Location is 15 min walk to old city centre

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel thanks to the excellent service and the helpful, friendly staff, who went out of their way to make the experience enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay. The location of the hotel was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. However, there are some areas for improvement. The lack of an iron in the room was inconvenient. The room lighting could use an upgrade, and adding more charging spots for devices would significantly enhance the guest experience. Overall, the warm hospitality and the attention to cleanliness make this hotel a great choice! 100%Recommended! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Brenda and Alexander made my stay at Mercure absolutely perfect! Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out — they went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and comfortable at all times. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh and tasty options. The location is also ideal, close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. Everything was clean, well-organized, and the entire team was friendly and helpful. But it was really thanks to Brenda and Alexander that my experience was so special — they are truly exceptional! Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

We choose this hotel because of the proximity with the Teatrul de Opereta. Staff was great and helpfull. Room is large, with a nice view. Breakfast very good.

There is something in that hotel that said that there is no one who manage it... Duvets are not quality tipe. In the bathroom there was no dusch-gel. And there was some interventions in the bathroom made just to be made... In the lobby there are some missing panels. If they put 4 stars on their wall, i think it will be nice to work for it... In my personal opinion, it is a nice hotel, but only for 3 stars. But the price is high.

It has a very nice restaurant in the lobby that is open until late. The breakfast buffet is good and you have a nice view of the street during breakfast by the window. The front desk staff were quite friendly and helpful.

It can get a bit noisy with traffic in the morning if your room has a window towards the main street. I didn't get any water refills after the first day. You need to buy your own water for the room if you're staying longer.

This was the best check out I have experienced out of all European hotels I have been to, thanks to the check out lady, “Marinela” at the check out stand, who sarcastically questioned me when I told her that I was checking and it was only two nights stay. Then she replied “Oh! My, just two nights at our hotel and in our beautiful city of Bucharest which is not enough for u, why don’t you stay more ??” 😀 Hahaha! I was amazed with regards to her generous offer, there was so much to do and see in Romania. Hotel was very spacious and fantastic! Air conditioning systems were working, breakfast was alright, but I suggest they include “Pancakes” in their menu, like most other European hotels. Showers and toilets were well equipped with all amenities and was clean. Good hotel to stay in.

The free apple was in bad state like the apples in the breakfast. Maybe it is winter, and hence, you get fruits that are sub-par.

The hotel is very well located - in the heart of Bucharest. City center is easily reachable - 10 Min walk to Unirii square and metro station. The room was very clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped. The people from the reception were friendly and supportive with our requests. The breakfast was very good - great variety of dishes to choose from. Great value for the money!

The room located on 9th floor, left from elevators was noisy, due to the air conditioning system of the building. Although the AC was turned off in the room, the noise came from the corridor. Maybe something can be improved in the isolation of these rooms. No issue on lower floors.

Wonderful breakfast buffet, helpful staff especially Vlad, one of the waiter. Good location and within walking distance to town and the Christmas market by the parliment building

No amenities and poor quality toilet paper. We were given a room with a connecting door to another room and it was so noisy. Wardrobe handle was broken and it was not fixed even after reporting it, had to keep wardrobe door open

+it was on top to receive a parking place exactly near the entrance +normal bed, nice pillows +2 bottles of water in room +slippers available +on weekends breakfast ends till 11 am, great! +egg-plant paste at breakfast was excellent!

-there was no black tea at breakfast area -there was no rubbish bin in room (only small in bathroom)

This hotel was beyond my expectation. I reserved a king suit room for my family of 3 persons including my son.It was further upgraded by a nice receptionist women named Clara.She was very helpfull and cooperative in any request we made. The room was spacious and comfortable with an additionsl shower and television in the bedroom. We enjoyed staying in this hotel very much. It will definitally be our hotel in our next travel to Bucharest. I would like to thank Clara for her hospitality and making our stay more enjoyable
