Isabell will make your staying unforgettable.The apartment is comfortable and clean but what will make your staying unique is the hospitality of the hostess.We really enjoy taking breakfast in the back yard.The area around is safe ,not very near to town center but you easily go there using the metro or even better using Bolt or Uber which is very cheap in Portugal ( 5-6euros most of the times).Free parking around is easily found.

Be considered that the rooms upstairs are mandan rooms,so you might don't like them if you are tall. We didn't although have any problem and we enjoy the privacy.

Loved the self contained studio with loft bedroom. Fully stocked kitchen with all the bells and whistles. Isabel the host was the most sweetest accomodating person you could ever hope for. Her willingness to share local knowledge combined with attention to detail made it a lovely experience. This was felt by all guests. Located 200m (5mins) walk to Metro was perfect. Quiet location

Only issue was bed was a little small for two 6ft people in the studio accomodation but we managed. Perfect for others and Isabel realised this immediately and did everything to try appease the issue. This was not required though as it was an easy play off against the top notch facilities.

Our apartment was very well equipped with lovely little welcoming touches left by Isabel. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could need if you were staying for longer. The bathroom was spotless and the shower excellent. We liked the quirky loft bedroom and how the apartment was decorated with lots of homely touches. Very comfy bed. Area is quiet but very close to the Bom Sucesso Market which has wonderful food and drink.. Also it's easy to navigate round the city on the metro as Casa de Musica stop is around 5 min walk. Isabel is an excellent host, who gave us plenty of tips about Porto. She was very welcoming and kept checking we were OK and had everything we needed.

Isabel Neves is the best host of Europe ! She Excels in her job. The breakfast is fantastic ! The house and rooms are charming. Me and my family enjoyed every minute of it !

The only bad thing I can say is the distance to the city center. 45 minutes on foot. But you can take the subway. Or like I did because my wife brought the wrong shoes : take a Bolt. Not more than 6 euro for 4 persons. ( The subway was 10 )

Isabel gave us a very warm welcome and ensured we were well catered for throughout our stay. The room has everything you need for self catering. We chose to have breakfast provided by Isabel on a few days, which was very generous and delicious. Close to Casa da Música metro, which was necessary.

Just a small point if you are tall or large, the double bed is quite small. The location was good to be away from the crowds, but public transport was required for every outing. There's not much to do in the immediate area.

The room was part of a guesthouse near Casa de Musica, near the metro (and a 20 minut walk to the centre). The Hostess really makes this place special: she is super friendly and helpful, and makes fabulous breakfasts! She'd be happy to give you some tips where to eat and where to shop nearby. The wifi worked well during my stay, as did the AC. The kitchen has a coffee machine and a fridge that can be used by the guests whenever they want, which is really nice. The neighbourhood isn't central, but it's close by the centre and much less crowded, which I appreciated. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and I'd recommend this guesthouse to any solo traveller.

The room was small, but it was clean and had everything I needed, so no complaints here.

I had a lovely few nights stay in this bnb run by a very kind and friendly host who made everyone feel welcome there. The house was beautiful and tidy, with a well-furnished and chic interior, within a stone's throw from Casa da Musica metro station. The bed was soft and comfortable, and for me it was also ensuite which was nice. I find the environment very calming and tidy, and the breakfast there was very sumptuous. I will recommend to other visitors who travel to Porto for sightseeing or personal leisure trips.

The breakfast was the highlight, half the reason we came here, and it didnt disappoint! So much food, so much variety. Isabel was so accommodating! Anything you needed, she was right there helping you out! The bed was very comfortable. The place was surprisingly quiet…with the shutters open, there was some traffic noise, but once you shut everything, noise was not an issue. Location to the metro is also excellent…though we just walked each day. Communication was excellent. Value was excellent, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nothing really. Maybe the shower could have been a bit better thought out, with better pressure, but it was not an issue, this is me just nitpicking small things.

I had an extremely pleasant one-week stay at Domus Dourum. The accommodation is just 3 minutes from Casa da Música, a lovely area with access to the metro and dozens of buses that take you anywhere in the city. Izabel is the perfect host; everything is spotlessly clean, the rooms are charming and equipped with everything you need, and the breakfast she prepares every morning is especially delicious, varied, and generous. In a word, I felt at home, even though I was nearly 4000 km away. When I return to Porto, Domus Dourum will definitely be my choice again.

The hostess was particularly lovely. We felt very welcome, which was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. This accommodation has very comfortable bedrooms. It was really helpful having access to other facilities, like the kitchen and sitting room. Particulary liked the delicious breakfast outside in the courtyard area in the mornings.

I can't think of anything which I didn't like.
