The room was super - very large with a walk in wardrobe and a fridge. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The bathroom was huge with a great shower and bath. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choices. I had the swimming pool and thermal baths to myself on Monday, although it was very busy at the weekend.

Getting there was tricky because it is next to a slip road that hadn’t been finished so that you couldn’t come off the road southbound. Our sat nav took us to somewhere completely different. Our advice is to use the GPS co -ordinates as they did manage to get us there despite the complicated road layout.

The place is like a rich palace from the 80s. Great marble from Siena, amazing views and relaxing environment. The room was very big, a lovely shower and bath, and a very comfortable huge bed.

The place lacks soul, and by that, I mean the people who work there. Ordered a machiatto and received an expresso with cold milk on the side. During dinner, the same waiter forgot my wine, and when I ordered potatoes, he brought them as a starter. Breakfast is the same, lack of attention, and if like no one cares that you are there. Same waiter again, maybe tired of doing 16 hours a day. Overall, the place is amazing but lacks attention to detail and care from the staff that works there. They put us on a room facing the main highway, even though the hotel was almost empty (details) with all the noise of the road.

The spa and rooms were terrific! Even thought the Turkish part of the spa was closed, and they closed very early (way too early for what we wanted), they were very nice and well-kept!

Everything was very good, and some even excellent (the rooms, breakfast, thermal spa - except for the early closure each day at 7:00pm). The bartender, Marte, was exceptionally nice and treated us well. The only negative was the blonde lady waitress; she was very unfriendly, and it was very clear she was not happy there, and especially to have anything to do with us. But all the other employees were nice.

The hotel is very well located, offering an impressive view of the valley. The swimming pools are pleasant, though there is a slight smell of sulfur due to the natural hot spring — which is completely normal. In fact, having direct access to hot spring pools within the hotel is a real advantage Breakfast and dinner quality were very good, and we appreciated the possibility to eat with a nice view.

The staff was rather rude, particularly during breakfast and dinner service. Many tables were left uncleared, and some guests even had to clean them themselves in order to find a seat. Dinner also felt somewhat overpriced considering the quality. The sun loungers by the pool could be updated

We stayed with my husband for 2 nights for our anniversary, and it was great. Spacious clean room, big comfy bed, all the staff everywhere were amazing, buffet breakfast has a great variety of things to eat. I particularly loved (and this is the main reason we booked this place) the fact that the SPA with steam rooms, indoor pool, sauna and etc are unlimited hours per day. This is the first spa hotel that we stay at that doesn't have the 2-3 hour limit per day, which I find annoying. So it was lovely to stay all day at the spa! Opening hours are from 09:00- 18:30 so literally after breakfast you can soak in already, and there is a bar at the spa that you can grab a sandwich for lunch, it was very convenient and relaxing that you don't have to change and go elsewhere to get food. We also tried the restaurant for dinner, the food was just ok.

I can see why some people were complaining about the interior and the spa decaying, but they were exaggerating a bit and it did not affect the quality of our time being there together.

The rooms are really great! The beds are super comfy. Pools and spa is a little bit “tired” in terms of the state of the infrastructure, but still amazing. The nature around is amazing, if it would have some walking routes with lights it would be unbelievable!

We were staying at the hotel when the season was over, so the lack of the waiters at the restaurant lead to more than 1 hour waiting for the food to arrive. Poor young waiter kept on forgetting things because he was the only waiter at the whole restaurant. And it seems like the hotel ran out of the products for the breakfast on the last day of our stay. If the Mercury chain would invest some money in this place, it could be one of the best places I have ever been to.

This is a spacious, generously proportioned hotel with impressive marble lined public areas. It is a thermal spa hotel and although we were offered robes, slippers and caps for a fee, this was not a hard sell and the spa facilities, included in the cost, were superb. The room was large, well lit with a bath and large shower. We loved staying here but it might be useful to know that there are very few villages or towns nearby to find alternative eating places. The food in the hotel was well priced and tasty but if you like a wee bar of chocolate with your Italian temperature cappuccino, then think ahead. We also booked very relaxing massages at reasonable prices. All in all, somewhere I would go back to and recommend to friends looking for a rural retreat with great views.

The staff at this hotel is absolutely amazing. The front office team and the restaurant staff are incredibly customer-focused and will do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel is nestled in the heart of nature, offering breathtaking views. We had a great experience

Since there are no nearby amenities, it's essential to have a car if you want to explore the nearby cities or dine outside the hotel's restaurant. However, the hotel's menu is good.

Beautiful location in the Tuesday countryside, large rooms and very big bathroom.

In the summer they could keep the outdoor pool open a bit later, also the indoor spa area is only open until 6pm and that’s too early. Two more hours would allow to make a better use of the facilities. The restaurant could use more variation in the menu. We stayed 4 nights and they had the same 3 things every night. Also food quality not good enough for a 4 star hotel. Especially in an area in the middle of nowhere Where are you have to drive 20 minutes in windy roads to get to any other place.

The hotel was spotless and very nice, keeping a hotel this big so clean and well kept is impressive. The rooms big and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was nice and well priced. The young lad singing durning our aperitif was phenomenal and made the evening even more enjoyable. Lovely pools with plenty of space for everyone.

I think the male staff at the restaurant and breakfast need more training and a bit of motivation, the female staff were all very prepared and enthusiastic.
