The landlady is absolutely lovely. She was very attentive and we had fresh milk and kit kats in the fridge. The room was lovely and clean. Great shower facilities. The landlady came in early to make us breakfast which she didn't even charge us for and it was very nice. The area is isolated with nothing to do without a drive away but this was fine for us staying one night for a business trip. The pub is a cute country pub with many locals enjoying their time there. The landlady never stops and is constantly catering for everybody. Thankyou

I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was, given that it was a pub. I was expecting a lot of noise in a pub on a Saturday night, but it didn't happen. The bar doesn't play music or TV and the customers weren't very loud (though the rooms do overlook the beer garden, so you can hear some talking if you open the windows). Room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were super-friendly, helpful, and polite. It's in a convenient location, not too far from the main roads and the coast. Probably the best room in a pub I've ever had, and definitely on my list of 'places to stay when I go birding in Norfolk' from now on!

The wi-fi was fine in the evening, but when I got up in the morning there was no internet. This was exceptionally inconvenient, as I had not planned my route for the day and there were a number of things I needed to look up about the places I was going to visit. No bath available in the twin rooms (probably because the old building means the 'bathroom' is an unsuitable shape and can only fit a shower)

It was very dog friendly. Very clean And the owner manager was very nice to talk to very personal. And that personal touch stands out And made us fill very welcome. All the staff were very helpful and yes we would defo stay there again the food was ok and not expensive. Breakfast was lovely The room was very cosy and we had a lovely nights sleep. Couldn’t find any fault with this inn. I’ve stayed in a lot more expensive hotel. And not felt as welcome Well done to all at the crown. Hope to see you next time we are in kings lynn

Nothing to complain about good stay value for money

Lovely and clean, huge comfortable bed, lots of extras like bottled water and hot choc, dog friendly in all areas too which was great with our dog! Food was excellent and portions were huge! Felt very homely and all the staff were lovely and friendly!

One tiny negative was the WiFi in the room wouldn’t work so we couldn’t use Netflix or use our phones, but only a small issue!

Everything. An ideal place to use as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The room was lovely. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and bottled water and a mini fridge to keep the milk in. Superb breakfasts and ample choice. Even the locals made us welcome and were warm and friendly. All in all an excellent venue and value for money.

I can honestly say that I couldn’t find anything to complain about.

Lovely room with en-suite shower room, spotlessly clean. Tea, coffee, bottled water and a little fridge with fresh milk and a couple of Kit Kats in. The staff were all helpful and friendly. A lovely local pub with beautiful boutique rooms.

The only downside was the pub doesn’t do food on a Sunday night but that was understandable as they had been doing Sunday dinners all day, we just had to go to the next village to find a meal to a pub they recommended to us.

This place is a rare gem. The room was spotless, and the added touch of fresh milk in the room for tea & coffee was a welcome change/surprise. The staff were all amazing, very attentive, cheerful and welcoming, we were made to feel like locals from the outset and not strangers. The food was fantastic, we dined in the restaurant (evening meal) on our day of arrival and even though we had not booked a table it was absolutely no problem and we were served quickly and efficiently, all the food was well presented and cooked to perfection, breakfast the next morning was also to the same faultless standard we could not fault either meal in any way, keep up the good work guys 11/10. The management team here obviously put their heart and soul into running The Crown Inn, and it certainly shows.

Although it is being really, really picky and it is something that I appreciate cannot be changed, I can see how the proximity to the road may affect a light sleeper, other than that no other problems or faults.

Lovely a accmmodation,very nicely appointed rooms. Good size, quiet despite being on road...was at weekend. Very comfortable bed....slept really well.

Would like a choice at breakfast e.g Apple juice or water. Arrived to 3 orange juices having g been poured. 2 of us don't drink orange juice. Also with breakfast....Full breakfast came, again would be nice to be given the opportunity to day no tomato or no beans as feels a waste to leve things you don't like. Needed clear instructions about ' back door'. At midnight it was hard to find the correct back door , at left of building through a farm gate....almost thought we were locked out for the night! A number to call would have been nice....as a resident.

We were delayed by train issues, and the staff were really accommodating and very kindly waited up to receive us. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious especially the local meats. Would highly recommend for all!

Room was a little chilly, but that's only because we arrived late and we were fine once in bed.

All staff were very friendly and welcoming, as a coeliac sufferer they catered for my every needs and went above and beyond for me. All my gluten free meals were fully gluten free and delicious.

maybe a privacy screen on the windows as the room overlooked the tables and chairs out the front.
