In short: The property — in the most peaceful part of Ubud, tucked away in a forest The room — very spacious The staff — hands down the most incredible people: Wahyu, Dantiari, Budi, Luhde and Jerry, big thanks to you all. We loved everything about the property — it’s huge, set in the middle of a forest area, surrounded by trees and super peaceful. Despite the vegetation, we did not face any issues with insects. The staff maintain the property very well ensuring extreme hygiene and cleanliness. Our room was one with the valley view and didn’t have a private pool — so we used the main pool next to the restaurant and it was excellent, and again, maintained very well! The staff at the property is truly wonderful, they really take care of you and make the stay absolutely delightful. It is important to note that this hotel is in a secluded area (as the description says), so quite far from the Ubud Centre, as well as, has a steep climb up and down. We did not mind this at all, as we could get cabs easily enough, the hotel can also arrange a car upon request and they provide free shuttle service as well. But for those who have difficulty walking, please make sure you speak to the hotel and are satisfied that your requirements are being fulfilled before you make your booking, because there are lots of stairs and steep climbs in the property.

The breakfast menu is slightly limited, maybe the hotel can look at adding a bit more variety.

It was quiet and nestled in the jungle

Getting to the location is extremely difficult, even the drivers didn’t want to pick up or drop off in the evening as it’s on the edge of the mountain, narrow roads with steep slopes. Not a good place if you’re riding a scooter or bikes. No restaurants or shop nearby, and the 1 only restaurant isn’t anything to rave about. The food was below average. God forbid you have a medical emergency, you couldn’t get out of the place.

Staff was extremely thoughtful about our wellbeing during the stay. We had to leave early before official breakfast time and they offer at no additional cost to prepare breakfast boxes with sanwichs/fruits/water.

No restaurants in the near vicinity of the hotel. The hotel offers shuttles to Ubud 5 times a day though. The best is to have own car or chauffeur.

Location( in the middle of the jungle), staff (very kind, helpful and supportive), swimming pool, waterfalls within, near amenities (approximately half an hour from Ubud shopping centre and others), free daily shuttle service to centre with return, restaurant (breakfast comes with six options to choose from), daily room service, club car to transport from the resort to the car parking. One day, four monkeys came to our villa’s private pool, and we had a fun moment with them. The private pool within our villa was always cold, we couldn’t use it. I wonder if the resort management could help in some way to heat it up, daily, so couples can benefit from it. Also, we found a geico lizard inside the Villa, which is expected in Ubud. We called the management team, and thankfully they responded quickly by talking it away. I strongly recommend this resort for honeymooners, couples and families. You gonna really enjoy the nature life and the kindness of Ubud people.🥰

The location is very serene. It was a bit far away from the centre but it could be a good thing depending on what you're looking for. They also offer a shuttle at a cost to get to other areas. The staff were incredible, very accomodating and make you feel very welcome. The room was really comfortable and nice and cool.

Outside of the room the pool wasn't super clean and the outdoor bed cushions had stains and dust. The TV didn't work at all and the WIFI was spotty but it's perfect for connecting to nature. A minor detail but I would've liked to see a few cocktails or drinks on the menu.

Ubud Hills Villas & Resort was the perfect escape! They accommodated us on just one day’s notice and gave us a beautiful deluxe villa with a private pool at the top of the resort. Lots of steps, but the elevated views and peaceful sound of the waterfall made it so worth it. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay, and a special thanks to Dian, our concierge, who made everything effortless. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in Ubud.

The location was amazing, tucked away in the hills, with a close by waterfall that you can hear from your room. Breakfast overlooks the pool and is really nice. The kitchen were amazing and when my partner got sick were very accomodating to his food needs. Staff members Kadek, Putu, Wahyu and Jerry made our stay very memorable. You are also able to get free transport at certain times to ubud centre.

When they say hills, they really mean hills! The drive down to reception is very steep. The massage options are on the pricey side for a hotel as well.

was the best accomodation of our entire holiday in Bali, a structure in the middle of the jungle (kidding) very nice, with multiple services available, very efficient and empathetic staff, adequate gastronomic offer. We had the opportunity to test many of the facility's offerings: from airport transfer, breakfast, takeaway, lunch, dinner, spa. Everything was carried out in the best possible way. We also tried the candlelight dinner experience and really enjoyed it. Recommended

for us it was not a problem at all, we were aware but certainly the location and the road to the facility is not very comfortable

- Surrounding nature and sound of water. - Spacious and clean room. Comfortable bedding. - View from the room with large windows. - Large bathroom and very strong water pressure.

- extremely steep road to access the hotel. Difficult for cars and for pedestrians. - Breakfast menu complicated, and few healthy options (sweetened cereals, no brown bread). But great omelettes. - No cutlery in the rooms to eat complementary fruits.

The staff are amazing. They ask you to put your breakfast order in the night before so it’s ready for you at your decided time. One of the days we were leaving at 2am for a hike up Mt batur so we told them we didn’t require breakfast. Instead they made us sandwiches and fruit to take on the hike. They organised our late (12am) pick from the airport and any time we needed a taxi somewhere they booked it for us. Five star treatment. Words can’t describe how grateful we were for the staff.

The location although beautiful is a little ways out from Ubud. However it’s not really a problem as they are happy to organise taxis for drop offs and pick up.
