The hotel is located in the center of the tourist spot. The staff is very friendly. It's an old building but surprisingly in excellent condition. And the most satisfying one is the food. Honestly, i got so full at breakfast cause the deliciousness makes me taking another plate. If I come back to Singapore for another trip, I'll definitely stay here.

This is the only hotel that doesn't provide slippers in my experience so far. 😄 Maybe you can add it to the amenities next time. But overall i really recommended this hotel.

Breakfast was very good. Everyday, there were about four to five dishes different from the previous ones served. Plenty of choices. Room is spacious. We got family room and our bed was massive. King plus? 4-5 people can fit in comfortably. My son’s bed is double bed, maybe. Because the beds are big, there is only one side bed table in the middle.

No drawers. Lots of hanging space but only got 8 hangers. Good thing I brought 8 plastic hangers with me. And since no drawers, I hanged our clothes instead.

My husband and I stayed here for one night, two years ago, while passing through. We decided to stay again, with 4 adult children this time, again while passing through, as we had been here before. Location good for Bugis Markets and some great eating places. Metro station is a short walk away. Kids enjoyed the pool in the afternoon to escape the heat for a bit.

The floor in our room could have done with a wash. The place is a bit dated. All in all a comfortable stay.

On the days we wanted to swim, the pool was closed due to functions on the rooftop and the pool was a main reason we booked this place. so if youre booking it for the pool beware you may not be able to swim

WiFi would time out and you'd have to login again. Would be nice if you just stayed signed in for the duration of your stay

The location was amazing! It was hardly 5 mins walk from the Arab street and Sultan Mosque, where the food is amazing as per our taste! It never costed me more than $13 to reach Sentosa Island or Garden by the Bay, Batfront, from the hotel. The MRT was hardly 7 mins walk as well that connected us to the whole Singapore. The break fast was good and had all the eastern, local and western food.

The hotel has definitely seen its better days. The rooms need renovation big time! Our first room was changed after first night as the sink floor was collecting water. The hotel reeks of old age. Most of the day we were out so didn't matter that much for us..

Great location. Easy to get around from the hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and well maintained.

Could hear all activity in the hallways from my room. Only 1 power outlet available and not in a useful location. Room was a little tired and in need of a refresh.

Hotel was located 2 blocks from Bugis MRT and alsmost beside the Sultan Mosque and all the bars, eateries and quirky shops of Haji Lane and surrounds. The requests I made upon booking were met in full, check-in was fast and cheerful. Large, clean room, a little bit worn but nowhere near dilapidated. Beds and pillows were great. The property has a gym and pool, while I didn't use either it's good to keep in mind.

Not the hotel's fault, but a massive construction site across Victoria Street did keep me awake for a while. Not a lot of channel selection on TV, but I wasn't there to watch television anyway !

I had a great stay at Village Hotel Bugis by Far East in Singapore. The location is simply unbeatable – especially if you’re looking for halal food options. Zam Zam Restaurant is literally just a few steps away, and there are plenty of other eateries within walking distance, making it super convenient for delicious local meals. What I also appreciated was how central the hotel is for those driving in and out — it made my trips to Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) and Tanah Merah Golf Course smooth and hassle-free. Another plus point- parking is free. Whether you’re here for food, shopping, or golf, this hotel is such a practical and comfy choice. Highly recommend!

Perhaps can have water dispenser at each rooms floor instead of just at level 7 inside the gym .. but good thing the gym is open 24/7.

What an excellent location. Close to the historic Arab Quarter yet just a stroll to the sights of the Colonial District, the Gardens by the Bay and a superb (and large) mid-range shopping district. The hotel itself is lovely albeit getting a bit 'tired' - especially the corridors, although nothing that a bit of a spruce-up wouldn't rectify. Good size rooms, lovely staff and excellent value.

For the price? Not a lot. We chose it because of the location and were not in any way disappointed. We'd stay there again - which says it all really.
