Very Good breakfast. Location good
Appearance a bit shabby. Plastic hanging pots full of weeds. On booking led to believe dinner would be available and sign outside said homemade food, but they were not serving food and we had to go to another local pub for dinner. We understand this was due to awaiting new landlord and staff were just covering. Unhappy that loud music was playing till midnight in the bar as apparently it was free juke box night. When looking for someone to ask for the music to be turned down, it was difficult to find someone and when we did staff member was very reluctant to do so, even though there was only a couple of guys in the bar playing pool.

Lovely lady ...only took over the pub 3 weeks ago. . One or two little hiccups but she listens and is determined to make everything as enjoyable and comfortable as she can for her guests. Perfectly situated for visiting Exeter and surroundings. Cooked breakfast very good ).
Early days for the new tenant..she is a worker and is determined to have any little 'hiccups (no WiFi at the moment and TV not working ...no big deal for us) ironed out asap. We wish her much success in her new enterprise.

The accommodation was lovely and clean. Facilities were of a very good standard and the proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again as the price suited our budget £90 for a twin bedroom for me and my son for 1 night
The breakfast was not great, e.g. the bacon was not very hot but was still edible.

welcoming, easy to find, comfortable room, great book exchange and tasty breakfast. room facilities great.
shower took a while to warm up, but apart from this, lovely soft towels and super clean room.

Friendly people and nice relaxed atmosphere.
Landlady only recently moved in so trying to get everything up and running at the moment. Will be a really good place to stay if everything gets sorted.

Location near to iberian horse show westpoint arena n Dawlish. Made to feel really welcome and at home. Nothing I asked was any trouble.
The fact that it was dog friendly. I didn't take my dog bcos booking. Com said no pets but I was assured by the owner that it was please amend.

We checked in very late , almost at closing time,and they're super welcoming,the kitchen was closed and even though they gave us dinner . The room was amazing very spacious and clean.
We have to leave earlier in the morning and we couldn't say goodbye and thanks in person.

Incredibly good value cooked breakfast only £5. Also nice to see the Gideon Bibles are in the bedroom drawer - so many places stopped doing that which was sad, but Stowey Arms maintain that good tradition.

The small single room was comfortable, clean and the bathroom was fine. The staff were welcoming and helpful. There was a kettle and everything needed to make coffee or tea.
The TV had no reception at all.
