Family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teen girls and 8yr old girl) on a trip to go to Silver beach in St Joseph Michigan. We had a great time! Of course every place has pros and cons. Here's ours... Pros: Affordable..3 nights and 4 days for right at $500. Breakfast..hot, good selection, kept it refilled quick Pool..warm Room..large and comfortable Beds/bedding.soft, comfortable and NO BUGS :) COFFEE, COFFEE, COFFEE free at all times Staff got us anything we needed Staff pleasant and helpful Location..close to stores and attractions Free wifi and it actually worked great Free cable TV Pull out sofa in our room

Cons: Didn't have coffee pot in room 1st night and said we'd have to ask for one at the front desk but staff got one for us 2nd night and brought it to the room. No exhaust fan in bathroom. No scooper for ice bucket but we just used an extra cup for a scooper. Pool was small, no hot tub and no towels in pool room but all you do was ask Staff and they brought us some. Biggest thing I didn't like was that there was no seating outside which is important to me since I'm from the country and we spend a lot of time outside. That's it, all I can think of that I didn't like. Everything else was perfect and we would love to stay here again.

Clean, comfortable room and hotel. Good location. Arika at the desk was very helpful & friendly. Shay who was working today at breakfast was doing a FANTASTIC job! She was extremely busy trying to keep up with everything but remained pleasant & positive. She was the hardest working staff member we saw. All the people who were there eating when we were were impressed with the job she was doing. I know that because I heard many giving her compliments. She needed help (our observation) but she was handling everything well & without complaint. You have a great employee there.

No coffee maker in room but we asked & were given one. The ad said there was one in the room but this is the 2nd time we've stayed here yet had to ask for one. There were literally 3 tissues in the Kleenex box so we ran out the 1st day. Housekeeping should always ck things like this & if low, leave an extra box.

Hotel decor and layout nice…staff was friendly in the reception and breakfast nook. I would like to mention that in my room, the waste container was not completely emptied in the suite area and the bed cover had a funky mildew smell. (I just pushed the spread aside.) In the bathroom, the base of the shower floor had dirt remnants, hair and there were grease pencil markings on the shower walls indicating that the shower surround was marked for that room. Otherwise the room was comfortable and laid out nicely.

Hotel open 5 mo when my spouse and I were there in April 2025. It smelled new and fresh. Very clean. Staff was friendly and available. Room was very big with 1 king bed, a desk & chair and a couch of sorts in the corner which my spouse used to watch tv. It was padded on the bottom and sides and handy for watching tv or working on laptop. Had the usual microwave, ironing board and mini fridge. Shower had liquid body wash, shampoo and conditioner. All were Dove products. No noises heard. Cracker Barrell and Starbucks very close. I thought it was great.

AC unit was out so hallways were stifling hot and we weren't told about it at check in or prior to. The room we reserved had a handicap shower. My husband is recovering from surgery. That room wasn't ready so they "" upgraded" us to a different room ... So called queen suite .. but the shower was not handicap accessible. It was 1 night so not a huge deal... But 2 hours plus after checkin why wasn't our reserved room ready?

The staff was friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom were great. Style, design, comfort of beds and room were all wonderful. We loved the breakfast - delicious- yet we were sad there was no bacon, yogurt, a few items we wanted, but were not available. Overall an excellent experience, thank you 😊

The breakfast was good, but the employee who had to manage it was understaffed for the number of people staying in the hotel. It would be better if she had additional help in the busy summer months with lots more families. The food ran out only because she could not keep up alone. The garbage was overflowing, and the front desk should have lent a hand. She was still pleasant and helpful.

It's a new hotel or refurbished, can't tell the difference, right by the motorway, but that was fine, you could hear the traffic but it wasn't that bad. We had a big room,big bed, everything was working, lady at the reception was really lovely, breakfast was good, but everything was disposable as it is in the US. You have Aldi store right by the hotel, you had Meijer within 5mins on foot.

Big drawback is that it is a cashless hotel.

Very clean, new construction within three months. Had flavored creamer for my coffee is always a win! Hot breakfast!

When we got here, their key machine was not working so we couldn’t get a key so they had to escort us up and down to our room each time we wanted to leave, but overall staff was super super friendly and accommodating. The only downfall that I really saw was the hot breakfast was over warmed up/cooked so things were a little bit crispy and dried out.

Clean, newer build, staff were awesome, layout of room was good. Anytime we crossed paths with an employee they said hello and their exchanges were genuine.

Couldn’t figure out the TV remote but we could have called desk— not a big deal. Free breakfast noisy, but not unique to this hotel. Recommend women to bring a lighted mirror or something as bathroom lighting pretty dim. Again, not a big deal.
