The room was small (as expected from reviews) but comfortable. I expected a more cramped experience from some reviews, but found the room reasonably sized for a single traveller. My daughter and her partner were in a double room and found it small but comfortable, though there wasn't a lot of room for their luggage. Toiletries, etc, were generous. The bed and pillows were comfy. The location was close to several train stations and Akihabara (a highlight for our group). Despite being close to transport and Akihabara, the area around the hotel was generally quiet at night. The hills to the train station were gentle and not onerous to traverse, even for me (I use a walking stick). The breakfast was perfectly reasonable, but repetitive (don't expect soy or other alternative milks, but you can get them from the conbini nearby).

On one occasion, a member of the cleaning staff walked in on me when I was naked. When she knocked, I had called out "just a minute" as I ran from the shower to put clothes on, but she either didn't hear or didn't understand. Though I screamed and tried to grab a covering when she opened the door, she stayed at the door, with it open, to try to talk to me about coming back later in the day to make up the room. This was a very intrusive and uncomfortable experience. However, this could easily be solved with a bit more training and sensitivity to guest boundaries.

Around 10 minutes to 3 different stations, including some jr lines. Some combinis and a supermarket near. You go on a short stroll and are directly in the heart of Akihabara, which was amazing for our shopping on last day. Luggage storage and forwarding are possible, which saved our life. Staff does not speak english a lot, but is amazing and really helpful. If you don't book a room with breakfast, you can still buy breakfast tickets in the morning, it's a buffet. You get fresh towels almost daily.

Rooms are bit small, so watch out with the number of luggage you have. 3 suitcases was already too much, as you can't open them at the same time to organize. Freezer didn't really work, so don't recommend buying ice cream. Only one washing machine and dryer, which was almost always in use. This was a bit shocking for such a bog hotel.

I paid around ¥13,900 per night for a Double Room (non-smoking) with breakfast included in July 2025, using the Genius discount. This is a standard chain hotel—the room was small but sufficient for two people. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a mini-fridge, an electric kettle, hair dryer, pajamas, instant tea and coffee, and two complimentary water bottles. Breakfast is served in the ground-floor restaurant, a compact space. The selection was simple but adequate. At check-in, they provided breakfast vouchers as well as a discount coupon for dinner at the same restaurant. I chose this location because of its proximity to Tokyo Dome, and since many other accommodations were fully booked for my dates. Overall, it was a good value for Tokyo.

The walls were somewhat worn/damaged.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a 20-minute walk to UTokyo and a 5-minute walk to the Ginza line or Marunouchi Line. The staff is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast offered by the restaurant/bar on the first floor of the hotel, which was reasonably priced. (It would have been even better if they could provide more variety of vegetables instead of just a lettuce salad.)

Although I understand that space in Tokyo buildings is compact, I wish at least the room could have a larger desk, as the current one is too narrow to do some computer work.

The organization was great, nothing was left to case Everything was clear since the beginning and their smart tv service to manage your stay, room cleaning dates and other useful info was great. I had a problem and had my family send me something from Italy to the Hotel, they staff handled it perfectly plus they were super kind.

Everything satisfied my expectations, only problem was the room which is very small (but well organized, so it's not really a downside if you have small luggage or no luggage at all)

It was very clean and convenient. We accidentally booked a "smoking room" and the smell was so unbearable we had to go back to the front desk and ask them for a non-smoking room. Thankfully they were so helpful in getting us a non-smoking room quickly and we were SO relieved.

This hotel is just a bit far away from the station for us. And the family mart next door is rather small. Neither of those things are the hotels fault though. There was nothing else wrong with the hotel.

This particular APA Hotel was located within walking distance of busy shopping, eating and train station areas..

I made my arrangements thru Bookings and when I arrived, I paid for the hotel, like instructed..Then I was notified by my bank that not only was my week paid for when I used my card at the front counter but an identical amount of funds were put on hold and removed from my account for (22) days?! I asked both Bookings and the hotel about the hold and both denied that they had anything to do with the hold and I would have to wait (22) days to see if the funds are returned to my account. I have been in two different countries and two more hotels and I still have two more weeks to go before I see if this amount is redeposited back into my acct. Not cool for a full time traveler, such as myself.

Great hotel in an excellent location right next to Akihabara and close to two subway stations. The rooms are small but clean, and the staff provides excellent cleaning service. The lobby is attractive, and the hotel offers useful amenities like laundry, vending machines, and a microwave. Overall, a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Tokyo.

Close to train/metro station. All in all the room was not bad (only minor nuisances, see below).

The bathroom had some annoying features such as the heated mirror (it does not fog up but it's uncomfortably warm) or the unnecessarily complicated taps (unintuitive placement of switches). Also, there were many blinking and steady lights in the room coming from different appliances that were annoying during the night.

The room and facilities were very nice. The bed was comfortable and there were enough power outlets for my things. The bathroom was clean and it has a bidet and the shower supplies include a yukata for wearing around the room. You get a fresh one each day even if you put the Do Not Clean Today sign on your door, they bring you fresh towels and yukata. Also there is a mini fridge and a bottle of water in the room when you arrive. Also a lovely folder paper crane was on the headboard of the bed.

The toilet is a bit close to the wall, as a large foreigner I was touching the wall every time I sat.
