Second time staying here! Came here pre and post Camino. Very nice owner and staff. Breakfast is reliable and consistent; I appreciated the available fruits and water throughout out the day. The beds are large and comfy and the rooms I was in had a great view. loved that it was slightly outside the touristic shops and right by the river so an easy walk to the city or to Matosinhos, right along the Camino path. Lots of helpful signs in the kitchen and labels to make sure people know what food is yours. So close to a Continente grocery store and nice little river-side restaurants. Also close to a bus stop (500) to Matosinhos. The locker size was generous and fit everything. Overall really great stay, fantastic people, and a place I’m glad to return to when I visit Porto again :)

Nothing, I stayed here maybe 9 days total during my two stays this summer and really loved it. The only suggestion I’d make is to double check that all the lights for all the beds work.

Great location, easy to get around by walking or taking a bus - bust stop literally on the other of the hostel. NIce cute place to stay. Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly- Marthina, Fernando Julio - the morning team were so kind and helpful during breakfast and the other staff members who were on the afternoon shifts were also very friendly - sorry didn't catch their names. Next time I'm in Porto- I will stay here again.

Its not so much I didn't like- it would have been nice to have a big TV to watch the football match which was on during my stay. The restaurant was nearby so I was able to watch it.

I stayed there for a short while (2 nights; 8-bed female bedroom) and the overall experience was amazing (with an extra shoutout to the staff, breakfast, location, spacey and well equipped kitchen, and cleanliness; they all exceeded expectations).

In general, the room is a bit packed and earplugs are helpful so as to not hear the sounds from the stairs - but this is not really a complaint; I honestly believe this is to be expected from staying at hostels [sharing just as a reminder to other travellers so that they have the best experience :)]..

Loved it. Very cosy, very friendly staff. They help you on so many levels: problems in the hostel, questions about Porto, tips to eat and drink, ... The room was really nice and the bathroom was comfy and big enough for 8 people. Everything was also very clean. The breakfast is simple, but good. And you have fruit, water, thee and coffee for free during the whole day.

Nothing ! Only 1 tip: the hostel is near the Douro. Which means: a climb to get to the city center. Overall it's 20 - 30 min walk to the main attractions or to visit Gaia. Not a problem at all for me, but keep this in mind !

It’s well located the beds are confortable The bathroom is amazing bc there are two toilet and two shower and it never get too wet! :) there is space to put your staff and also an hairdryer The breakfast is excellent; they give you 3 tipe of milk, orange juice, chocolate, jam and cereals! There are also bread with cheese and ham! and other things :) I loved it It’s really beautiful also outside

Maybe there are few places to sit when it’s breakfast time but it wasn’t a problem for us and you can manage it :)

I really enjoyed my trip to Porto. This hostel is just such a nice place to stay. There's everything needed during traveling.. it's clean, the breakfast is very good and varied and the people there are very kind and able to help you. When I went there I had a very nice talk with Paulo (one guy that is working there in the reception) and he gave me a map and told me about the most important sights to see in Porto. I can personally only recommend, I truly enjoyed staying there.

Great place to stay for cheap, location is great, breakfast is included with plenty of options. The owner is spot on and down to earth but will manage issues if there are any. Place has a decent living area with lots of tables, games, books and puzzles if weather is not the best outside. Plenty of local places to go for coffee, grocery shopping, food and transport links to town centre and beaches.

It felt so much like home! The beds were comfy, and the view from the dorm was so, so beautiful. Super clean, felt secure. Free breakfast was better than most hostels I’ve stayed at in Porto. Met some really lovely people there who made my trip so wonderful, and I’ve only got this hostel to thank. Such a lovely vibe!

A slight walk from the centre of Porto, and common area didn’t often have enough space at breakfast to sit down and eat.

Location. Apartment is away from the touristic paths, so it’s not crowded. But still close to the old town. Walking distance. View to the river is beautiful. Comfy bed and big room with a little kitchen. We found a bottle of cold white wine in the fridge! What a lovely surprise! Friendly guys at the reception so as the owner! Thanks for the free beers and nice chat!

Balcony is facing to the road and also tram way, so it’s a bit noisy. Few minor things which were resolved by the staff right away.

First of all I had wonderful time there and met so many cool people all around the world. Everything seemed clean / bathroom for each room / breakfast was good and enough. Altought the location might seem a bit far off the centre, its insanely cheap to get bolt all around Bilbao that it doesnt even matter. If you dont like spending for bolt, you get to the centre in 20 minutes by walking (nice riverside walk). With that, it was super quiet during the nights (if I count the street).

Since the bunk beds are a bit more of a cheap quality, everytime someone moves you feel it. But I feel like its just a problem in the guests and not in the hostel. If there would be something to change, it would be the beds to make them a bit tougher and a bit more accessable if you get a top bunk.
