Everything about Selat Al Bait is +5 Star and online ratings don't justify this wonderful hotel. Personally travelling around the world from Australia, America, Europe and Asia..... this is the best hotel we lived in. It's like a hotel in flower garden with a beautiful mesmerising smell of perfume. Perfume or attar sprayed in every corner of this hotel, which u can even smell standing on the road whenever the entrance door opens up round the clock and hygiene level easily beat any 5 star hotel in Makkah. This is our review after staying almost 6 nights and coming back from Madina again to stay for 3 nights. Highly recommend for families with elderly people and young kids, especially from UK & EU. A truly 5 Star hotel with +5 star service.

Friendly and helpful staff Cleanliness

Location is far away from haram, hotel shuttle is available but the pick and drop point at haram is again far away. We had to climb hill and then decend to enter haram. Shuttle should pick and drop at clock tower location. Taxi rate varies from minimum 30SAR to 70SAR depending upon criticality of time.

This was our second stay at this brilliant hotel. Definitely lt was better than earlier. Hotel staff was very cooperative throughout our both visits. 5 Star 🌟 in all aspects and highly recommend this hotel over alot of other 5 stars.

Nothing To Dislike

Superb hotel with all facilities, its really deserve much more than 3 star(should be 4 staar atleast).pleasant perfume smell all arround, cleaness all good, Breakfast is superb with needs of all age group.

Now a days Ummul Qura road is closed, so access would be by taxi and hotel bus, both options available frequently. by walk access to Haram is difficult for family. but taxi and buses available for both sides, taxi charges varry depend upon peak hours.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Selat al Bait and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every need was met with a smile. the staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure my every need was taken care of. Special shoutout to Miss Gahad - she was an absolute superstar in providing support throughout my visit. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury.

The staff was very friendly, especially those who worked in the kitchen were very helpful and kind.

The location was a bit far from the Haram because the street leading to the Haram had some construction work, which forced the drivers to take another Street that bypassed the road.

Everything was exceptional, the staff, food and the facilities. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean. Location is 5 mins away from Haram by taxi.

Shuttle bus service wasn’t available ate the time I stayed.

I have stayed in many high end hotels. This hotel is more or less similar in the cleanliness facilities and staffs.

The shuttle is not practical as it has no clear schedule. Suggest to have a clear timetable for the shuttle every week. One things I didn’t like on checking out I have to wait for one of the staff to go and check the room is okay before letting me go. Kind of insulting for the guests. Would be better if they take credit card as a grantee in case they find any damaged or missed items. With the quality of the service they are delivering the should be more considerate and sensitive about how to treat their guests . I have been fair to them and did not considered that in rating.
