We enjoyed staying in this large, airy room. The location was ideal, in a quiet residential neighborhood of art galleries and some good restaurants. It was away from the main tourist scrum but still just a short walk from downtown. Having on-site management was very nice. We will certainly book here again if we have the opportunity to visit Porto.

There is no elevator in the building, so be prepared for that. But the stairs were wide and well-lit, and the manager Marcia very kindly assisted with carrying our luggage.

Well, I’m shame to mention that, but it’s just a constructive feedback, I just love everything, but to be perfect the beds should have a place to charge our phone… I was feeling tired, wishing to be on the bed, my phone with battery in 15% …however I couldn’t have my phone close to me because to charge it was far away from all the beds in the whole room… anyway, to void it in my future travels anywhere, I will always just carry with me a extension charger 🔌. A part from that my experience was fantastic… thank you

Good communication about how to get in. Good parking for the mororcycle and free if I placed it out of the way of car parking. Room was clean, spacious, quite and comfortable. A great selection of TV programs available, some in English.

The flat is showing some signs of wear and tear, but not surprising. No basic food supplies such as salt and pepper. Some coffee pods to go with the coffee machine would have been appreciated. Nothing at the local supermarket was available for it. Being on the 3rd floor, with no lift and luggage was a challenge for this pensioners body!

Comfortable beds, nice, clean apartment, great bathroom, keyless access, parking in front of the apartment, overall location easy to access with car and not too far to walk to the city centre.

Some stairs to climb up to the apartment but if you're in good health it's not a problem. Tea kettle with lots of limescale. No complimentary tea bags at all. Only two coffee pods available for the coffee machine. If two persons are staying for two nights, at least offer two capsules/day and some tea bags or don't include coffee/tea equipment in the room at all. This really just looks like being cheap and spoils the whole picture and experience a bit, which was otherwise perfect.

Location was fabulous - very convenient for getting the bus to and from the airport - about 35 minutes and only 3 euros! Mini market and several small galleries and cafes/restaurants in the street. Other shops and restaurants nearby. Easy walking distance to the river and all central attractions. We were able to leave our luggage on arrival before check-in time and after we checked out while we went out for breakfast. We found the best little bars and restaurants just off the main streets and tourist areas - some fabulous food and affordable drinks if you find the right places. We had a great value wine tour - Augusto’s - with money back on any purchase.

Would have loved a basic welcome pack in apartment, including info on tours etc.

Clean, well equipped, good location, safe, good parking. They gave us a discounted price on the parking. The staff are incredibly professional, friendly, and accommodating. It was cold and heavily raining, but the unit was always warm. We were able to cook meals in the unit. The bed was comfortable. The unit was spacious enough for two adults and a 2year old child. Well worth the money. I would stay here again.

The mattress in the sofa bed is thin. Perhaps not suitable for adults

The apartment has everything I needed, it has good furniture and the ambient is comfortable. I could rest without any problem, cook something by myself and watch tv. If you're looking for a place where to sleep between your tourist days in Porto, that's the perfect one. There were also a lot of families in other apartments and they looked so relaxed and satisfied by their staying. So I can say that Downtown Lovers Suites are recommended to everyone! A great thank you to Márcia and Beatriz, they are so kind and really available to help you! I'll consider to book again here for my future visits to Porto!

It was definitely what I was looking for, so that's hard for me to find something wrong...so if I'm forced to find some, I'd say maybe a wider window 🤷🏼‍♂️

some details about cleanness could be improved, such as dust in friezes and corners, but in general everything is clean. As the room is big the air conditioning takes a long time to acclimatize the entire space and we need to use the turbo mode which is too noisy and non efficient

Amazing place in the nice location! A lot of cafes, bars and interesting places are around this place. If you’re interested in wine, there’s a wonderful bar called Cave Bombarda just around the corner.

If for some reason you don’t use the air conditioner and want to keep the windows open at night, be prepared for seagulls crying all night long (that’s just part of living by the ocean).

We have truly enjoyed our stay. The studio is very spacious even better than the photos show, and filled with light thanks to tall windows. Everything is well cared and thought. Although we had limited time for sightseeing, we ended up spending some of that time in the room, as it was so enjoyable. The communication with the hosts was excellent and the instructions were clear. The location is great as well. It is not right in the center of everything, but in a quiet and nice area, in walking distance to the main sights. We would definitely prefer to stay here again, if return to Porto in the future.

One of the towels left to us was torn and had a hole in it. This was probably overlooked because they were probably mass washed. Also be careful with the coffee machine, as you have to stop the machine at some point, otherwise it overflows the cup. Except these minor issues, I cannot think of anything negative.
