The location is perfect. It's not in the main touristy area, but everything is still quite easily accessible. There's also a shopping mall nearby that's fun to visit in the evenings. The hotel is very clean, and you can see vending machines conveniently located in the corners and on each floor, so if you need snacks or other items, you can easily purchase them. The hotel entrance is spacious, making it easy to move in and out. The room I stayed in was very spacious, so there were no concerns about feeling cramped.

The only thing I didn't like was the lighting in the bathroom. It was quite dim and could use more lighting to make it brighter and more functional.

Spent 4 nights in HF Fenix. When booking I had requested a double room but was given 2 singles. We just pushed the beds together. The hotel was lovely and clean. The room was nice with wooden floors and nice full length mirror and was cleaned daily. There is a Lovely food market just a few minutes walk from the hotel with a variety of food and drink to choose from . A good 30 minute walk (some steep downhill) to the main area. But Ubers are cheap and there is a taxi rank right across the road if you don’t fancy walking.

The bar didn’t open until 5pm. The bathroom door was a sliding glass door with frosting just in the middle .

I love this hotel. Conveniently located near the Casa da Música metro station and several bus stop, which will take you everywhere you need in a few minutes (downtown, seaside, airport…). The rooms are big and well maintained, with big bathrooms and showers, large windows and closets. Everything is very clean thanks to the efficient and discreet housekeeping staff. The Front desk staff is helpful and friendly and there’s nothing they don’t know about the lovely city of Porto (including finding you an open pharmacy on weekends). I’ll keep coming back, as always.

Food options. Just pizza? That washroom has absolutely no privacy! What is that? A washroom needs a door, and it needs to be closed from the ceiling to the floor, and no transparency such as in clear glass.

Room 510 was about twice as big as I expected. Everything was beautiful: the bathroom, the full length mirror, etc. Plenty of room to use my exercise mat. Big bed, very comfortable. Loved it, I didn't want to leave. Also, there were a lot of shopping and eating options very close. Less than 10 min walk from the Casa de Musica metro stop.

Pretty far from the city center, but the taxis are inexpensive, and there was always a line of them available just outside the front door.

Second time at this hotel and it was again a real pleasure. The reception is really helpful. The rooms are quite big and comfortable. The bathroom was recently renovated and really clean. Really worth the price. The breakfast has a lot to offer, is not too crowded and the staff is friendly. The hotel also has a bar with really good cocktails at affordable prices. And the location may be quite far from the center for some people but it's possible to reach the center by foot. We used a lot of Ubers from transport. There's also a shopping center and a food hall really close to the hotel.

The location is excellent being next to bom sucesso market, shopping center, subway, casa da musica and lot of restaurants and coffee shops, very convenient. The breakfast is good but I would suggest to make it daily a little bit different, otherwise is boring if someone stays several days. I recommend having sun side fried egg. The room was tidy and clean. They have car parking, very convenient. I use to come every year to Porto and always stay in Fenix Porto hotel. This year the booking was not easy, it was quite fully occupied.

This hotel was lovely, with spacious clean rooms. The breakfast choices were excellent, with staff being very attentive. I would recommend this hotel. Outside, there were always taxis waiting to take us into town, which are so cheap.

Our room did have a connecting door to the next room ( obviously locked) but we were conscious of making noise, or having tv too high, in case we disturbed, maybe other people wouldn’t, but would have preferred it not to be there?

The room was very spacious, and the hotel is quite modern in general. All the amenities were there: a minibar, a kettle for tea, etc. The bed was quite comfortable.

One little quirk was that the whole bathroom including the toilet didn't really have a proper door ;) Only a matte glass screen between the main room and the toilet/shower. Might not work for everybody, but a good way to test your relationship with your partner!

Very nice hotel and the staff. The beds were supercomfy and the room is really spacious. You have a kettle and tea/coffee for your disposal. I liked the shower as well. There are shopping centers, cafés and restaurants in the neighborhood.

The location is not the best, but we expected it. So if you want to go sightseeing you'd have to walk to the city centre for about 40-45 minutes, or take a metro, which is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Also, the floor was a bit dusty, but the cleaning in general was very nice.
