The location and quiet was wonderful. If I'm ever in St. Louis again overnight, I will definitely be staying here again! The hotel room was cozy, the only reason I wasn't extremely impressed is that it seems the matress might be wearing a bit thin - it was really obvious to feel the springs.

I could feel the matress springs (though I might just be picky - my matress at home doesn't have springs, but I know the how's bed isn't mine). One of the custodial staff also opened and walked into the room before I left and was in the bathroom by mistake, but apologized and left as soon as she realized the room was still occupied.

Breakfast was very good. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had problems with the key card lock for the room and with the TV. They immediately left the front desk a took care of it! Great location and very comfortable. This place would have to rank in the all time top 10 of places stayed in our travels. No complaints and you know there's always something. Not here. One last thing. They checked use in earlier then the stated 3 PM check in time. We have stayed at places that tried to charge you extra to check in early. Lastly, our room was situated right next to the main elevator. From past experience that's not good. Surprisingly it was not a issue with sound nor was the room above us. Our room/stay was quiet, comfortable, clean and has a great location with free easy parking. All was a great experience!

This hotel is excellent for all things! Welcoming, friendliness, convenience, cleanliness, room layout, breakfast... This is definitely our go to hotel when in St. Louis again! The team from the front desk that helped us... Kay, Tiffany, Marsha, Sammie to Bev at breakfast... This team was always kind and friendly and did their jobs with excellence! Any worker that we talked to was always ready to help! And then talk about the perfect location, just step out the front doors and walk along the cobblestone streets loaded with shops and restaurants!! Thank you Country Inn and Suites in St. Charles for taking such amazing care of all 15 or so that stayed with you! You all are top notch!

The only thing missing was a place to enjoy sitting as a group outside but you can walk out the front doors and enjoy the streets of Old Town St. Charles with patio areas galore!!

We have stayed at this location several times in the past and have always enjoyed it. I love the location and the room is very roomy and comfortable.

The only issue this stay was the air conditioning was not working at full capacity. We were told at check in. I understand things happen, but this issue had been going on for a couple of days. I would have liked to have been informed prior to our arrival. We were not uncomfortable at all, I would have just appreciated more communication prior to arrival. We were also informed there were no fans available. We actually went out and purchased one, but did not need it. This issue will not keep us from staying here again.

I agree with all the good reviews! I don't know why anyone wouldn't be happy here. It's very nice, close to everything, the breakfast was great (loved the waffle batter they use), love the atmosphere and the asthetic of the building, liked being able to park underneath in the parking garage, and loved how clean it felt and looked! One review I had read said it was "luxury on a budget". I totally agree. The price I paid was less than other hotels I've stayed in that were not as nice. :)

The bed was just ok for us, but prolly many ppl would like the feel of it.

It was a really nicely decorated. Was not expecting it to look the way it did on the outside. Parking so easy too. Right next door to a restaurant we just walked right over for lunch. Room was very comfortable. Desk staff was excellent as well!

Pool was a little worn down and the pool towels were tiny Our little guy likes milk at bedtime and there was not any for sale in the lobby - just juice n soft drinks etc. Would be nice if they stocked some little bottles of Prairie Farms or something

Quiet, clean and spacious with a good breakfast

The elevator is slow but I’m not complaining.

We went for a wedding - hotel was right next door to wedding venue, and across street from the reception hall. We were able to walk to both. Fresh warm cookies at the front desk was nice; wonderful coffee (decaf for me!) and creamer, available whenever I wanted it. The young man who worked the breakfast was so nice, had a great positive attitude and was so helpful.

I felt that the price was higher than it should be - probably $50 - $75. The breakfast was just OK - would have liked to see biscuits & gravy also, or donuts. The gym could have been larger with more equipment - since it was raining I could not walk outside. I felt crowded/cramped.

It was within walking distance of old St. Charles, but was on a quiet end of Main Street. The room was quiet and comfortable. Justin, the front desk representative, was welcoming and gave us a choice of floors. The cookies were a nice treat for my husband.

As someone with celiacs disease, the breakfast selections are limited and it can be difficult to know what breakfast selections are gluten free and free of cross contamination. These are issues no matter where I stay, so it is more of a mention than a big complaint.

I appreciated the young man who checked us in. He was new to the job and new in town.

There is a speed bump going into the garage that was too high for my car. My car sits very, very low and when I see a speed bump I can take appropriate measures. If yours was painted yellow, for instance, I would be less likely to damage my car. The second time I entered the garage was better because I knew to look for a low spot on the speed bump.
