We had a nice stay at this hotel. Although it is currently undergoing renovations, the impact on our experience was minimal - just a bit of noise in the morning, which was hardly disruptive. The breakfast was excellent, offering a diverse selection of quality options. The fresh fruits were delicious, the orange juice was refreshing, and the champagne was a delightful touch. The service was great, with particularly attentive and friendly staff in the breakfast area who made the mornings more enjoyable. The hotel bar was also OK, featuring a good selection of drinks, including good quality draft beer. In terms of location, the hotel is relatively close to major attractions. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Torre dos Clérigos on foot, while Ribeira is approximately a 30–35-minute walk. This makes it a convenient choice for exploring Porto while still enjoying a quieter setting. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money. Given our positive experience, we would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Porto.

Nothing everything was OK

Kind & helpful staff, cosy room and good location. Happy with the hotel itself, would stay again if I visit Porto again.

1) Would prefer carpet over hardwood. 2) The payment process was confusing. I booked via Booking.com 3 months ahead of my arrival and entered my debit card info on Booking.com. A month later, the hotel incorrectly informed Booking.com that my card was invalid (despite being perfectly valid), and requested payment on the hotel's website within 48 hours or they will cancel the booking. It appears that this confusing process is the hotel's "normal" policy, unfortunately. What if I didn't check email within those 48h?!

The hotel is very quiet, despite its location in a street with a lot of traffic. It lies about 700 m from a "Casa da Musica" Metro Station, with easy access to the airport. Not that close to the main touristic attractions, but well suited for my business trip at Crystal Palace Gardens (which is also a nice place with great vies of the city). Anyway, with a 30 min walk you reach Douro River and "Cais da Ribeira", or just call an Uber. The hotel restaurant serves good meals. There is a restaurant outside, a short walk from the hotel, that also serves nice sea food.

I only missed a pair of slippers in my bedroom, it would be helpful. Just a suggestion, not something that compromises the hotel quality. It would complete the amenities (espresso, tea, free bottle of water) that are already in the room.

We had a wonderful 6 night stay at this hotel. We travelled with our 2 kids, age 2 and 5 and opted for a family room which exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful - we had a separate room for the kids with bunk beds. The cot was also set up beautifully. We paid extra for breakfast, €12 per adult, per day which was fab and the kids were free - really set us up for the day. Staff were lovely and really nice to the kids. The bar area had a lovely atmosphere and we finished off our day there most evenings. The location was great and the Bom Sucesso Market was a highlight for us and just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Everything was great but as the weather was terrible a pool would have been amazing. We did ask about using the pool in the other HF hotels but this was not possible.

The room was clean and modern and the staff provided make up service daily. The parking was easy to use provided we arrived early enough. The beds were comfortable and they provided water and coffee in the room.

The location was about a 30 minute walk from the city center. Although Ubers were cheap, we were expecting to be a little bit closer. The restaurant across the street from the hotel was delicious and convenient, though!

Due to flight delay missed one night accommodation(not fault of hotel) but just missed breakfast Hotel could have offered snack in lieu of full breakfast. .On day of departure returned to hotel pm to collect bags but were soaked due to heavy rain.Asked staff if we could use room to dry and replace wet clothes but only offered use of toilets which were too small for purpose.

We could only book breakfast for the whole of our stay in advance but We weren’t sure of our plans and asked to book for 3/4 people for one day but could not be accommodated. So 3 of us attended breakfast and had to pay a higher price. Saying that the food was good a nice selection of continental with some hot options. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been better if we could have booked for one day at the lower price.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Was a little out of the way of the central area of Porto but Uber was cheap. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The hostess at breakfast showed us to a table right by the buffet breakfast where people stood behind us to get coffee. She didn’t like it when we asked to move tables and only did so reluctantly.

Good location, calm street, near old town. Clean, comfortable rooms. Great food selection for breakfast. Friendly and supportive staff. Really nice restaurant across the street :) small details like bottle of water found in the room every day after walking the town made my stay very pleasant.

My daughter missed the pool a lot. Parking was full all the time and had to search every day for a spot to park in some parking lots outside…

Excellent room, quite spacious with good lighting, there were everything you need. You can see the ocean from the window. Only it is impossible to tune a TV without knowing Portuguese. Somewhat away from the center, but there is a very accessible taxi in Porto. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Good breakfasts. Some inconvenience is that the hotel restaurant is closed most of the time.
