Gorgeous location, all rooms look out over the lake and with decent views of it. There is a lift to take you from reception to the restaurant, or first set of rooms so access is good. Small parking space on the right of the hotel for about 8 cars, but then there are more on the left alongside the road, so should get in ok, It was busy but we still parked without any trouble. Good restaurant with great menu choices, I had the buffet, a dessert size plate which you can fill with salad, meats, fish, etc for 25chf, great value! Hubby had a fish dish for 35chf, really nice but not a huge portion so you might also want a starter or pudding at about 20chf. Wine is expensive as everywher in Switzerland, we chose a cheaper option of white at about 35chf but also had pre-dinner drinks, which we bought at the supermarket beforehand for a cheaper alternative. Small fridges in the rooms, don't chill too much but helps a bit, you might also be able to geta bucket of ice at the restaurant. Staff in the restaurant are first-class. Christina and Vincenzo were absolutely brilliant, Saw what was needed without us having to even ask! Attention to detail here throughout the hotel, is amazing, all smelled fresh, umbrellas new and put up or down promptly to suit the sun. Pool sparkilingly clean, gardens pristine. Lots of room to eat outside at dinnerr, breakfast choices good, hot as well as a full array of breads, pastries, meat, cheese etc. Good disabled access, the hotel was very accomodating, Flat access at front, no steps to dining room, small lift but big enough for wheelchair, would recommend.

Air conditioning in room would have been good as it was very warm, but there are shutters you can close and then leave windows open for air. We werecomfortable despite it being very warm. Our room was at the front, looking over the road. Good for ease of access but noisy at times. Ask to be more inside for a quieter room.

Single small blocks of houses divided to 4 units, every one had its own separate entrance and terrace, very quiet and intimate, really beautiful . Lots of green, beautiful small gardens.

If you want to walk down to the lake it is really challenging as there is no sidewalk so you’ll have to really watch out for the cars driving up and down. That is if you want to explore, otherwise you have everything you need inside. There s a pool, a big garden near the pool and lots of areas where you can walk or even just sit and enjoy the breathtaking view.

Beautiful stay over looking Lake Maggiore. Beautuful hotel with lovely swimming pool and relaxing area. The hotel is located high up, and as a result, there are beautiful views of the lake and the city of Locarno across the way. Continental breakfast was beautiful, loads of choice. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Not a dislike - just the hotel is a bit up a hill/mountain. We walked down to the town below, but it was a hard climb back up. We didn't want to bring the car down as there was limited parking in the town.

A wonderful location with stunning views over Lake Maggiore. An excellent, dog-friendly restaurant with stylish menus. Glad there was a lift for my husband to use: the dog and I climbed many steps to acces the garden as the hotel is perched on a ridge. However, the space was very cleverly used with quiet areas as well as a lovely terrace with a bar.

The complex is built on a hill. The upper rooms and buildings can be reached via stairs. Not ideal for disabled and elderly people. However, many rooms can also be reached by car. Sufficient parking spaces available.

The hotel staff and surroundings were amazing! Beautiful gardens and heavenly pool with loungers to relax in. Food at the restaurant also excellent.

The beds and pillows were a big let down. This is such an easy thing to fix. Please invest in more comfortable beds and pillows as this is an important part of a good hotel stay.

The views are absolutely stunning! Bellavista is living up to its name for sure!

The beds are stuck in the 80s. Two small matteresses pushed together. A queen size bed would be more approriate. The waiters are kind of snobby and unfreindly - this would never fly in the United States when you pay for a service

The location is amazing and you have a great view to the lake from anywhere. The restaurant was also very nice and breakfast also! The staff was very nice and made us a package with keys and instructions, because of our late night arrival.

Basic and old furniture rooms. My single does have a strange smell and it was really hot without air conditioner. The rooms are very clean, though, but is not the value for the money I was looking for.

Nice big room. Super view to the lake and at Locarno. Parking front of the appartement. Breakfast is very good. Nice staff. Very clean room and bathroom.

We arrived around 21:00 and the room was quite cold. (At the end of Sep...) No minibar... only an empty fridge with two bottles of water...

The accommodation was excellent with the balcony with an amazing view of the Lake Maggiore The only thing I could suggest is air conditioning as temperature reaches 30c in summer

The breakfast was a disappointment, Very low quality of choice and ingredients They could revamp the complete breakfast buffet and could be a number one start of the day and a memorable breakfast that everyone remember.
