The unit we had was very private and had a lovely outlook with lots of trees including fruit trees which was really cool. The Packhouse Market is directly across the road. The staff are super friendly and accommodating.

There was this intermittent buzzing which got really annoying. We deduced that it was most likely the door buzzer from the chocolate factory next door as people came and went. Not a problem if you are out for the day though. Also the spa bath was very noisy, really put us off having anymore after the first one.

We were met by a wonderful host, who made us feel very welcome and showed us to our apartment, even had a complimentry beverage for us to enjoy. The apartment was laid out beautifully and had everything we needed, it was clean and beds were really comfortable, it was private and looked out onto lovely kept gardens. Location was excellent and close to everything we needed, with lots to do nearby. Highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay! Everything you need for a family stay is all here. Beds are nice and comfy, and it was quite clean and very peaceful at the time of our visit. Good variety of channels on TV, and a cute kitchen with all the essentials, but BYO oil if you're planning on cooking 😀. Complimentary drinks on arrival was such a surprise and also very kind of the motel, just what you need after a long trip.

Hot water went fast after filling up the spa bath. Had to wait an hour or so till the shower was nice and hot again. But that was ok, did not think about that before filling up LOL

The husband and wife team were inviting extremely accommodating even cook me a dinner meal even though I didn't book one went the extra mile with the beers too man that's all one man could ask for and they are both very approachable I'll be back can't rate them high enough even the other guest were great we all met by the pool and we mixed just like a family hey and we all came from different walks of life na love the place and it was my very time there too Che guys lez

Waking up and leaving

The peaceful setting of the property, nestled amongst beautiful gardens and fruit-bearing trees. There are also resident doves which perch in surrounding trees. Great location tucked away off the main road into Kerikeri, you don't get any of the street noise and it's location is within only minutes of Kerikeri township.

Unit was clean and very well presented. Loved the privacy. The pool area amazing and a great area to relax under the gazebo on a nice summers day. We will be visiting this Motel again and stay longer.

Unit would benefit from a heat pump/air con unit. However, the fan that was available was suitable to keep our room cool.

Staff remembered me from a previous visit. Just such lovely units. Great place to get away for a night or two, to relax, and recharge. Verandah at the back of the unit onto a small lawn covered by trees is real peaceful and great to have a break.

Umm...honestly I cannot fault this place.

Spacious and clean room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room has window screens and regular pest control so no bugs or insects. Host is super friendly. The salt water pool feels so cool. 10/10 We’ll be back again next time we travel up north. Thanks Andrew. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 🎊

First & foremost, this motel is so much better than shown in the photos. It is modern, comfortable, clean,quiet and the units face onto a lovely garden with a balcony. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is on the main street into town - about 3 mins drive to centre of town. We enjoyed our stay here, highly recommend and would stay here next time.

- The comfort, tranquility and garden-like surroundings which provide guests with privacy - The motel is only a few minutes to Kerikeri's CBD by car - Staff service your room daily - Each motel suite has its own deck overlooking a garden - Lots of streaming and live TV entertainment options - the best I have seen at a motel/hotel in a long time - I didn't swim in the pool but it looked inviting

I can't find much to fault. I appreciated that they encourage guests to recycle, but there was nowhere to recycle food waste. Also, the internet was intermittent, though this was likely due to Cyclone Gabrielle. Maybe also invest in sturdier ironing boards when you replace these.
