The hotel was lovely, staff were all really nice, everything was clean, comfortable and easy to access. They were very helpful with storing my luggage when I arrived early as well. The location was perfect for the congress I attended in the super bock arena, and for going into the central city, but not too central so it was still very peaceful for those of us that need to work.

My one little qualm was the shower water pressure (although might just be the shower head needing an update), but it was still perfectly manageable.

The hotel was nice and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room ticked all the boxes with all the facilities you would expect. The room was cleaned regularly and even the cleaning staff were very friendly.

The hotel was a little walk away form the centre, after walking around Porto and up the hill, you still needed an extra 10 minutes to get back to the hotel, not a big deal, but if you have mobility issues you need to be aware.

Beautiful traditional building with well equipped, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were exceptionally helpful with parking, lugging ridiculously heavy bags upstairs, sightseeing advice and coping brilliantly with our shameful lack of Portuguese language! Perfect location to explore the rest of Porto from.

There was traffic and pedestrian noise as we had expected from a centrally located hotel. This did not bother us but might some who prefer quiet.

The room was perfect with a balcony view. It was very clean, with excellent facilities and spotless white decor.

Everyone mentioned the door issue — that you need to ring the bell. Also, note that if you want to go out at 6 AM, you should inform them in advance. When I tried to leave at 6 AM, the door was closed. The next day, I asked them to keep it open because we had to check out at 6.

My husband had his passport stolen just as we arrived in Porto. The staff at Lusitana hotel were all wonderfully kind and helpful. The room was always spotless and comfortable , the location was good. The caring friendly attitude of all the staff is what makes this hotel so special.

Very nice 2x night stay. Twin room on top floor was of good size with very clean ensuite. All advertised room extras were as stated. Hotel has a nice little garden/patio with a covered seating area. Cafes restaurants nearby and a 10min walk to the start of the old city. 20mins to riverside. Staff were very helpful and pleasant to talk with. Early drop off of baggage before checkin time was appreciated.

The front door was locked very early in the evening, so in order to get in we had to buzz and wait for someone to open. Likewise, it was locked from the inside, so in the morning we couldn't get out. Slightly nerve racking.

The owners helped with carrying our luggage to our room, which was very helpful! We were given a map of Porto and recommendations. The room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. We loved that there was a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. We had a view of the garden which was nice. We loved our stay here.

The hotel was incredibly clean (bathroom, bedroom, and community areas). The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were also very helpful with tips and special requests. The bed was very comfortable. The location is very central. You can walk to most of the city highlights within 15-20 minutes.

The isolation of the walls in between bedrooms isn't great. You can listen to minimal sounds of the adjacent bedrooms/toilets.

No elevator. Walking up stairs to the third floor was a bit too much I found hotel a bit far from the main attractions
