Antonio and Paula were extremely helpful and friendly, with a beautiful dog who occasionally made an appearance. Paula greeted us on arrival with a glass of port while she marked a map with lots of info and recommendations. A special shout out to the lovely Eduardo (I think that was his name) who always greeted us with a smile at breakfast. Buffet breakfast was good, nice selection of bread and warm rolls, cheese, ham, cereal, jams and a different choice of cake each morning. Our room was a good size with plenty of hangers and space to store things. It was great to have a small kitchen area and a safe in the room. The bathroom was very clean and nicely decorated. For the price this was exceptional. It's a very thoughtfully restored old house which we were impressed with as soon as we entered.

This may be just our issue, but we found the pillows and matress a bit hard. We probably should have asked about replacement pillows, but we didn't, so partly our fault.

The house was amazing and the decor was very artsy! The rooms were clean. The bathroom was nice but had a clear glass door. The breakfast was good - loved the different juices. They even brought me a gluten-free roll.

Although we had informed them when we would be there, we felt they weren't quite prepared for us. There were some communication difficulties that made our arrival less than smooth. Entry access, room access, and toilet paper were issues initially, but all were resolved.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—very well connected and within walking distance to most major attractions, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. The place itself is super clean and beautifully designed, with a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. A special mention to Antonio, who was extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay—we felt truly welcome from the moment we arrived. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a very pleasant stay. Very quiet room. The staff was very helpful and nice. It's a well restored building and the inside is very well decorated and full of character. The room was simple but comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom modern and shower worked perfectly. Breakfast a continental. The location is about 5 minutes walk from the underground Casa da Música witch was perfect for me.

It's not really a "don't like" but I would love to have some options of eggs, ham and tomato for breakfast. But it was still very tasty. The Porto city in general at the time I'm writing this is under heavy construction due to the creation of another underground line. If you travel by car don't plan on driving around the city.

There is nothing not to like about this place. It is tastefully decorated and has a relaxed calm ambience The owners are genuine, charming and very helpful The beds are of a very good size , especially appreciated by my “larger” partner Breakfast was excellent, nicely presented and good quality It was very easy to get around Porto from here and we ate locally at night being oldies. Restaurants were good though we were slightly overwhelmed by portion size

The floors are wooden and beautiful Unfortunately for 2 mornings the occupant/s of the room above started the day or ended it around 6 am with associated floor noise I expect we were just unlucky

Susanna and Antonio were perfect hosts! Friendly, kind and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We went on a cycling tour so had to assemble bikes at their guest house and they couldn't have been more helpful to us. Communication was prompt and thorough. really I couldn't rate them more highly!! Thorough recommend Porto Music Guest house.

Every one at Porto Music was very friendly helpful and welcoming. The location is amazing, the building is gorgeous and the room is perfect. My room had a well-equipped kitchenette and there is an italian shower. Breakfast is delicious. The house is very close to Casa da Música subway and there are many bus lines close by.

Perfectly and conveniently located! Extremely clean, and beautifully decorated! Outstanding, helpful, and accommodating staff (Antonio e Susana).They allowed us to check in earlier and had breakfast ready for our 5:30am departure. They provided us with a map and detailed explanation of places to visit, to eat, and means of transportation. We wanted to attend a Music House symphony - the tickets were waiting for us upon our arrival. We highly recommend Porto Music Guest House.

The owners were extremely kind and offered to help anytime they saw me. They were very fluent in English - which was wonderful, as I don't really know any Portuguese. One of the two sat with me and went through a map and gave amazing recommendations for restaurants, shopping, views, really whatever came up. The room felt very private. The breakfast had a wide range of foods, especially considering how few rooms there are.

A great location and a property of character. A helpful and informative greeting. The room was well appointed but we found the bed a little uncomfortable.

The breakfast was good but the buffet selection was small and I felt rationed. For example items like bread and the two rolls were put out and individually replenished as they were taken.
