The view from the room. Just staring into a wall. The woman who checked us in was very distant. I had to ask for every single information! I am muslim and respect the saudi culture but if she is uncomfortable with speaking to men, don't work in a Reception. The shorthaired woman was a little rude. The male Receptionists were ok but missed more "Saudi hospitality". It seems like much of the staff cared more about getting us to write good reviews than actually just being normally caring about guests. Don't know if we are coming back to this hotel.

Loved the breakfast and dinner buffet. Really felt the friendliness of the people here, both guests and staff. The staff went out of their way to help me. I lost my original review which was far more effusive. The experience we had here was positive in the extreme. As we pack now to leave the last person we spoke to an hour or two ago was a gentleman who offered us some of his wife’s birthday cake! We hadn’t even spoken we just sang along with the waiters as they arrived.

As an Irishman, my life hasn’t exactly featured many open air swims in February. I did so here in the outdoor pool, which was a little cold for me; not a huge surprise given ambient temperatures. My daughter wasn’t in the least put out so perhaps I’m getting soft with age. Other venues may have heated outdoor pools (even cooled in Summer )

The concierge staff & restaurant staff were friendly, warm & welcoming! Always so kind & helpful, we appreciated that. We had a city view from our hotel room. We enjoyed looking at the beautiful city. The breakfast & dinner buffets were exceptional! Everything was delicious, lovely ambience & there was a great variety of food. Waiters saw to our every need. The manager & staff were very bubbly and welcoming.

We had issues with our access card twice. It needed to be reprogramed. We also booked for 2 people. However, everything in our room was for 1 person only. We informed the hotel prior to booking that it will be our wedding anniversary, and no special arrangements were made.

I started my trip to Saudi Arabia in Riyadh and ended it in Riyadh. If I had known about this hotel, I would have started here. The room is very large and beautiful, and despite the windows being closed as always, the air is fresh. Quiet room, with safe and good Wi-Fi. Great location, close to restaurants and the city center. Great staff and excellent service. There was a plate of fruit in the room, as well as Saudi coffee and dates. And at the reception, there are always juices, dates and tea. Breakfast with many delicious options. Good gym and sufficient size. Congratulations.

Our stay was very nice and comfortable. The room way spacious and clean, housekeeping did an amazing job with their cleaning service. The bellmen, Mr. Raju and Mr. Ayaz were very friendly, helpful, and informative. Mr. Nader checked us in he was very friendly and welcoming. Ms. Raida in the restaurant was always smiling at us she was very nice. The breakfast was nice we had many items to choose from. Thank you for making my first visit to Riyadh a special one, ya hala wa hayakom :) .

I liked the location. The food was really good at the restaurant. The staff there were friendly. The closest is spacious.

They put me in a different room than the one I booked. I asked to change it, one person would say ok while their supervisor would say they’re fully booked. I did not appreciate the hesitation as it was time consuming. They ended up changing my room because they were NOT Fully booked. Also, the Jacuzzi needs maintenance, it was warm at best. And I wish they had a spa.

Great Location in Olaya and near Tahlia Street a walking distance from a lot of food options as well as it is in the heart of town so you can move from there to any where in Riyadh, the staff very welcoming, and they are all in all departments well trained to help and support.

because it is in the heart of Riyadh you keep hearing the cars all night no matter what floor you are in, rooms are a bit small if you ordered food you will have to eat it on the working desk, no coffee table in the room.

The location,breakfast ,the Staff Advice to everyone who reads this message, before confirming the reservation, take a screenshot because you may be booked in a different hotel ! or in the same hotel but different data and you do not have any proof of your right. I learned this with them the hard way, and do not trust mobile discounts or Genius and it’s better to call the hotel and make the reservation with them specifically in Saudi Arabia

The Barking , you have to be good driver if you have SUV

Location is great, very central. The buffet breakfast has to be experienced. Exceptional in terms of quality and selection. The Tahini and date smoothie was so good that I felt compelled to try the cinnamon and date version as well. Staff on the front desk were very helpful in chasing up a parcel delivery that hadn't arrived. Good value for money. I was made to feel welcome by everyone who worked there and would highly recommend the Joudyan Olaya.

From the moment I checked in to the moment I departed, their attention to detail and genuine hospitality were evident. Compared to other hotels in the region, Joudyan Hotel sets a new standard with its attentive and friendly team.

Traffic: While the hotel's location was an advantageous, it did come with a minor downside: traffic. Despite being well-served by roads, the surrounding area often experienced congestion. However, this was a small inconvenience in light of the hotel's many positive attributes.
