Staff was always polite. They had security at various locations on the property. The staff was quick to attend to customers, taking the initiative to make sure they're guests were ok.

When I went to breakfast and was going to pay; the waiter seemed a little annoyed that I wanted to pay with my card instead of charging to the room. But that also could have been because they were really busy. The only thing I didn't like was some of the staff made the assumption that guests were going to put charges to the room. I think guests should be asked how they would like to pay instead of assuming everyone wants to make a purchase that way. That wouldn't prevent me from visiting again, it's just something to would be aware of next time I stay.

Was not made aware clearly about the meal plan including or excluding breakfast. I selected with breakfast and confirmed my booking. Later was disappointed to be charged for breakfast. They force the customers wear a band for the number of days stay and this cannot be removed. I did not like this to be worn for three days and also take bath, go into swimming pool with it etc. did not feel nice and hygiene. We got checked in very late around after ten PM and none of the restaurants would accept a delayed dinner Very pricy and not value for money given an old property and tired looking restaurants, carpets etc.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The first time was with my bf 7 years ago. I took my son this time. The rooms are a little ran down. The bathroom door kept sliding open too. The pool needed to be cleaned more and my sheet on my bed had something on it. I didn't realize it until after I slept in the bed. Regarding the staff. The hotel staff was awesome. The Italian restaurant accommodated to me. The one thing I didn't like is how much activity as happening constantly at the hotel. There were multiple convention's and commercials being shot all at the same time..It was too many people all the time. It made it not relaxing because of the amount of people everywhere. You would come downstairs off the elevator and it was loud and people everywhere. It was like whoa!! Every day all day because of it. Also the type of the people from the conventions were too much. They were extremely loud. I most definitely will stay again because I do like the hotel. I just hope they update a little in the future and not have as much going on at once. So it's more relaxing for the customers who are there to relax on vacation.

Good food and drink near the pool. Good breakfast buffet. Staff was helpful. Location was good with beach front and about 11 miles to Old San Juan. Tours picked up at this hotel and so did the cruise line.

Room had terrible view of a roof top. Lot to pay for that.

Hotel was very convenient to the airport. Easy walk to downtown San Juan for shopping and restaurants. Beach was nice. Ice cream shop was good but service was slow

The week we went was winter break for NYC schools so the pool and beach were crowded. It was difficult to get a chair unless you went down early to reserve a chair with towels. The pool needs maintenance and some of the tiles are falling off/missing. Food at the hotel was ok.

The guy by the entrance to the pool area, this guy has a really bad day or attitude, but I don't need to pay the consequences and valet parking guy by 4 am wasn't in place to attend my call or text and when I was outside he was like what ?? I'm so disappointed other on that good

The breakfast was so good! Love the full buffet. Loved the lobby bar as well

Upon checkout our bags were left outside with an employee . He claimed that this is where we were to keep them and that they do not keep them inside. He assured us that he would be standing there the entire time. We left to grab a quick bite and when we returned about 30 minutes later to get our taxi, he was nowhere in site! There was nobody there for approx 15 minutes, just around 10 suitcases sitting right next to the curb unattended. We were not happy! Anyone could just drive up through that driveway and take anything they wanted. This needs to change immediately.

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Pool was very nice. Check in and check out was very smooth. The garden area with wildlife was a welcome touch. The ice cream shop was a gem - food was great, staff warm & friendly.

Rooms were outdated - no Queen sized beds, clock, or drinking glasses. Charged a 5-star rate for a 3-star room. Pool chairs - towels were placed on most chairs by 8-8:30 AM, yet the chairs were unoccupied for most of the day. Need some type of monitoring system. Beach not nearly as advertised - too much seaweed; hidden objects in the water.
