We were a bit worried about staying at the hotel during its soft opening but our worries were completely unnecessary. The hotel is made with great attention to detail and high-quality materials. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is fantastic and the chef does a great job combining Portuguese tradition with new exciting flavors. We will definitely come back when we are in Porto again. When the pool and rooftop are finished, it will surely be one of the best hotels in Porto.

We were lucky to be one of the first guests of Altis Porto Hotel. The hotel is well located within easy walking distance of the city center. The room was spacious and equipped with everything a traveler needs. The staff welcomed us with a smile every morning, ready to do everything to ensure a pleasant stay and were helpful in assisting us planning our days, suggesting activities. The restaurant at the hotel offers excellent food and vine with emphasis is on ingredients from the local area. The breakfast buffet had wide selection of fresh local food. At the end of the day it was wonderful to enjoy cocktails at the hotel bar. The hotel is beautifully designed with an emphasis on Portuguese design. We are looking forward to our next stay, when the rooftop swimmingpool and the spa are ready.

The property is gorgeous, and very clean! The beds are so comfortable. The food is amazing!!

A brand new hotel and so super smart and clean . Staff all go out of their way to be super helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Food quality is excellent and so tasty, really 5 star food ! The location was great for us and good walking to all places we wanted to visit . Our room overlooked river and was glorious . We had a lovely small balcony , no furniture but it meant we could leave doors open and keep AC off so had nice fresh air . Pools are good too , just a bit cold but we did visit in November. Absolutely nothing not to like about this hotel , lovely .

Nothing we didn't like ,but would be even better to have had towels available on roof pool and maybe the ability to order drinks without having to go fetch , however I think they not set roof top pool up fully yet but can use and has lovely loungers . Also will be good when TV can 'mirror 'from phones properly as is the option. We couldn't only get a poor YouTube quality and no TV screening even though helpful staff assisted us . We didn't really need TV but because option was there on our welcome screen we kept trying it and staff helped us buy not working with iPhone or Samsung. Maybe an Internet issue . These were only little things but will be full marks when these sorted .

The hotel and the staff exceeded expectations at all levels. From the personalised check-in process (with complementary wine) to all requests during the stay, it was a fabulous experience. The hotel is newly built, and cleanliness levels were high. The rooms are of a generous size with a pleasing layout and excellent amenities. Attention to details was significant. My complements to the hotel management and particularly to the front office staff, who made us feel important. A surprise with the in-house restaurant where we had some great meals, made and served with love. Location was very good, 10-12 minutes’ walk to downtown. Strongly recommended for enriching your overall experience of the trip to Porto.

Staff are superb, extremely friendly, efficient and helpful! Stylish, sleek and Exuberante restaurant is sublime, highly recommend. Hotel staff could not do enough for us without any intrusion, it is 5* all the way. Special mention to Miriam (front desk) and Nelson (Exuberante restaurant) who were highly professional and so lovely. Staff were always quick and efficient whenever any requests made (room service, luggage store/collection) with very good communication before arrival. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Only a very small complaint but is a little out of the main districts, but accessible all the same, but equally it is quiet and on the right side of town for 15-20mins to airport. Roof top bar also closed during our stay. Only 2 trams running in Porto due to various constructions, so one tram is 1min walk (line 18) and very close to Palacio de Cristal so that was a highlight with great views.

Lovely staff, very helpful too, good location, very comfy beds , beautiful bathroom, quiet air conditioning and quiet generally, wonderful breakfasts

Design features: Small thing but annoying ( especially in a room with lots of space) is the tiny space to make tea/ coffee , cups are impossible to hold when tea just made as are too hot with no handle, no spoons and nowhere near to put the the teabag . Also not enough cupboard space for clothes for 2 people. Would have liked some balcony furniture as lovely view! It was a shame pool and spa not yet open though we received a room upgrade for this. I would suggest greener to have option not to change towels daily though that was nice!

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is modern, with spotless, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options. We dined twice at the hotel's restaurant, Exuberante, and were really impressed. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were exceptional. Especially, the restaurant's staff was extremely kind and professional, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Everything was perfect. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to offer a welcome drink at check-in to make guests feel even more welcomed.
