We had a nice stay at this hotel. Although it is currently undergoing renovations, the impact on our experience was minimal - just a bit of noise in the morning, which was hardly disruptive. The breakfast was excellent, offering a diverse selection of quality options. The fresh fruits were delicious, the orange juice was refreshing, and the champagne was a delightful touch. The service was great, with particularly attentive and friendly staff in the breakfast area who made the mornings more enjoyable. The hotel bar was also OK, featuring a good selection of drinks, including good quality draft beer. In terms of location, the hotel is relatively close to major attractions. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Torre dos Clérigos on foot, while Ribeira is approximately a 30–35-minute walk. This makes it a convenient choice for exploring Porto while still enjoying a quieter setting. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money. Given our positive experience, we would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Porto.

Nothing everything was OK

We had a wonderful 6 night stay at this hotel. We travelled with our 2 kids, age 2 and 5 and opted for a family room which exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful - we had a separate room for the kids with bunk beds. The cot was also set up beautifully. We paid extra for breakfast, €12 per adult, per day which was fab and the kids were free - really set us up for the day. Staff were lovely and really nice to the kids. The bar area had a lovely atmosphere and we finished off our day there most evenings. The location was great and the Bom Sucesso Market was a highlight for us and just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Everything was great but as the weather was terrible a pool would have been amazing. We did ask about using the pool in the other HF hotels but this was not possible.

Due to flight delay missed one night accommodation(not fault of hotel) but just missed breakfast Hotel could have offered snack in lieu of full breakfast. .On day of departure returned to hotel pm to collect bags but were soaked due to heavy rain.Asked staff if we could use room to dry and replace wet clothes but only offered use of toilets which were too small for purpose.

We could only book breakfast for the whole of our stay in advance but We weren’t sure of our plans and asked to book for 3/4 people for one day but could not be accommodated. So 3 of us attended breakfast and had to pay a higher price. Saying that the food was good a nice selection of continental with some hot options. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been better if we could have booked for one day at the lower price.

Good location, calm street, near old town. Clean, comfortable rooms. Great food selection for breakfast. Friendly and supportive staff. Really nice restaurant across the street :) small details like bottle of water found in the room every day after walking the town made my stay very pleasant.

My daughter missed the pool a lot. Parking was full all the time and had to search every day for a spot to park in some parking lots outside…

Excellent room, quite spacious with good lighting, there were everything you need. You can see the ocean from the window. Only it is impossible to tune a TV without knowing Portuguese. Somewhat away from the center, but there is a very accessible taxi in Porto. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Good breakfasts. Some inconvenience is that the hotel restaurant is closed most of the time.

It would be nice if the restaurant was open most of the day

Very friendly staff and super helpful. The breakfast was very good, really good variety of hot and cold food. The bedroom was clean and the beds very comfortable. The bar has a very chilled environment and a good selection of drinks.

If you want a double bed make sure you don’t pick the ‘twin or double bed’ option, because it’s likely that in high season you end up in twin beds (which you can put together). The parking is also limited (but the staff are very helpful in case the car park is full when you arrive). The location is good but if you’re walking with kids you might want to stay a bit closer to the city centre.

Great location, within walking distance to attractions. Spacious, clean room. Bonus: there is an excellent restaurant across the street for Francesinha!

One staff member at the front desk was very rude and lied to my face. This is the only non-friendly person during my entire trip to Portugal.

Efficient business hotel with great breakfast buffet. Very comfy beds & aircon, good hot water & shower pressure. Our family suite was perfect for our family of 4. Prompt staff in the curt Porto way. Many restos with lunch specials nearby. Stashed our rental car in onsite parking (€12/day) and Ubered to all the sights: Ribeiro, Gaia, Lello, and snazzy Norteshopping (Fogo de Chao AYCE rodizio!). We'd stay here again, or any of the HF hotels in Porto.

Nothing, everything was great. Note there is no art or deco in the rooms (business hotel), in a commercial area (not touristy) and the desks showed signs of wear, which didn't bother us at all.

Location was perfect. Although it is on a busy road, it was very quiet inside. There is a very good bakery opposite and many restaurants all around. Even a food market which was very good and value for money. Hotel was very clean and the maid did an excellent job. We always found our room spotless
