New and clean hotel, excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable room with nice view, very good restaurant

There is no breakfast included in the room price. The curb to go to the parking is very high and sharp and the bottom of the car is scraped every time when going in and out.

Beautiful hotel, with excellent amenities. We used the gym daily. It was a really nice one. Had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable and was pleasantly surprised that they used Korres products for their bathroom amenities. They provided us with cozy robe and slippers on demand and a lavender pouch and shower steamers at night which was wonderful.

Wished they had valet or a bigger space for parking. It fills up fast. Was nervous leaving, thinking we wouldn’t get parking again. But there are other options close by. Valet would be great for that.

Booked it at a discount it was $200 a night for us on booking.com promotion well in advance and honestly a steal compared to the real price of $600-800 a night

Too many homeless shelters right next to the hotel. In fact as we went to walk at night there were just too many homeless people in the area and maybe that is common in Ottawa but around Rideau Street where this hotel is there are too many homeless. I know this isn’t the hotel’s fault and in fact they had heightened security measures in place but the location of hotel isn’t ideal to say the least.

The rooms are beautiful and so clean, large and luxurious. Nice little touches like complimentary bottle of water, nespresso pods etc is great.

Tbh the area but that isn’t the hotels fault. It’s super central and great for walking everywhere but there were quite a lot of homeless people ( so sad) and I didn’t feel that safe walking around later in the evening.

Very new, clean, nice amenities. Comfortable bed. Spacious rooms! Very nice and professional staff.

Location had a lot of unhoused people around and very dirty streets. Not the hotels fault though. Just wish the area felt a little cleaner and safer. Pool was a little small. Did not love the quality of the shampoo, and body wash provided.

Great location, near Byward Market and a short walk to the Parliament Buildings and Sparks Street. It’s not an issue with the hotel, but as our Capital city, I was disappointed in the look of Rideau Street. Of course, all the nice stores have moved into Rideau Centre, leaving many store fronts For Lease and a hangout area for kids.

For whatever reason, sometimes our room keys did not work in the elevator or in the room.

The room is spacious and the interiors are modern and clean. The bathroom is well lit and have the right amount of towels and toiletries. Location is just right across byward market, Parliament Hill and musuems.

The restaurant in the hotel could have more variety in their menu and could have a faster service.

Very comfortable beds, friendly and accommodating staff. Loved the early check in as it allowed my family to rest after a red eye flight

There was a fire, or maybe a fire drill, the day we landed. It could have been handled better with more clarity on what was going on, where to go, a little information after it was over to confirm what happened etc

Property was new and clean. The location was close to sites.

Be aware that the surrounding area is very “seedy” lots of homeless and drug activity taking place on the street. Quite an uncomfortable experience walking through each day.

The room was spacious and the bed and pillows super comfy. It was also very clean! The staff was nice and helpful. It was great to have a pool and sauna!

The parking lot quickly fill up so you have to go park at satellite parkings at night. For the price I would have expected more ameneties such as a robe or slippers but overall I would stay here again!
