Large selection at breakfast & was generally all very tasty. Dining hall had loads of space so didn't feel crowded or like you had to rush Everything was very clean, super happy with the condition of our room & balcony. Room was spacious with a good amount of storage space and plug sockets. Having a "hotel TV channel" with information about the hotel (&the euros) was really helpful! Hotel were able to order a taxi for us which was great as we didn't know local companies. The pool area was really pleasant to sit in. We didn't go in the pool as we're non-smokers but was a lovely space to be in. Liked that the hotel has a "no reserving deck chairs" policy which people mostly kept to. Not sure what it's like when it hits really busy season but hotel was generally quiet & peaceful. Location was excellent - right at the beach, in between the busier and quieter ends of the town meaning we could easily choose what kind of atmosphere we wanted! Blüüma beach club was super handy! Staff were friendly and always ready to help - especially the dining staff Although we don't have kids, seemed like a really family-friendly hotel. Hotel did a great job making it a comfortable & inclusive space - didn't feel out of place without kids.

There was actually very little we didn't like - these are small things: Although staff were generally friendly & helpful, there were sometimes times we felt like we were being a nuisance by asking for help or like we'd asked a silly question. It was our first time in Spain so we were probably asking things that "everyone knows" The "Arena" restaurant was very cold & expensive. The annoying music on one of the game machines!

The room it’s big and stunning ; as in the pictures; with a beautiful bed and comfortable mattress. Great big balcony with a pool view . Breakfast great. Many choices and spacious place to take the breakfast. Not a second I felt to be rushed. I enjoyed in calm and peace of mind breakfast time. The staff was kind. We also found a small treat for the children in the bathroom (a small toy bath fish) that was very appreciated. A play room for kids that can be better cured and to could have more toys/activities but we like it.

The schedule of the entertainment program wasn’t indeed respected but we managed to do some nice activities as face painting, drawing and toy car walk for the children with the nice lady assigned to this activities

1. Kids club was terrific. The girls were friendly and you felt comfortable leaving your children with them. 2. Staff in general were lovely especially at the pool bar. 3. Room was bright and spacious and cleaning was to a high standard. 4. Super selection at breakfast. Something for everyone.

1. Didn't realize that pool towels came with our accommodation so we had brought them with us. 2. Gym could possibly have more weight lifting equipment in it in the absence of free lifting weights. 3. We didn't realize you could rent bicycles until the day we were leaving as were never told this on arrival/website.

Room - good size, clean and bright. Large balcony with two chairs and table. Fantastic shower! Dining room - lovely and bright and kept immaculately clean. Staff were very friendly and made sure everything was tidy. Food - breakfast and dinner on couple of nights. Nice selection and all food dishes were kept clean and refreshed. Reception - area was bright, clean and modern. We stayed in April during low season so not many people about.

Pool area - this was a let down. The hotel was quiet but the little tables next to sunbeds were very dirty. One afternoon we decided to sit around the pool for an hour and I had to ask the pool attendant for a cloth and spray so I could wipe ours down as it was so dirty and I didn't want to put my drinks down. I was very surprised that the inside of the hotel was immaculately clean yet the pool area was so dirty. The pool attendant sat in the corner and I felt he could have walked around and just wiped over the tables for guests. This was a let down.

Top floor room with large terrace with views over the port was excellent. Sun all day so no need to visit the pool. Breakfast was great quality and plentiful. Staff helpful at all times so no drama. 15 minute transfer via taxi from Reus was goo value at €33.00. Large comfortable bed with air conditioning for the room also. Can’t fault the week we had here and will definitely be back

Was surprised to find a fee payable to use the room safe, seems a bit 1990’s ! First time in a while this has happened.

The hotel is eco friendly. The bedrooms are good size and layout with comfortable large double bed. The showers are excellent Buffet breakfast with good variety and staff are careful with gluten free options. There is a lovely swimming pool with lifeguard on duty and good system of towel availability and return The location is across the road for the promenade and beach and close to many restaurants and shops. Above all the staff are exceptionally pleasant and helpful. We plan to return.

The snack bar by the pool didn't have any gluten free option. The restaurant to the front of the hotel was quiet, perhaps because it is set back further from the road than others in the area. There was entertainment on one night but poorly attended. Some advertising or promotion could help.

A great stay. Took my kids and their partners for a mini break. Hotel was absolutely fantastic. Rooms and all facilities spot on. Pool was lovely and a great secluded location. Didnt book inclusive but we did use the Restaurant for breakfasts most mornings. Very good value and so much choice too. The staff were so friendly and helpful ordering taxis and when an medical issue arose they were able to point us immediately in the right direction. Very professional.

The Air con control panel in the room was a bit fiddly, didnt bother asking anyone to explain it to us as we went in April so didnt need it.

Myself and my family stayed for 4 nights early October. It was my first time staying in the Blaumar Hotel despite being in Salou several times. It was a great location, 2-3 mins walk from main shopping/Bar/restaurant area and was directly across the road from the beach. The hotel itself was newly renovated and was excellent quality. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We chose bed and breakfast and the choice for breakfast was fantastic. I’d highly recommend a stay in the Blaumar Hotel. We’ll definitely be back.

An odd time throughout our stay we got a bad smell in out bathroom.

The Blaumar is placed centrally in Salou just a few mins walk from the beach. We stopped here on route from France to Spain and parked our car in their very safe spacious car park at 15 euros a day. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The bedroom was huge and extremely comfortable with an incredible power shower! Both breakfast and the buffet dinner were excellent with a good choice of foods. Everything was very fresh and plentiful. The wine waitress was very helpful as well. The spa is small but very clean and it added a bonus relaxation to our stay. We didn’t use the outdoor pool but it looked lovely and clean as well. The evening entertainer was an Elvis impersonator had a superb voice and was great fun to listen to in the bar lounge. He even managed to get several of us up dancing!
