The location and view is phenomenal! Also the staff is very friendly and helpful! The resort has a nice slow pace, which was great for vacation. The location is also away from town in a secluded area.

The experience is closer to camping than it is to a hotel (no A/C, some bugs in room, shower outside, etc.), but if you are comfortable with that (there is a mosquito net above the bed, and the shower is enclosed - it’s actually quite nice), then the place is great! But be prepared that you are more outdoors than in a standard hotel. It’s also a fairly long and challenging walk into town, BUT it has very nice views along the way, and keeps you secluded.

The location is both the best and the worst thing. It s a magic place - far away from the crazy beach parties, but getting there and back to the city can be an adventure. Especially at night. Don t get me wrong - the place is great if you are ok with a little bit more nature exposure. At the end of the day - you are in the jungle and insects and small lizards might be part of you day to day encounters. But you can not bit that view and the peace and quite that this location brings.

The view from the room overlooking the bay and the sea is simply amazing! It was totally worth it to be there. Bungalow in the middle of the jungle with monkeys saying hi :)

It is very very loud in night. It's unfortunate, but the reason why Phi Phi island is so lively is because of the non-stop partying that takes place there. Bungalow is very far from the center (one of the last ones on this side of island) so probably this sound could be heard in every localization :(. If you are not young and physically fit, I do not recommend this place. The way from the center to the bungalow is not long (about 20 minutes of walk) but half of it is through jungle without light and good road (stones, roots). You can take boat taxi (100bath each way). It is quite hot in the room and the fans are not enough, as there is no air conditioning. Ants on our bad :( Amazing view is the only reason I would choose this bungalow again, but no longer than 2 nights!

The balcony was great. I brought a hammock with me and enjoyed using it on the balconey whilst drinking coffee or beer and enjoying the view and sunsets. I enjoyed the restaurant meals also. For me, the walking distance to town (about 15 minutes) was perfect and the short walk from the restaurant and rocky beach up to the bungalow was fine. The room size was okay and the natural wooden construction was nice. The bungalow and restaurant meals were excellent value for money :)

I was okay with everything, but some guests would have preferred a fully indoor shower (the shower had nice, heated warm water and was partly outside) and a better toilet seat. The visibility in the sea wasn't great but it was monsoon season so was expected at this time of year. There were some visits to the balcony from monkeys and a mosquito sometimes but they didn't bother me. There was a mosquito net in the room anyway. As said, I was okay with everything and enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return. I have mentioned these things only so that some guests, if they are too fussy, won't be disappointed.

Nice hotel and personnel. It's definitely worth getting there for nature, the view and peace, however it's not easy to get there as there is an uneven walk through the jungle but apart from that staff was doing everything to make our stay pleasant even if we had few problems they were there to help. Definitely worth staying there as the bed is big and comfortable also the view is breathtaking.

Hopefully in the future there will be more concrete on the way to the resort that will ease transportation both for the visitors and the hotel too. Also if you are visiting this lovely place and want to stay away from the crowds be aware of mosquitos.

The staff was exceptional! The location was absolutely beautiful although far from the main pier. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh each morning! The monkeys may try to visit your bunkie in the mornings! They are very fun to watch, but might try to come inside when the doors are open ! We rented a kayak from the resort which was great! It's a great access point to other bays.

Unfortunately the thing we didn't enjoy was beyond the resort's control. There is a bar on the North beach that plays music extremely loud every night. If you bring ear plugs, you should be alright though! Some people may not like the distance to the resort, but we didn't mind it! The walk was actually enjoyable for us.

Amazing location in the middle of Nature, easy boat transfer, restaurant with limited choice but absolutely delicious dishes (among the very best I had during my holidays!)

Too bad to hear the beach bar music from the center of the island, very difficult to sleep despite earplugs - but magic quiet location in daytime

Great secluded property from the main party scene. Please note, you will hear some music at night but I’d imagine all of Phi Phi can hear it coming from the main area. We booked this property originally due to its privacy which it certainly has a lot of. You will be in the woods, no AC, surrounded by nature, which we knew going in. The walk is not as bad as other comments make it seem. My wife and I did it, in flip flops, after hours of drinking and other activities. Just be prepared for a steep hill and rocks you’ll have to strategically step on. The balcony was cute, and yes you will see monkeys in action!!!

The biggest let down was that the bar/restaurant was not operating. Therefore we had to load our bags and do the 15 minute walk into town for coffee and stay out for the day. We would’ve loved to have had a coffee in the morning looking for monkeys on our balcony. Even a beer/meal during sunset would been great. They are renovating the restaurant so hopefully it is done soon so others can take advantage of the scenery.

The view of the bay from the hotel is phenomenal, the staff is very friendly and the bungalow/room was nice and clean, and we enjoyed the big shared balcony as we were traveling with a couple of friends. You really feel emerged in the jungle with all it brings of animals and sounds but also tranquil and relaxation.

The room only had a fan so it did get hot inside - though we saw they were installing new A/Cs in other bungalows so it might change soon. The distance and walk to the centre was not optimal but not too bad and well lit all the way in the evening. They also provide free boat shuttles to the town at specific times and if you book a tour through them, which was convenient.

I am so glad I choose to stay here! I thought it was cool that they pick you up in a long boat to get to the resort, especially since when the ferry arrives it's just pure chaps thru town so to get on that boat and take in the beauty of the island was really nice. I loved my room and view. I ate lunch there before walking to town (20-30 mins with kind of uneven terrain) and thought the food was delicious. They also had some cats, one who kept me company while I ate, which I enjoyed! Overall, the staff was all friendly, helpful and kind. I really enjoyed it here. Plus there were trails linking up with the resort all around!

The shower was outside, which wasn't awful, however, the water pressure wasn't great. But that would really be my only complaint. And perhaps make sure to keep your balcony window shut when sleeping or you may wake up to monkeys trying to get into your room like I did- lesson learned there! Haha
