The room was very nice and everything is new and modern

There was a miscommunication from the staff on our first day about the breakfast, they have mentioned that the breakfast was not included in my reservation and that I should pay per day, we decided not to eat at the hotel, but on the last day they have charged the breakfast for every single day that we did not enjoyed, so I was a bit disappointed.

Beautiful new hotel in and old world space. Beautiful breakfast room and comfortable bedroom overlooking the pool. Good shower!!

It would be nice to have the drinking water bottle replaced when empty.

We really loved our stay here. I nearly cancelled when I oddly struggled to guarantee a double bed in our room in a hotel! So glad I didn’t, it’s such a beautiful building - an unexpected inner sanctum on the walk from the train station in the rain. Staff were all extremely helpful and accommodating during our stay. We had a delicious desert and drinks in the stunning dining room one evening - very relaxing. It was a short walk into the centre. We got an Uber from Vila Nova de Gaia one night which was very reasonably priced too. It was a bit chilly to use the pool unfortunately - will definitely come back to try it out!

Beautiful hotel with all the amenities you could want. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. There are several places to relax or sit with a drink, both inside and out. The location is perfect and walkable to restaurants, cafes, shopping, etc. (uphill of course). The restaurant food was exquisite and reasonably priced for the surroundings. I highly recommend this hotel and would return here again. We stayed 5 nights in room 3306. Great view. Hotel has an elevator.

A mix of historical and contemporary with the new build bedrooms off the street so no traffic noise, only the seagulls if you sleep with the veranda door open! Within walking distance of tourist sites. Meals in a very lovely dining room, we had a good dinner there too, strangely underused when we were there, less expensive and better than the restaurant down the road. Decorated with style.

Bedrooms: pillows were bulky and uncomfortable. Instant coffee sachets and tea on offer in the rooms, this standard of hotel should have nespresso type machines in the rooms. Water bottle should be refilled every morning without asking.

One Shot Palacio Cedofeita was a wonderful hotel - they have restored some truly incredible traditional buildings from a state of disrepair into beautiful and high-end hotel facilities. Our room was large, quiet and very comfortable, with an excellent bathroom, a large comfy bed and an area to sit as well as lots of natural light and a balcony. The hotel go to great lengths to add little touches to your stay. We didn't use the pool because the weather was terrible, but it looked very inviting for sunny days! The hotel's bar was a great place to have a quiet drink before going out for dinner or night cap before bed. The staff were very very friendly, extremely helpful, and spoke great English which is always appreciated for English speaking tourists. The residential area where this hotel is based is very quiet in the evening and we didn't hear any noise from other rooms or guests. This is already a fantastic hotel but what makes it even better is the location - you are a 10 minute walk from major sights and (importantly for our stay) lots of the highest rated restaurants and bars in Porto, as well as great clothes shops and good coffee. We felt One Shot Palacio Cedofeita was excellent value for money. Next time we visit Porto we won't look anywhere else, we will book here again (and hopefully use the pool!).

The wardrobe space is slightly small, but only if you need to stay for a week or more. Otherwise, faultless.

I like the vibe of a hotel room a lot. The staff was friendly and the dinning room is super cute. It was clean and for the price, we thought it was a good deal. We didn’t have breakfast here but the food for dinner was very good. I also thoroughly enjoyed that it was a quiet property that was very well decorated and put together.

It was unfortunate that the sauna wasn’t working and we were left waiting for it to work when we were told it was turned on. The hotel room itself felt a little icky with the giant rug in our room if we’re being honest (might just be me being picky). The room also did not get that cold at night (we put it all the way down). I also think this was because one of the vents wasn't working (I could tell because it was sooo dusty which really grossed me out) It also might be a bit fat from “downtown” and the water in Porto

Nicely renovated

Horrible experience with a person at the front desk. Our shower didn’t work. She told us that we didn’t know how to use shower. Then said she sent someone in to fix it and there was no issue. When we asked again the facilities man actually admitted it was broken when he came to our room. Breakfast ran out of food constantly and took a while to get it replaced. Staff at breakfast very busy but hotel manager just sat down and ate food and didn’t help her staff. The manager of the front desk was the best member of staff but I was not able to catch his name. Lots of issues this hotel needs to work out. Especially for what they charge.

Beautifully restored building, the dining area is spectacular as was all the food we had in the hotel. Loved the tiles which are in different places visible to the guests. Outside area for drinks or just relaxing are very attractive. Staff were so friendly, could not have been more helpful

The new wooden staircase from the bar to the lower floor looks dangerous and we saw one male guest almost fall down. Luckily these stairs do not need to be used as there is a lift or different access points to the lower floor. It would be helpful to have an information book for guests about the facilities in the hotel, including the history of the building. We didn't have one in our room and didn't realise we could have had room service on the one o casino it would have been useful for example. But this in. No way spoilt out stay.
