The studio was very comfortable, great size for 2 or 3 people. I was alone so it was amazing. The terrace is algo big. The bed was comfortable and they gave me extra blankets as I requested. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I asked for a french press or something to make coffee and they had it ready for me at night.

The heater isn't strong enough to warm up the studio but it didn't affect me much (didn't pass cold at night with the blanket and duvet). Unfortunately the wifi didn't work on my old laptop, which I planned to use for work. This was really disappointing.

Dome Pedro feels like coming home to a family for a stay. The rooms are clean and offer flexibility to sleep up to 4 family members, bathroom, dining table for 4 and a kitchenette which is fully equipped to handle an easy meal prep should you want an extended family stay at a budget.

This was our second time staying at Dom Pedro and we notice the outdoor pool water is too cold to swim in late April and mid May (the only time we have holidays to visit) and it seems like we miss out on some fun. If the pool can get a water heater and a removable enclosure or a simple insulated cover to keep water slightly heated for the early vacationers, that be a great add on. The beds in the main bedroom are two single beds instead of a queen bed which is more comfortable.

The room was spacious and clean. We had a big balcony overlooking the pool and the beach.

I didn’t like the loud noise of chairs being dragged above my head in the upper floor. People stayed awake till late and they were doing a lot of noise. In the morning the cleaners were doing the same noise, it was disturbing. I’d like to recommend that the hotel protects all chairs with felt pads. This simple and cheap solution would avoid the great noise.

A wonderful boutique hotel, amazing staff, Catharina especially was so helpful with all the recommendations on how to get around and what to do! The breakfast was alright, but maybe it’s because we were there during the off season. Location is wonderful, close to the beach and the boardwalk, the pool area is divine. We will be coming back for sure!

The breakfast was alright, the yogurt was not good at all to eat together with the muesli, it should be a plain Greek yoghurt but it was a small packaged one. The coffee machine coffee wasn’t great, the machine seemed very weak and would give me a diluted coffee it seemed.

I had one the renovated, as requested studios facing the city and partial view of the beach which is across the road from the facility. The studio was very spacious with a bedroom elevated with two single beds together. Beyond the bedroom was a spacious room with the kitchenette, sofa bed, TV and dining table with four chairs. There was an open area with bar to the bedroom. There was large sliding glass doors opening to the balcony with table and three chairs with great views of the city and beach. All of the studios facing the beach have interior entrances which I understand have yet to be renovated but the others facing the city have outdoor entrances. There are six stories at the facility. From the street is a ramp to drive up to the parking area in the back; some spaces are covered spaces. I did not take breakfast which was Euro 12 but did take a look and it was a buffet type with scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, rolls and bread, juices, jams and a section with cold cuts of ham, turkey and cheeses. Staff was very friendly with a warm welcome. The location is just East of the nearby marina on Meia Praia beach which is very long and wide with elevated walking platforms. Easy location to the old town to the West. Best parking is at the Marina free parking lot and then taking the walking bridge over the river to the old town. Be sure to take a boat trip (kayak, speed boat or catamaran) to the Benagil sea caves. There are also fishing trips and dolphin trips.

There was no interior security door lock which is very important to have. There was no kitchen towel at the kitchenette so I had to use one of the bathroom hand towels. There were no facial tissues in the bathroom but did have a nice walk in shower with hand held sprayer.

Super friendly staff. We got the room at the east end of the building and had some views of the sea and beach. The room size is adequate for three of us. A little cooking space for a simple meal is a bonus. Free parking is also very convenient.

There’re lights but not enough so we have to use the floor lamp to shine the room. Shower is always less than half covered, we understand this is very common in Europe, so the floor got wet very easily from our shower. Then we walk around with wet slippers 😓 Cooking utensils were stored under the TV cabinet and we only found them when we were checking out 😂 Breakfast was ok though because not much food there. We even didn’t see a pitcher for drinking water. I guess you got with how much you paid for.

Everything!!! Our room was ready early, we were upgraded, the location could not be better, the bed was comfortable, the shower water hot, the kitchenette was well stocked, we had two balconies facing the beach and the rising sun. There terrific staff cleaned and refreshed our room every morning. We discovered it last year and stayed a week, then came back this year for more. We found our favorite restaurant a half mile walk from our “apartment” along the boardwalk. The beach is perhaps 200 yards away, and the center of Lagos only a mile on the boardwalk, even closer if you drive. Everywhere we went we could see our friendly hotel standing above its neighbors. There is a great supermarket about 1/2 mile west, just a couple minutes by car. There was plenty of onsite parking for our rental car. It is a wonderful base camp for our touring of the Algarve!

I can’t think of a thing.

Very spacious studio with large leaving space that could fit another two people easily in build in Sofa/Murphy bed. Clean and well appointed space. Giant balcony with drying rack, table and chairs. Perfect sea view with sound of waves all night (when balcony opened). Beach across the road with few km of board walk going up to Lagos Marina, with beach bars and access over the dunes to the water. Good spacious bathroom with good water pressure. Functional kitchen with pots, pans plates, knives, microwave and above all KETTLE !! Giant double wardrobe. Good working internet, had Teams meetings no problem, watched Netflix etc.

Slightly dated and lacking plugs but to be expected from oldish/pre-internet and mobile devices buildings. This could be addressed with extension leads to borrow from reception... Kitchen bin being a pedal bin or at least swing bin would be helpful. Paid laundrette on the sight (or even outside in the carpark) would be helpful and probably bring some serious money in, especially during peak season.

We booked bed & breakfast and were in an apartment with bedroom looking through to the kitchen/lounge/dining room and good-sized private balcony which overlooked the sand dunes and sea. Quiet location. 2 mins walk on boardwalk across dunes to sandy beach. 20-minute walk along boardwalk and small ferry across to the town. Grassy pool area, plenty of comfortable loungers, some shady trees. Sheltered from sometimes strong sea breezes.

Need to be aware of quicksand/soft sand trench on beach when tide at a certain point. Beach often very breezy.

Fantastic location, wonderful property, and every staff member I interacted with was so lovely, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone went above and beyond—for example, Mikael insisted on making sure I didn’t have to walk to the train station with my heavy bag. When I arrived, I felt immediately at home, and I had an amazing time for my entire stay. I wish I could move in!

I didn’t like having to leave! Everything was honestly perfect.
