I really enjoyed my stay at NEYA Porto Hotel. The property combines modern comfort with a touch of charm, and it felt both stylish and welcoming. The rooms were clean, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in both the décor and functionality. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help with recommendations or arrangements, which made the stay feel personal and stress-free. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious, with both international and Portuguese options. The dining area also had a lovely atmosphere to start the day. Overall, I loved the combination of comfort, great service, and location. NEYA Porto Hotel is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a relaxing stay with easy access to the best of Porto.

While my overall stay was very good, there are a couple of small areas that could be improved. Depending on the room, the sound insulation wasn’t perfect — I could sometimes hear noise from the hallway or outside. My husband is a smoker, and it was difficult for him to have a smoke late at night since the hotel doors were locked, which made it less comfortable for him. The closet space was quite limited and really only suitable for one person, which made it a bit difficult for two guests. Additionally, the water pressure in the bathroom was quite low, which was a bit disappointing, especially for a hotel of this standard.

The conversion carried out to create this hotel has been done very well. The Skybar on Level 5 especially is a great place to hang out. We were fortunate enough to be staying on L5 too. The guestroom is well furnished but the bathroom is a tad on the small side but they have worked with the space constraints. The design in very contemporary with use of exposed and polished concrete which I am not a fan of. The hotel staff are very attentive and courteous and avail themselves to assist you. We did not eat in the hotel save for breakfast because there are so many options in Porto not to be missed. The breakfast was adequate in my opinion but for a 4* hotel to charge for cooked food such as eggs, omelette, etc. is ridiculous in this day and age so I marked the score down as a result. Location wise, it is 1-2 kms away from the old city but you can catch the 500 bus close to the hotel for €2.50 which will drop you off at Santo Beno station nr. the Cathedral.

The Neya Porto hotel was lovely, with a beautiful and cozy design. The rooms are very comfortable, and we were lucky to have a gorgeous view of the river from our room. Additionally, the reception staff was very kind, especially Joan, who recommended amazing places to visit and great spots to eat. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

"Although the room was very beautiful and had a view of the river, on Friday and Saturday nights, you can hear noise from a nearby nightclub in the room. If you decide to stay at the hotel, I would recommend choosing a room that is not close to the nightclub because the hotel is truly worth it."

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The property itself is beautiful, offering a breathtaking view of the river that added to the charm of the stay. The highlight for me was the spa – it truly felt like a hidden gem, almost as if you were in a tranquil cave, adding an extra layer of relaxation to our visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The receptionist went above and beyond, providing us with detailed directions to local attractions that were spot-on and made our trip even better. To top it all off, the most heartwarming surprise was when they celebrated my birthday with a special treat. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the stay even more memorable. I would definitely visit this hotel again and highly recommend it to others. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish!

It is really a nice chic hotel with great service. Good location, walkable to downtown, beautiful window view from rooms and restaurant. With parking. Breakfast is so good. Big room with comfortable beds. Good value.

The carpet in corridors ( public area) looks dirty.

The whole building looks fresh and stylish, the rooms, the lobby, the halls etc. Light music in the hall and pleasant aroma were a nice touch. The room was spacious, stylish and had really gorgeous river view. We were glad to have a bath tub and a very useful massage pillow, very relaxing after long days of walking. The amount of pillows is more than enough, you can choose any to your liking.

Unfortunately, the great impression was spoiled by unpolite staff in the restautrant at breakfast and dirty floors in the room. The quality of cleaning was poor, even after I put the sign "please make the room" in the morning and came back in the evening, the floor stayed as dusty as it was. As I am allergic to dust, it was very unpleasant and unhealthy experience. The breakfast was poor as well. Almost everything was tasteless, very little vegetables (on the second morning hadn't found one at all).

We found the location to be excellent, you can explore so much of the city and walks along the river , it truly is such a good, quiet location! We will certainly recommend to others!

The only downfall we found was the poor design of the shower. The water doesn’t drain when running, so much so it pools and becomes very slippery if not drained before you leave the shower. Not to mention the towel rack is in the wrong place so you have to push the door (and water) into the room on exit if the shower, ending in a lake on the floor! It wasn’t a major issue for us, but both my husband I commented on how dangerous it could be for others.

The location was beautiful, right across from the water and close to city center. The room was very clean and the staff was accommodating to our needs. Beautiful location with accommodating staff. We initially got a room with two separate beds and we asked the front desk if it would be possible to get a room with one queen bed and they immediately had housekeeping come to our room to make the bed into one bed instead of two separate beds.

There was an additional €20 a night for parking, which is a bit expensive but it was convenient that the hotel has their own parking garage.

Room was great, with a massive picture window two storeys high overlooking the river. Dinner in the Restaurant was very good and the bar on the top floor was a great location. The extras that came with the room - port, pastries, dried fruit/nuts - were a really special touch. Reception and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good, a 15 minute walk along the river back to the main river-side area

Only real negative was the gym. The treadmill was unusable because its belt slipped at any speed and the multigym was out of order.

It was pretty nice room with a nice view on the river, 20 minutes from the city centre by walking, comfortable bed and pillows, good isolated from the noise for the sleep, beatiful roof top bar with the great view on the night city

It was surprise to know that we have 20% discount to order the lunch or dinner on the third day of being here, but no one on the reception told that to us. So, maybe this information will be useful for you
