The Cliff is honestly the best resort we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived at Koh Lipe, a driver was waiting to pick us up by the pier with a smile on his face. We were greeted so warmly at the Resort with a cold towel, drinks and some snacks upon our arrival. The staff showed us to our room where they had set up a small surprise arrangement for my partner’s birthday with petals and a cake made up of the towels. The room itself was incredible - stunning beach views and Koh Adang in the background. The room was clean, adequately airconditioned, with separate showers and toilet (no wet bathroom). The jacuzzi was also amazing - a whole floor to itself with the same immaculate view of the beach and plenty of privacy from any neighbours. The villa was private enough that we never ran into any other stays, and could not see them from our room or balcony. The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful with every single request and question. There’s a free shuttle bus to walking town at 11:30AM, then between 4-7PM at every hour. There’s a mini private beach and snorkelling gear/kayaks available for rental, and the snorkelling just in front of the resort is incredible. I could not recommend this resort enough, and will definitely return again.

The location is a little far from the Walking Street but it is still very much walking distance (1.6km, 20 minute walk). However, the private beach makes this very well worth the location so it’s not even that much of a con. Taxi’s are extremely easy to come by (50 baht per person) and there is the free shuttle bus available as well, so it’s really just a minor inconvenience if anything.

The tranquility of our stay and had it's own private beach and free kayaks available. They also have a transfer service from and to the Pier or any other hotel you are transferring to. Food were excellent. A plus is that you get to see the sunset while having dinner. Staff were so nice and helpful especially Charles did everything asked of such as upgrade to a jacuzzi room with ocean view.

Did not like that there were no Iron in the room or Ironing service available.

Jacuzzi room is having nice view,overall hotel environment is kinda quiet and suitable for relaxing & chill. Private beach although small,still they provide free snorkeling equipment & free kayaking. Quiet beach for chill as well. Beach staff is also aggressively offering for help & kinda alert. The only things is to be careful with the stone as some of it kinda sharp & it cause us injure on feet. Quiet some distance from walking street as the hotel is on cliff side,the road from town to hotel is quiet broken,it would be a bit scary especially raining days. Restaurants food choices can be improve then it would be perfect if you lazy to go out to walking street. Overall all hotel staff is great as they always greet you politely with smile and aggressively offering for help. Thumbs up for the staff

Bathroom rain shower is not functioning well and with some smell. Cleanliness to be improve. Ordered room service food,when collecting back those plate staff do not clean the table for us.

The private beach is amazing !! The use of kayaks and snorkels is such a great add on. We used them daily. The room was really nice. The private pool was really lovely. A lot of monkeys around so just had to be wary of our stuff. Food really lovely and the view of the sunset is great! Breakfast had good choices and was delicious. Couldn’t fault. Offer free pickup and drop off to the port and have daily shuttles to the walking street which is really useful

Cliff Lipe is a super nice and calm place. It is placed a bit remote, away from all the busyness on the rest of the island. A perfect getaway, if you desire a calm location. The resort has a small beach in front with nice snorkeling. We found clown fish (Nemo) on the reef there. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good, both with a buffet and eggs, pancakes and youghurt dishes you could order on a menu. The view from the sea view apartments are stunning. Monkeys roam the area, they are a bit cheeky and will steal your stuff, so keep your things in the house. Fun to have them around. If you want sun and more sandy beach, then I recommend you just walk down the step hill to Pattaya beach (5 min walk) and then use the hidden boardwalk to go to Sanom beach. A hidden gem of a calm and Sunny beach (go in high tide, if you want to snorkle)

The wifi was not working on the entire resort and it seemed like this had been going on for a while. There was no plan to fix it either. Wifi is expected on a resort like this. They had two wifi pocket 4G routers you could borrow for a limited time. The beds was comfy in Thai standard, but could have been better on a resort like this. The apartments with pool and sea view have terraces in constant shade, meaning the pool was cold and you could not tan on terrace.

Great location away from any crowds. Only a short 'taxi' ride into town, or take a 15-20 min walk to get there if it's not too hot. Private beach was really nice, lots of snorkeling straight off the shore and kayaks etc. available. Staff also organized a snorkeling day trip for us and some other guests on a longtail which was well worth it. Monkeys nearby could be a pro/con, as they were fun to watch and fairly respectful (as far as monkeys go), just beware not to leave belongings outside.

Room layout was strange. We had 2 couples in a family bungalow which required everyone walk through the bathroom to get out to the deck/pool, or a walk through one bedroom to get out the front door. Not a big deal, but had better be comfortable with your friends.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 3 nights/4days. The resort was perfect and so beautiful. We stayed in the ocean view jacuzzi suite, had zero complaints and definitely enjoyed our stay. Aside from the beauty of the resort the staff were honestly amazing and made our stay even better and more special. I can't remember everyone's names, but Charlie the manager of the resort in particular set the bar so high and went above and beyond every step of the way to make sure our stay was perfect (which is probably why the rest of the staff is so great as well). Charlie made us feel incredibly welcome and as though we were the most important people there (not because we were, but because he is so great and welcoming). I would definitely return and definitely recommend to others. Thanks again for everything Charlie!!! 🙏

Friendly staff paired with an amazing location equals an especially epic getaway. Waking up with the view over the reef was a dream. Perfectly located away from the crowds and a wonderful walk down the beach to walking street. Plenty of hot water and AC with the rooms just ensured returning from a days dive was made even better. Highly recommend

The Breakfast was not to crash hot. Wonderful set up and staff. Just a little off the mark with some of the foods (eggs benny e.g.) otherwise amazing. Once again the staff and view makes it.

The location is stunning - probably the best on the island. The food at the restaurant is very good, lovely staff too. Nicely maintained foliage everywhere - 10 out of 10 to the gardening staff.

The rooms need a little updating. Everything looked a tad care-worn. No money spent updating since it was built. Dreadful non-stop LA music in the bar and restaurant - completely wrong for the place. So repetitive and uninspiring.

Amazing location on the island 🏝 The views from our room were spectacular. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, the breakfast and dinner were very tasty while enjoying the views. A great experience.

Just had to leave.
