The room is decent and good, clean and has a standard double bed. The TV was decent, and cleaning was great, though we alternate cleaning as we wake up late after late-night outings. The staff were very professional, both on the phone, spoke English and resolved my queries as quickly as possible. As for breakfast, it was okay, and the variety was good.

I was disappointed that there was no hot food such as baked beans, fried eggs or bacon, which I greatly missed, for my English breakfast. I had to alternate the days I had booked breakfast at the hotel and head to the nearby KFC and Burger King at the shopping mall behind the hotel for hot food ( a 5-minute walk away ). Also, it took 3 days to get a kettle to use and disappointing that no cups or even tea bags were provided for a 7-day stay.

We chose the hotel for our last night if our trip as I had an early flight the next day. The hotel room was very clean and a good size. I liked the bathroom which had a shower with both rain head and wand options. I liked the light green hexagonal tiles on the wall. There was a safe in the room and the TV had a good choice of channels. The staff were very friendly. I had to ask for help as my toilet wouldn't stop flushing. The receptionist came straight up and sorted the problem very quickly and he showed me what to do if it happened again. I had no further problems. Also in the morning I thought I had booked a taxi with reception for 6.15, but the receptionist advised I had requested it at 6.30. everyone in the hotel was very happy and friendly. We walked to Sete Bicas metro stop, which was only 5 minutes away. We were able to go over to Matosinhos Sul and walked to the beach to enjoy a relaxing end to our holiday. You can easily get into Porto city from this metro station too, but we wanted a change from the city on our last day. The Norte shopping centre is very close to the hotel.

Nothing. It was the perfect hotel for our purposes.

Spotlessly clean, great location a few stops from Trindade but near enough to get into centre of Porto. Right next to a great shopping/cinema/restaurant complex so good place to chill after long day of sightseeing. Park nearby to stretch your legs and exercise and pool close by too - though a bit pricey... Staff at Moov are really helpful and kind - helped me find my misplaced baseball cap. Breakfast is very good and very healthy. Cold water dispensers on every floor.

Why is the hotel only listed as a 2 star? This is easily a 3 star and better than some 4 stars I stayed in before. Despite the good feedback, the hotel is a little "clinical" there's no real character here Everything is presented in a very basic style. The bed was "ok", probably the weakest area.

Very nice and modern hotel, comfortable and well maintained. The rooms are simple, comfortable and clean, as are all common areas in the hotel. Professional staff, quick and efficient check-in. Excellent sound insulation. The hotel is in an ideal location where several metro lines pass to the center and the airport. There is an excellent large shopping center nearby where you can have a good meal at decent prices. Wi fi flawless. Safe and very pleasant place to rest after a day of sightseeing in the city. Highly recommended to everyone.

My experience with Moov Hotel Norte was extremely positive. It had an easy check in produce, well positioned between the historic city centre and the airport, the rooms were clean and, mostly, functional. Loved the water tap on the floor, so you can get nice clean nonchlorinated water. This hotel outdid my expectations.

The AC control panel in the room was a bit wonky, but I managed to get it to work.

Staff help and attention to service was excellent, thank you for the Kettle and cups for us to make a coffee/tea in the room, very much appreciated

The Air Con, fan and heating panel could not be adjusted, at times the room was overheating and we couldn't adjust the temp to a more comfortable condition. Had to keep opening the window to cool down and get rid of stale air in the room.

Location, everything close to the subway, literally in front of a shopping center. The rooms were clean, check-in was easy because we arrived earlier and they let us do the check-in 1h before. The other good thing is that they store our luggage for a couple of hours after the check-out because our flight was in the evening. Overall it is a good hotel.

The beds could be a little more comfortable but they were okay. The isolation of this hotel also could be a little better because we could ear people walking on the hall but nothing disturbing.

Well located for the area next to the shopping mall. Clean room bed comfortable. Car parking paid but not very expensive. Reception workers very helpful. Breakfast I didn’t use it . Good value for money

Don’t have a comfortable waiting area in the reception or to be in the internet. You need to decide immediately if you want breakfast or not otherwise you pay more when u do check in. But doesn’t give option to book already with breakfast. Doesn’t have many amenities or kettle in the room but there is vending machines outside.

The hotel is out of the centre, halfway to the airport. The nearest tram stop is 400m away and both airport and city centre about 15 mins away. Trams are frequent. There is an adjacent large shopping mall but otherwise cafes and restaurants are sparse nearby.

I couldn't fault the accommodation for good value, but the public areas such as they are, are somewhat soulless
