The room was clean and comfortable. The property is located in the vecinity of a bus station and also very close to the old city, Coimbra's major attractions and quite close yo the CHUC hospital and the Faculty of Medicine. I feel that the rating of this property is unfairly low.

Toilets need some improvements as they were not clean all the time. Also, having the light switch for the showers room on the hallway is somewhat inconvenient. Most of the times, people would switch off both lights and leave the others showering in the dark.

Not really a fan of the location Had difficulty finding the place because taxis couldn’t reach the exact address (they were helpful enough to wait for me and called to ask if I needed any help) Quite tough if you have a lot of baggages 😭

Very, VERY clean. Hot showers, good kitchen, space to chill and space to eat. Truly great live music nearby, take aways etc. Well run hostel, exceptional and especially for this price I absolutely recommend.

Nothing to complain about, sometimes you can hear the live music from the Irish pub, but the quality of it is legendary so might as well go and enjoy it. If you need to catch the bus at 5 o clock on Sunday morning, need some sleep and don't want to use earplugs afraid of not waking up to the alarm then it can be a problem for some people but otherwise that hostel was a good idea, I ended up having the dorm for myself while staying there for few days in December.

Pet friendly place what was the most important for us as we are traveling with our 14years old dog. Nice room, lots of light during the day, kitchen available to use so we could cook at the place. Nice staff.

A bit noisy at friday nights.

Everything was good. The mattress was very comfy , a nice full kitchen. A dinner room, close to the city center and to the main attractions. Always very clean and organized.

The only thing maybe that the bathroom and showers were in another floor. That’s it.

Based on the reviews, I expected a terrible place and only chose it for the price but was positively surprised. The hostel is at a nice location - not super central but in a lively neighbourhood (that does also mean loud music), has all the necessary facilities (even a little underused work/reading nook), and is really clean. I was there on a cool night so can’t speak of the AC complaints others have. Bathrooms and dorms being on different floors is a bit of an inconvenience. They definitely need more sockets! It was especially nice to meet the receptionist Pedro.

Comfortable bed, decent showers, great location and easy parking nearby.

Kitchen apparently not to be used for cooking "big meals" (which, if I remember correctly, was anything besides toasties). Room got hot easily, but it was to be expected for a month like August´(and the fan device helped make it bearable). The nearest bathroom only allows for 2 people at a time and the one with the showers is on the lowest floor, which is not ideal since you will be carrying all your things up and down.

Need to climb one floor to the room and two floor down to the bathroom.

You are not allowed to cook bigger meals in the kitchen even the though equipment is present. - the bunk beds are not divided by a wall or screen, so it will feel like you are sleeping with someone in a king-size bed. This could easily be improved.
