The bedroom was nice, the beds were very comfortable. We also liked the small garden with lemons, we could eat our meals there. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. Well, the host lives there with her family :) We also liked the breakfast, there were a lot of alternatives, you’ll have something to eat even as a vegan. We could use the washing machine for our clothes, the host even proposed to use her detergent. Very recommended! The only thing is the distance from the beach but you can see that on the map when you’re booking. If you’re without a car, it’ll be a little difficult.

A house where you feel like home. Easy parking in the street, comfortable beds, kitchen area where you will find all you need for a good breakfast. Fantastic host. Marta let us arrive before checkin time to help us plan our day. Great communication. She even contacted me about a charger I accidentally left behind and asked if she could post it to me. So kind and thoughtful. She puts a lot of effort in making her guests happy.

What a lovely guesthouse! Tucked away on a residential street, only a 10 minute walk from the metro station. Everything was incredibly clean and comfy. Nice selection of self service breakfast items in the shared kitchen. I also liked lounging out on the patio under the lemon tree. Marta was an incredible host. Friendly, helpful, and super responsive. Just a gem of a place.

Everything was great!

Spacious, clean and dry house, nice and helpful owner. Large room for two, with two big windows, comfortable beds, impeccable bedding and towels! The bathroom is very big, clean and handy. A huge, comfortable kitchen for shared use with access to a beautiful patio with two trees - lemon and orange. It rained a lot during my stay in October, but I imagine it must be even more of a pleasure to sit there on warm, sunny days. The food set prepared for breakfasts is rich and tasty. Kitchen appliances are clean, functional and everything is in the right place. Coffee machine for freshly ground beans. Advantages only! I'd love to come back here.

Everything was perfect. Property is in calm area, Marta the owner is reelly kind. Breakfast were various and could choose between many cerelalies, juices, cheeses&hams or prepare egges by yourself. I like this place.

Airport is quite close so you can hear planes sometimes. But this is happening in whole Matosinhos, so not just problem of this amazing Casa dos Azulejos.

This was an amazing accommodation! We loved pur room and the facilities. It was sparkling clean and the host was super nice. We enjoyed our self-service breakfast with great coffee. There is a room where you can even play ping pong and exercise. And the roof terrace was just perfect for relaxing. We would love to stay here again 😊

this is the absolutely recommended place good value for money location is still ok! Simple clean and well maintained. My son loved the table tennis table 🤗Marta was so amazing host the room was clean. Our flight was 6am so we left the apartment at 4:30 yet still there were already available breakfast goodies which we could enjoy in the kitchen and to make a quick coffee. If ever again Porto i will be staying there for sure!

Nice welcome, good beds, everything available, nice table tennis in the attick, a hostel feeling but that is whatit is. Great coffee and nice to be able to make breakfast and cook.

The area is really complicated to drive around and get anywhere.

The host was super nice and communicated with us often. Our favourite parts of the stay were the balconies and outside areas, the variety of breakfast foods and gym equipment (weights, yoga mays etc) upstairs.

We didn’t realise it was a shared house/kitchen but there was more than enough space across the 3 floors so wasn’t an issue at all.

The owner Marta, was very helpful and kept in contact with us until we arrived. The room was spacious and bedding lovely and fresh. The accommodation was immaculate. Delicious full breakfast with coffee machine, cereal, bread, eggs and fruit to choose from. We could help ourself with anything. We can definitely recommend Casa dos Azulejos. Thank you Marta.
