I've stayed at this hotel several times. Although it is a simple hotel, the location is great, very convenient to public transport and access to Narita airport. Room not large but adequate for 2 people. Bathroom has all amenities, air-conditioned room, fridge, tea making facilities, openable window for fresh air. Coin operated washing machine and dryer. Lovely cafe in lobby area serving good breakfast. Helpful staff. As we were there during Golden Week, no twin rooms available so had a double room instead. It was ok for us because we are not big people, but probably not suitable for tall, larger people. Twin room would be more comfortable rather than a double bed, even if for a couple.

Very close from Chiyoda line and not too far from JR line trains. The room is very spacious for a solo traveler. Daily change of towels was a nice service.

Not that I didn’t like, just that there could be improvements. The entrance to the hotel are stairs so if you have multiple heavy luggage bags then you’ll have to carry them up the stairs. Maybe there is a ramp or lift somewhere but I didn’t see it. I liked that there was a laundry facility in the basement but there was no laundry detergent. Maybe reception had it (I didn’t ask), but in other hotels there are coin-operated machines that disperse packets of laundry detergent for cheap.

I was able to book the room just right for my family, convinience stores are very near specially the familymart. Location wise, its about 300-400m walk to Okachimachi Station not too far or the Ueno Center. There is another station yushima nearer but we used it less. Kids loved the bathroom, first time to enjoy japanese size bathtub and it was surprisingly nice. Staff are nice, check in was fast, added 3500 yen for checking out late 1pm. There is airpurifier in the room, air conditioning is temp controlled. There are a lot of outlets for charging in the room about 6 outlets!

The room needs to upgrade all refrigerators with freezer, we only got a chiller. Im 6ft tall. Anything above 5’6 or cant be seen above are dusty. The standard for cleanliness must improve.

Very helpful staff. Good sized room. Short walk from train station. Very handy washing and dryer machines at hotel. Also able to walk to and from Akihabara very easily.

There was no complimentary water or toilet paper every day. You can, of course, drink the tap water but it’s not the same as a bottle straight from the fridge.

We liked the location as it is near local train stations and Ueno district. The train to/from the airport goes to Ueno. It is also near food areas and convenience stores. There is a Family Mart 2min walk away. It was walking distance to Akihabara.

The futon setup takes a little getting used to. But the space it offers makes up for the minor discomfort. The room (Rm 125) we stayed in also had draft coming in from the windows, likely needing additional insulation. And because it is winter, it can be felt in the room.

Traditional room was very nice, floor beds, great! Enough space when you move the bedding, just great change after our other experience with smaller rooms

Dryer did not dry enough so we had to put the laundry all over the room to dry it, even after running the 2nd cycle. In the front entrance a couple of hangers would be great for vests/coats.

The staff was exceptionally nice and it was great to have a coin laundry machine, as well as a vending machine in the basement. You can see the room is old, but it's very neat and clean. We were provided with all the necessary sanitary products and even more than necessary. The restroom was modern and well working. Very convenient location regarding public transportation, including train connection with the airport (10 minute walk) and 2 metro stations (2 minutes to Yushima, 5 minutes to Ueno Hirokoji). If you want to have some fun time, there's a lot of karaoke around and it's just a short walk from Akihabara.

The booking details stated the size of the room, but we were still surprised by how small it turned out to be. Once we put our luggage inside we struggled to move around. Maybe it would be sufficient for people who are on short business stays, but because we purchased a lot of souvenirs, it was a big inconvenience.

I like that our room was big. The bathroom was also huge and it has complete amenities. We are only 3, but I think the room can fit 3 more people.

Since it was our first time in Japan and coming from a tropical country, an 8°C temperature is already chilling. We expected that the room has a heater but we don't know how to operate it. We thought that they have a centralized system so we did not dare to ask. We were not able to sleep properly on our first night because of the cold room. I hope next time they will guide their guests on how to adjust the room's temperature.

A very clean and big room with a modern bathroom. They have a small cafeteria downstairs for a quick snack or for breakfast. The location it’s perfect because it’s close to all Ueno most important location and some train stations.

The laundry machine was in the basement and you don’t have a way to know if it’s been used before you go down.

Room was more spacious than I was expecting, with a comfortable bed and air conditioning. Everything was clean and the amenities were good such as kettle and fridge. It was a short walk from the nearest trains station, not far from Ueno Park and surrounded with good eateries and shops.

Nothing stood out that was 'unlikeable'.
