North Beach is one of the best in Fiji. Snorkelling 50 metres from the sand has you over coral and all the tropical fish on the drop off, including turtles, eagle rays, squid, clown fish, giant clams and white tip reef sharks. Best at high tide. South Beach is OK for all tides, but not as good as North Beach. Plus, you can go to Sunset Beach for amazing sunsets and climb up to the view at the top of Mana for great panoramic vistas. And then there's the chapel near Sunset Beach for great pictures beside the water. These are Mana Island's best features, as well as it's scuba diving trips. Plus there's always plenty of food at the buffet for breakfast and dinner to refuel for the next day. The staff are great and they all sing like angels. My daughters also said the spa was their best ever massage. That's a pretty good wrap for everything.

Sometimes slow to make up your room, but we understand because the housekeeping staff were overwhelmed as it was full occupancy.

Amazing location and staff, we loved our stay, it's a good size island and we had plenty to keep us occupied for a week and did not want to leave. Walking, reef snorkelling right off the beach and plenty of space to have time away from other guests, but also a good variety of activities with something to suit everyone. Plenty of good food from the buffet and we loved that our package included breakfast and dinner. The staff are special and made us so very welcome.

We had read reviews about the facilities being a bit tired and while we agree that there is room for improvement, we were very comfortable, and it did not impact our stay. Some easy wins for the resort would be replacing the sports equipment eg tennis racquets and table tennis paddles, pool cue tips, repairing signage etc.

A 75-minute ride on a South Sea Cruises cat took us out to Mana Island where a friendly resort team greeted us warmly with song, their friendliness and joy continuing throughout our stay. Mana Island is a slice of paradise, the powdery white sand beaches on the Northern side very swimmable even at low tide. Our Ocean View Room looked out on the beach and was just a few steps from the water. Our package included Buffet Breakfast and Dinner, and we were spoiled for choice and enjoyed the different nightly themes. A must do, is the Sunset Beach ride down to the western end.

The resort is looking a little tired and while there were some signs, it could do with more as the resort extends from one side of the island to the other and the paths are not always clear.

The location of the resort was spectacular. Colours of the water was amazing with fantastic snorkelling, superb view, swimming pool area with a good vibe. Buffet was good and always something to choose from. Kids appreciated spaghetti bolognese. Loving the Bure, bed comfortable and spectacular outdoor shower of rocks with warm water. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Loved the singing during dinner or for evening entertainment. Nice free activities organised by the hotel, bus to Sunset beach was exceptional, fish feeding was lovely. Suggesting to buy your own Fijian SIM card (Vodafone) at the port (cheap and lots of data). Also check the time of the boat which runs 3 times a day (South Sea Cruises). Suggesting you to book a tour with Aquazur Fiji operating marine activities at Mana Island resort (close to the jetty) to explore Castaway island or Malolo island. If you like to bring some school supplies or small gifts there is a school in the village.

The day I had to leave!

Accommodation (beach front bure) and location were excellent. Staff and food at Nasu (teppanyaki) restaurant were exceptional.

I didn't realise that the half board only included buffet meals, which were not always great. The breakfast buffet was a little lacking compared to other resorts I have stayed at, and dinner buffets became boring after a couple of nights so it would have been great to have an a la carte menu to order from. The pool area vibe was not as lively as I would have liked, I would have enjoyed a bit more energetic music and for the staff to take our orders from poolside instead of having to go to the bar or inside to the cafe all the time.

The location is stunning. Mana island is worth visiting and Mana island resort and spa is by far the best option in the island. Very easy to reach by boat via the jetty. We had a very warm welcome from the staff the moment we arrived. The rooms are nice, clean, spacious and comfortable. You have everything you need. We liked the little private terrace outside the bure where you can enjoy the view and relax. Nice outdoor shower with warm water! Nice pool with view to the beach. Nice free activities organised by the hotel. For example, the bus ride to sunset beach was very nice. As well as the coconut hunting and tasting and fan waving. The breakfast and dinner buffet were really nice with a variety of food options. Every night there are different dishes to try. Always plenty of food to eat even if you choose to have a late dinner. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. They always greet, talk and take good care of you. The beach on the north side is stunning. Excellent for snorkelling, swimming or just lay down and enjoy the views. We appreciated the fact that depending on the wind direction you always have the option to swim on the north or south side of the island.

Small amends could be made. For example, the tennis court and tennis balls could be updated. Drink and alcohol prices are bit high. Room cleaning is a bit slow. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned and for new towels (even if we had the room cleaning sign on for 2 days).

Great buffet food with different cuisines daily, excellent snorkelling from south and north beach, friendly staff, garden bure shower

Lack of communications e.g. when the pool bar is or isn’t open, conflicting information around activities - times, location, when to return snorkel equipment, maps weren’t clear, resort is in need of an upgrade

This Place is Amazing! Yes it is a bit run down as many say, but it’s rustic and still beautiful! The Beach is gorgeous and so is snorkeling, we didn’t even use the pool. The staff is amazing too. If you love the beach you will love this place. Food is ok but not great otherwise I’d give it a 10, but overall we will definitely go back!

The location was amazing - despite being a big resort we felt like we hardly saw other people often had the beach to ourselves. Snorkelling was great - facilities were also great!

Many items that may be “inclusive of price” in other resorts were chargeable at Mana Island - but no major - accept you are on holiday in paradise and enjoy the moment 🤙🏻

As huge Survivor fans, Mana Island is always a must-visit for us, and it did not disappoint! The island itself is stunning, with its beautiful white sandy beaches. The Mana Resort exceeded our expectations. While the resort may be a bit older, it has a charm that we loved, especially the beach, the pool, and the food. The food in Mana was definitely a highlight for us. From the delicious breakfast to the nightly buffet dinners, everything was incredibly tasty and offered great value for the money. We were impressed with the variety and quality of the meals. The staff were incredibly friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The resort is large, so be prepared for a bit of a walk from your room to the main pool, especially on hot days. If you're traveling with small children, we highly recommend requesting a room closer to the pool for added convenience.
