In addition to the unique and beautiful architecture of the hotel itself, the staff's personal touches exceeded my expectations. For example, the staff's homemade granola and yogurt were delicious, and it didn't take long before my cafe latte was ready for me when I arrived for breakfast! Every restaurant recommendation in Porto was outstanding. And a list of recommendations for things to do in Lisbon was a very helpful parting gift. Thank you so much for a memorable trip.

The hotel is just so charming and so beautiful-the architecture is bold & colorful and there is so much attention to detail. From the lounge areas, to the outside courtyard to the pool and dining area. The staff is very helpful and so welcoming! Sara stood out going above & beyond making recommendations on where to go in Porto & made my stay so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back when I’m next visiting!

This is a boutique hotel, and one of the finest you will find. The staff was always friendly, very accomodating. This hotel is very spacious in the common areas, ample space, chairs, tables, sofas to just lounge and hang out with a beer, wine, cocktails, read. There are 2-3 outside spaces to just hang out and look at their garden, poor, etc. As I told the staff, this place is paradise in a box. They only have a selected breakfast, no lunch, no dinner. Would I book this hotel again? Oh you betcha!

My husband and I visited. The room we were assigned was small like a studio, which we found too small for our needs but made do. I have to assume other sized rooms are available; we essentially lived out of our suitcases the entire time because space was cramped, but doable. Outside of the smallness of the room we were assigned to, that is about the only con with our entire week visit there, all else was wonderful, delightful, fun and enjoyable.

We stayed at one of the two bedroom apartments. The apartment is located across the road from the reception with pool and breakfast area. The apartment and hotel are beautifully designed! The apartment is very spacious and comfortable with two bathrooms, a kitchen with all amenities, and a balcony to relax. The hotel serves a delicious breakfast with a wide range of freshly made dishes and pastries which we enjoyed on the green lush garden terrace, for 22 euros. The hotel is located in a quieter area, a little outside the busy touristy city center. We did everything on foot though, in just a 15 minute walk, you can reach the Douro river.

Although the beds were comfortable, they were on the small side. We were three girl friends, but I can imagine if you are on the taller side, you would not fit.

- Great property, you can see someone who really thought the structure and the decoration. - The location is great about 12 minute walk to the center, supermarket and a couple local bakeries are closer - The Staff was LOVELY, a wonderful group of people work here The only feedback we have is that for the residents of the private villa, as it is private, maybe during the duration of the stay the access to the garden should be limited. There is a little art gallery and when we woke up on Sunday we suddenly saw a big group in the garden so close our living space. And it was uncomfortable when the tourist group wants to take photos while we are in front of the house. As women we pick a more private option to have privacy, not share a villa with a pool with a group of strangers

I loved absolutely everything about the place! The staff are phenomenal, shoutout to Roberto, who was incredible and extremely helpful. I arrived on the day that Portugal had lost power, and there was no electricity or internet. It was a harrowing experience, but arriving at the hotel made things a whole lot better. The swimming pool is phenomenal, and the lounge areas across are fab. The entire team that looks after guests deserves a huge shout-out. Breakfast was 10/10 and the way one is made to feel...incredible. I will come back to Porto and stay here again. Obrigado!

Nothing that I didn't like!

The place is wonderful. A great design, in the room, the common spaces, the garden, everything is wonderfully designed with beauty, comfort and exceptionality in mind. The lettering (text) on the ceiling, the combination of the materials. The ground space is very open even if compartmented with glass walls and invites to linger and sit. I did not try the pool as it was winter, but it sure looked very enjoyable otherwise. The room was very comfortable and had everything I could have needed. But above all, the staff is fantastic and they make you feel entirely at home.

A wonderful property not too far from all the sites of Porto. The staff went out of their way to ensure you were happy and the whole vibe was perfect! The place was so quirky and unique with interesting details to keep discovering. The little garden with a pool was just what you needed after being out in the sun. Breakfast was incredible with so much choice, as much as possible homemade and the eggs cooked freshly however you choose- and all served with a smile and a friendly word. You really felt like the staff cared about you.

Slow drain of shower (minor detail) and mini fridge didn’t cool (minor)

Well located near a tram stop (direct from the airport); breakfast was amazing with lots of homemade produce; our room was quiet and well laid out and had everything we needed for our stay. The building is very funky and in a quiet and safe part of town. The staff gave excellent recommendations for dinner and spent a lot of time with us planning out our itinerary and giving us local tips which we appreciated.

Room was a bit small for the price we paid and we found the fact that you need to ring a doorbell to get into the building each time a bit annoying as a lot of the time there was no one on reception so we had to wait for someone to arrive. Hopefully in the future they will change this process but overall we had a fantastic stay!
