We had a fantastic family vacation with our 9yo and 5yo. The grounds are large and beautiful, with a variety of pools, beaches, restaurants and available activities. And the staff are so warm and welcoming! We did a lot of activities as a family, but my husband and I were also able to sneak away to go surf and snorkel on our own. (Bring your own boards if you want to surf, though.) While shy at first, our kids enjoyed the kids club and ended up wanting to go even on days we didn't plan for them to go! We also used the nanny service to bridge the kids club hours, which was easy and affordable, too.

I would have preferred in-room wifi to be included. But...having to pay for it (and us deciding not to) helped reduce our screen time all week!

Location is great, perfect holiday destination for families with kids. 4 pools, kids club, awesome beaches to swim/snorkel. Lots of water sports and activities for everyone too do. Bula bikes is great. Kids club is great. Plenty of playgrounds etc. beachfront bures great size for families.

Pools could have some more shade sails, more bula bikes for younger kids that need training wheels. We loved the pools and bula bikes so this is more of a general comment. Need more signs to show where toilets are and daily activities for resort

Location and water was so peaceful and beautiful Staff were friendly. We had an ocean view bure and loved the position being right across from the beach...great view to wake up to Watersports, paddleboarding, kayaking and inflatables were included and fun Sunsets were spectacular. Great place to relax and wind down...7 nights was a good amount of time on the island

Bikes were good to have a ride around the island but pretty expensive. For 3 of us cost $210 Fjd for 2 days Would have liked a bit more variety with the dining at Tavola, maybe a specials board to change things up. Food we did have was nice though. Buffet changed menu nightly and the food was good but expensive for a buffet dinner ($195 fjd per night for 3) with no soft drinks or juice included like at the breakfast buffet. Not complaining just mentioning for others to be aware.

Pillow and sheets are soooo old. it’s all turn yellow and looks dirty. Facilities like bikes are $25 per day but rusted. Toliet is a bit smelly. Food is ok.

We liked the pools a lot more this time, much cleaner than our visit in 2023. Great reliable wifi. Food is great value for money and loads of options! Staff are super friendly as always :) The returnee drinks were a really nice touch. It was a good chance to meet staff and hear about future upgrades.

Adding some fresh fruit to the kids' menus would be ideal for us. Our kids missed fruit! A few of the scheduled activities weren't happening when we turned up i.e. coconut demonstration. A daily up to date schedule would be helpful to plan your day. A designated smoking area around brigham bar is needed (we don't smoke) but noticed a lot of cigarette butt's in sand where our kids were playing. The picnic table sand area directly in front of Brigham bar could be tidier.

This place is so special!! We are a family of 4 (2 adults & 5 year old twins) and stayed in the beachfront hotel room, which suited us perfectly. We were on the ground floor with a gorgeous view of the water and a hammock just outside our door. The children loved playing on the grass and beach while we relaxed in the hammock in the afternoon. It is truly the perfect place for kids - multiple playgrounds, nature, snorkelling right off the beach, inflatables, a choice of 4 pools and the nicest staff ever! The kids club was ace! My kids kept begging to go!! We also stayed at a 5 star resort in Denarau and we much preferred our stay at plantation!!

Remember that it’s an island and not a 5 star resort so don’t expect fine dining and everything pristine. Come with a relaxed attitude and enjoy the good vibes. Check in is conducted as a group when you arrive so I recommend visiting reception and getting a thorough 1:1 intro to the island as number of people we met didn’t know about things on offer (e.g. free equipment use, underwater city/snorkelling spot off the beach etc). We all had such a relaxing and enjoyable time that we’re going to come back next year!

Very nice facilities and boardwalks everywhere. Lots of things to do and activities. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help you. Loved the bikes.

It was a bit westernised and overpriced - reflected Australian prices for most things or was even more expensive than what we would pay for the same thing in Australia. We wanted to hear and see more Fijian culture and singing - not Aussie pub songs from the band.

Perfect relaxing family getaway, facilities were fantastic, staff were just amazing and do friendly, lots to do if you wanted too, even though it was fully booked, it was never crowded or too many people. Black coral restaurant was divine food for adults (kids meals were tiny and expensive though & didn't fill them up). Grounds were immaculate.

Pricing was very expensive, approx $1100 nzd per night for a very basic hotel room and had to pay almost $700 for transfers for 4 of us ontop, beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Paying by credit card incurred a 3-5% fee ontop of everything Tavoli restaurant food (the grill) was below average, overpriced, overcooked coral fish, tuna and steak. Disappointing. No cutlery, plates or utensils in room if you want to self cater sone meals

Very family oriented. Comfortable room & bed. Heaps of activities for kids. Beautiful white sandy beaches, multiple pools.

There’s so much to do on the island yet it didn’t feel busy at all. Lovely food at all 3 restaurants.

Our toilet at the hotel room had a dirty smell and dust and brown smear marks on the walls in the bathroom And toilet. Not the most pleasant. They bed was also very uncomfortable therefore we didn’t get any good sleeps the whole time we were there. Also 4 out of 19 from our group had gastro issues while on the island. We didn’t drink tap water at all but did eat at the buffet a few times.
