We had a great staying at Cantonal Hotel by Warwick. Most of the guests who stay there are business guests but we were visiting Riyadh for tourism. We liked everything: -location: right is the heart of the city with an easy walk to Kingdom Tower and shopping malls; -room: very spacious and cosy with a lovely view of Kingdom Tower (we stayed at 11th floor), beds were comfortable, tea/coffee facilities, bathroom with all amenities, complimentary bottles of water refilled everyday; -breakfast: one of the best ever, the choice was so wide that we were not able to taste everything. I loved the fresh juice especially mint with lemon and freshly baked manousheh with jebneh (cheese) - it was so delicious; -swimming pool & jacuzzi: as women we were happy to access the swimming pool (it is open for women from 10am-1pm), the water is warm and its a pleasure to swim there; -staff: staff deserves extra credits. We don't know all names but we appreciated help and hospitality from Amer from Lebanon. Amer knows what true customer services is. The bell men were very helpful, also Jahirul who was serving us during breakfast, gentleman who made manousheh. Lady who made our check out was very nice and helped with luggage storage, printing the boarding cards. Thank you to all named and anonymous persons. If we return to Riyadh this hotel will be definitely our choice.

The Cantonal is perfectly located in a quiet street, a short walk from the main road. For orientation, It’s about 5-6 minutes by foot to the Kingdom Tower. It was my first time in Riyadh and all the front desk team and concierge was amazing. My special thanks to Rania and Mona who were both professional, knowledgeable and reflected the warmth and hospitality of the Saudi people I met during my visit. Thanks to their advice and support I was able to navigate and embrace the local traditions and culture.

The gym would benefit from a refresh.

I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast staff and the porters are friendly and attentive. The hotel is based in a great central location: less than 10 minutes walk from Alinma Bank metro station and some shopping malls, plus a short taxi ride (under 30-minute drive, depending on traffic) to most places in the city - including the airport.

There is very little I did not like. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be the greeting from the front desk staff when guests first arrive at the hotel and approach them to check in. A short "Hello" or "Marhaba(n)" would be more welcoming than silently staring and match the warmth of the breakfast staff and porters.

I liked everything about it: the central but quiet location; the spacious and bright room; the rich and varied breakfast; the two restaurants, the self-service one on the ground floor and the à la carte one on the 13th floor, the latter with a spectacular view; but above all, the kindness, courtesy, helpfulness and welcome of all the staff. I'm afraid I can't remember all the staff one by one, but I'd like to give special thanks to the blonde lady at breakfast, the Lebanese gentleman in the restaurant service, the red-haired gentleman in the lobby, the gentleman who helped me with a problem with a tour booking, but especially all the staff and waiters on the floors and in all the service areas. You have made me feel at home, thank you!

If there had been a bathrobe, the score would have been 10 plus ;)

Location, cleanliness, decor

no bath tub & no facilities for women!!

The location was really good, less than 10 mins walk to the Kingdom Centre. Unfortunately I was there during Ramadan so the opening hours of many places weren’t till late in the evening. It is relatively safe to walk around the neighbourhood on your own even in the evenings. The staff were quite helpful as I complained that the description stated a bath and a shower when it turns out that a “bath” meant a “bathroom” not a bathtub! But I was offered a much bigger room, albeit still without a bathtub. Generally it was a very comfortable stay.

Staff & Location are Exceptional

Very clean hotel with modern furniture. Spacious room, and very friendly staff. Location is central in Olaya. Rooms are very clean with all needed amenities. They even have all the toiletry kits you would need in the room ranging from shaving kits, to dental, etc. Best of all, they provide you with a "pillow menu" where you can pick from over 8 different pillow types.

No dislikes. If I had to be picky maybe the AC was a bit too cold upon check in. But once I've adjusted it, it was comfortable.

Our stay at the Cantonal Hotel was exceptional. We truly felt the warmth and hospitality of the Saudis. The room was perfectly sized, the facilities were excellent, and the breakfast offered a wonderful variety and quality. The entire staff was amazing— the waiting team was polite and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Rania, the manager, was incredibly helpful, as were Mona and Ibrahim, who checked us in and out seamlessly. We also used the hotel car service, and Rajia, our driver, was excellent. Overall, we are extremely pleased with every aspect of our experience.

The place was very clean and quiet. The breakfast area had many options and the food was tasty. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially Maya at the reception. The rooms are very clean, like new, and the AC was quiet and barely noticeable. I really enjoyed my stay and will surely stay there again on my next trip.

The gym area could need an extra space, but to be fair it had enough equipment to do my routine exercise. A special thanks to the gym instructor for his assistance.
