We stayed in The Studio- everything was impeccable! We travel and stay in a lot of different places but the St Andrews is by far our favourite place and we cannot wait to come back! We indulged, each morning, with a cooked breakfast which also accompanied continental choices- there was nothing negative to say. We were very spoilt. The bed was incredibly comfy, the bathroom was spacious, bright and clean. The staff were lovely and very welcoming- we were able to check in slightly earlier than arranged due to us arriving in Exeter early.
🤷♀️ nothing bad to say, I can't find fault !

The location if this hotel was perfect for us. Exeter Quays was walking distance as was the city centre. If you don't fancy walking there is a bus that stops right outside and takes you straight into the city centre. The staff were so efficient and organised. The hotel rooms were spotless and even though ours wasn't the biggest we still had plenty room to store our things. The breakfast was lovely and nothing was to much trouble. The dinning room was a nice setting to have your breakfast. If I ever find myself visiting Exeter again this will be the place I'll be booking.
Can't think of anything negative about it.

Visiting friends so chosen for location but would also be ideal for exploring Exeter. Excellent car parking. Breakfast choice & quality very good. Full table service which was a bonus. Pleasant lounge areas available with TV. Room was clean.
Our room was on the third floor (no lift) which wasn’t ideal as my husband is in his mid seventies & regret not asking if another room was available. Would have appreciated being told prior to going to the room. The room was in the roof area so small with some restricted head room.

This is a very clean hotel, and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is good, and plenty of choice too, it also as a good sized car park we had no problem getting a space on our 3 night stay.
We had the studio apartment, which is said to be soundproof, not at all. The traffic noise from the main road is horrendous, the door for the apartment doesn't seal properly when closed, which lets this very nice apartment down. Hope the owner reads this and sorts it out for future guests. This was a big let for us, but other than that, everything else was good

The hotel looks to have been evection refurbished. It's a beautiful old building in pristine decorative order. We upgraded to a king room, which was lovely. It was ultra clean, spacious, and with a great shower.. Breakfast was really nice and the waitress was very helpful and pleasant. The Quay was a 15-minute stroll and town centre about 25 minutes.
There wasn't a bar as such, but I saw a notice for a mini bar in the hotel, although not in the rooms. Our room overlooked the main route into the city, and as I like to sleep with the windows open, it was quite noisy.

I have no negatives at all, really. Room was a single and it was small but it had everything needed for a short stay - and very clean. I was quite impressed that the bed was made daily and clean towels if needed - seems a rare thing now in hotels since Covid, so well done. Nice breakfast and coffee. I have never been to Exeter before and we were there just for a few days for a specific reason so didn't get to see very much, but from what I did see the hotel is ideally situated for most things - and B bus stops more or less outside the hotel to go in to Exeter and back again! There is an Aldi, Iceland and The Range across the road, very handy. The staff at the hotel were very kind and friendly. The Christmas tree is lovely too!
For some reason there were no main channels on the TV- BBC, ITV etc, just some Freeview channels. I'm sure if I'd have asked it would have been sorted

This a very nice family run hotel, we stayed for 5 nights. All the staff were polite and helpful, the beds are very comfortable including pillows. The hotel offers a nice breakfast included in the room rate and you can choose from continental or full English or even mix and match and no questions asked, they aim too please. I would certainly stay it this hotel again it offers excellent value for money.
Absolutely nothing to do with the hotel and staff. Just one very annoying bad mannered guest who I am sure was after some sort or rate reduction.

The hotel felt clean and warm. Staff friendly. Nice lounge furniture and dining room layout. Check in and check out very simple. Nice cooked breakfast, although one egg is enough. Maybe the menu stated two fried eggs and if I had seen that I would have asked for one. My husband ended up with three eggs 🤣 For us the location (near family) was perfect. We have stayed once before some years ago.
Entrance to car park very tight - and we have a Mini, so not huge. Had to put wing mirrors in. Next time we would use the exit to go in! Our room only had a wall light and socket and table one side of the bed due to the shape of the room. My husband likes cereal and as I remember, that was not on the menu for breakfast.

The St Andrew’s hotel looks stunning is decorated with great artistic and esthetic mixture and brings lovely friendly atmosphere. Incredible clean and tidy with a very good quality of furniture gives you a high standard of all those rooms. Delicious food and various offers at menu shows you that staff cares about their customers. What impressed me the most ? The masterclass business service at the restaurant and at the reception in every single situation. The qualifies of this hotel attracts me to come back and I can truly recommend with a massive THANK YOJ.
The silence during the breakfast service. In my opinion should be a chill out / classical music vibes served with food as well.

Friendly check in, room was very clean, had everything I needed particularly as I was going to a wedding, so mirrors and plugs all in the right place, TV, tea/coffee facilities. Well lit shower room with plenty of natural light. Breakfast room was very welcoming again with lots of natural light, food was freshly cooked and plentiful if you have a cooked breakfast. Nice lounge with TV near entrance. Walking distance from Exeter town Crntre and Exeter St Thomas station.
Main road location, my room was on side of property with window directly looking into someone’s residence. I had a single room but it was tight moving around the limited space in the room. This might be because it had a queen size bed in it. Shower was good but I prefer a hand held shower attachment as well. Perhaps more fresh fruit choices for breakfast.
