Location is very good. Easy free parking. Staff are helpful and nice. Rooms very clean. Kettle and tea coffee facilities in the room. Hair dryer in the room. Negatives are, bar is not open permanently, also no food/restaurant, is closed permanently. I asked the reception if I could borrow x2 wine glasses to take to our room, and they were happy to accommodate me. Also, as you come out of the hotel, turn left, and 0.2 mile on the road, there is a bar and restaurant in a holiday camp, and they are very happy for your custom. Also, 1 mile away, there is a wonderful pub that does fantastic food, called Ley Arms, which is really worth a visit. The hotel was good value for money. Nice big and very comfortable bed.

Lovely and clean. Easy to find and park. Comfortable bed. Very easy check-in. The restaurant was closed, but once it opens again, it looks like a good place for meals and breakfast.

Not sure why there weren't any bedside lights - the main room lights were way too bright to enjoy the room, so we had to turn them off and rely on the light from the bathroom. There wasn't a hairdryer, and there wasn't anyone around in the morning to ask.for one.

The manager was very helpful and friendly, he went out of his way to help, for instance the famiy room at the top of the building was quite warm, although having 2 fans in there, there was also an air conditioning unit which needed an extension cable to reach the electric socket, on arrival the cable was missing and the manager/guy on shift popped out to get us 1, which made for a more comfortable stay. The hotel is by a busy road, so some noise is to be expected, also the family room which was quite spacious and suited our needs happened to be on the side of the hotel facing the road. There may be rooms which are shielded more from the traffic. We ate out, so lack of food facilities was not a problem for us.

Really nice hotel and I like the renovation that has been done. Really warm welcome from the staff and they were extremely helpful (even printed off some bits for us that we needed for a concert). There was free parking at the hotel despite some of the reviews saying there isn’t And the restaurant was open and had some really good food that kept us going Overall a really good experience

Not much to fault, Maybe that the AC in the room was a little loud, but I think that was down to having first turning it on and not allowing it to cool the room down first! Also being by the motorway the noise from the road wasn’t as bad as some people said.

Everything met our expectations, immaculate, quiet, off street parking, the manager extremely helpful, giving us information about the area & the best place to park in Exeter.

No internet service due to someone hitting a pole on the day before Easter, which meant nothing was going to be sorted before Tuesday. Not the hotels fault.

Free WiFi no need to log in Spacious room and you had a bath separately from a shower and bathroom was big , large bed as well

Really silly thing there was no spoons in room to make a cup of tea or coffee there was just a stiring stick , for how lovely the room was and bathroom etc tiny details like spoons would make it perfect

Excellent size room with all amenities. Very clean and comfortable. FYI £15-25 to get to Exeter central but taxis can be booked up at UOE graduation times

Some road noise as expected but mitigated well by double windows. No breakfast/restaurant facilities when we left at 11 but we were slightly later than standard

Really lovely, our hot water didn’t work in our room but it was quickly sorted and we were able to move rooms easily! We had a lovely stay and even though it was close to the motorway you couldn’t hear a thing at night.

We thought there might be an option for breakfast but unfortunately there is not so we had to go to the hotel next door (which for what it is, is expensive so wouldn’t recommend) would love for a choice of just an easy breakfast

Very helpful, food excellent, very clean.

1st room the bathroom had a very bad smell, so ask to change rooms, and within 5m we had a new room. Tv didn't work in 2nd room, but we didn't complain as we were out all day . We did pay for a superior room our friend's didn't and they ended up with the best and largest room.

The location was fine for me. A little out of town but could walk to the bus stop to get into Exeter.

I had read a mixed bag of reviews after booking but was pleasantly surprised. It suited my needs and was a functional place. No Frills. Fine.
