Staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodating. My room was wonderful with an incredible view. It was spotless, comfy bed, great shower. A fridge that worked and the garden outside with ponds was absolutely lovely. Very tranquil place to sit at night and the road is not busy. Also, I went for a walk the next day to the Botanical Gardens on a hot day and they were most obliging in offering me a shower in the gym and pool area which was great and needed before I went to the airport.

If there was one criticism, it is that the music that is played in the pool area on the 12th floor is very bad. It is quite unpleasant pop and not relaxing at all. Also, the lighting is very bright at night, so overall it is not a pleasant space to spend much time. If they addressed these what I would call issues, then they might provide a nicer experience. But this is why the downstairs outdoor area is such a winner - quiet and dim lights.

Location and good value for money.

I came with early morning long haul flight and the room wasn’t ready which is understandable. However the reception staff gave me conflicting information and offers. One staff said room is available with early check in fee with fair price but the other staff countermanded no room available except upgrade plus early check in fee which is more expensive. As owner of hotels I can understand these upselling technique and I think it’s quite common practice in Singapore. I did not take the offer and my room ready at check in time.

I don’t often write reviews, but my experience at Quincy Hotel was so outstanding that I feel compelled to share my deepest appreciation. From the moment I arrived, I was genuinely impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness of every single staff member. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, the restaurant team, or even passing staff in the hallways — everyone greeted me with a sincere smile and made me feel incredibly welcome and cared for. One person I must especially mention is Yingzi. Her service was nothing short of impeccable — thoughtful, attentive, and truly heartfelt. She anticipated my needs before I even had to ask, and her genuine kindness made a lasting impression. Thanks to her, I felt not just like a guest, but like a valued friend. She is a shining example of world-class hospitality. The hotel itself was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with excellent facilities and a convenient location. But what truly set my experience apart was the people. The service I received at Quincy Hotel wasn’t just good — it was exceptional, the kind that stays with you long after the trip is over. Thank you to Yingzi and the entire team at Quincy Hotel. You made my stay unforgettable. I will absolutely return the next time I’m in Singapore!

The location of the hotel was very good. It's near Orchard Road but on a quiet street. The room was large and comfortable. The ensuite had a bath and separate shower. There was a glass screen so could be seen from the room, but if that's too public you can pull a screen down! Toiletries were included. The price included breakfast and also 2 free drinks and canapes every evening. There was also free tea, coffee and soft drinks on the 1st floor. The pool on the 12th floor is a lovely way to cool down after a humid day sightseeing. There's also a gym but we didn't use it. The staff were very friendly and obliging. We arrived very late the first day so missed the canapes and drinks but we had a very late flight on our last night do they let us have them then instead. They also conjured up some vegetarian canapes for us in place of the meat and fish based ones. And we were able to have a shower before we left.

The a la carte breakfast was a bit disorganised but the hotel is planning to revert back to buffet style breakfasts which should improve this process.

Very professional staff, treating each guest like a VIP. Staff were also friendly, which adds a lot of comfort to weary travelers. It was also very quiet. The room had black out electric blinds, and the view was great at night when they were open.

An extremely minor negative was that most of the western outlets were loose and adaptor plugs (which usually have a little bit of weight) fall out. I solved this by getting an adaptor for the Singaporean plugs. This may show one benefit of their plug configuration versus those in most of America - with bigger prongs the Singapore plugs have extra support. I could have asked at the desk for an adaptor but they seemed so nice I went and got one myself.

Would benefit from having a bar . Wider breakfast options would be beneficial.

We stayed here 3 nights. Great facilities, although I couldn’t get the sauna hot, we had great night time swims in the pool and steam room session before bed. The 24 hr complimentary coffee, tea, soft drink and nibbles were a real bonus. Really clean room, big comfortable bed and pillows. Very small walking distance to some of the best shopping centres and high end stores you’ll visit. The staff were all so friendly but we were especially looked after by Cheryl and Fatin. Wow! These ladies were so good! They organised our taxis and helped booked our activities and gave us such great advice with their local insight. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they really looked after us! I really couldn’t fault the Quincy, great value for money for a quality Singapore hotel. Very personable whilst very professional.

Comfortable bed and pillows, breakfast until 3.00pm and cocktails and snacks from 20.00 pm. Also close to Orchard Rd

This hotel caters well to westerners guests as we like to sleep in and just relax while traveling and staying in hotels. Great location, in a quiet neighborhood but not too far from all the happenings, just a few minutes walking distance from Paragon Mall and all the shopping/ food places as well as the hospital (Mount Elizabeth) just incase you need it. Love the breakfast until 3pm, it’s the 1st hotel we stayed in that has this, every hotel should be doing this. Love the snacks area and daily Happy Hour 6-8. Bed was comfortable, bathroom nicely opens to the bedroom makes the room seems larger. They did a pretty decoration for our honeymoon. Friendly staff throughout hotel from check in counter to restaurant to housekeeping. We like the rooftop pool with a nice view if it’s not too crowded. Steam room and sauna a plus, just wish it opens 24/7. Overall, great experience.

We wish this hotel has room service or a restaurant that opens for dinner and a bar since we got hungry around 9pm and couldn’t find food. Also, the gym could use more weights and better equipments as we work out everyday and it was hard to do workout with all the useless equipments there.

1. Excellent service by Qurator Cheng Yao who’s professional and helpful, prompt to my queries on this app, and gave me a surprise card and gift for my work anniversary stay. 2. Good room amenities such as a bathtub, 55inch smart TV, free heavenly welcome ice-cream, chips and Nespresso coffee in room. 3. Convenient location which is quiet and yet very near to Orchard Road. 4. Decent gym size and sauna room though it’s not a big hotel.

1. Air-con is loud at night affecting sleep. 2. Bathtub faces a window which affects privacy. Tho the blind could be drawn, I could see the buildings opposite sideways. 3. Narrow space between the bed and the mirrored panel beside the shower room. I almost banged against it twice when I woke up in the middle of the night to go toilet. (Last pix below)
