Reasonably priced for our needs. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and basic, had all we needed for our short stay. Location is outside of Exeter City centre, we used a park and ride to go into centre which was 5-10min drive away. We had breakfast included in price - very basic, buffet and menu for hot, not the best full breakfast I've had. Restaurant for an evening meal was excellent, though, food really good. However, second night the service good to begin with but long wait for our dessert.. Server gave free drink for the inconvenience. Believe they only had one chef on and restaurant was fairly busy. I also had free parking included in price which there was plenty off.

The breakfast was poor, compared to other hotels stayed in. My mistake but didn't realise not as close to city centre as wanted. Could have driven passed left turning into hotel as not clearly signposted. (SavNav worked otherwise could have driven passed turning)

This was my second visit to this hotel, and it didn't disappoint. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and made you feel welcome. The included breakfast was excellent. We also had dinner in the delightful restaurant and could not fault the food, which was delicious and reasonably priced. The beef lasagne was superb, the haddock and chips were great, and the curry was a wow. There is no problem parking the car as there are more than enough parking spaces, many close to our room. The room was adequate, spotlessly clean and perfect for our three-night stay. The hotel is ideally situated to plan days out. Overall, this hotel represents excellent value for money, and I look forward to my next visit.

To be really picky, an additional bedside cabinet would have been good.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had clean towels and bedding every day.

My daughter paid for me to have a meal at the restaurant for my birthday as it was my birthday during my stay. My friend and I ordered steak and when it arrived it was so tough we sent it back. We decided to order burgers. They were so greasy we left them too. The chips were greasy but we ate them because we were hungry. The dessert was nice. I had to lie to my daughter and tell her the meal was lovely.

Fabulous room, with ensuite shower room including handsoap, shower gel and luxury towels. Lovely restaurant and bar. Great selection for breakfast including full English, variety of cooked egg options, herbal tea on request. All facilities on ground floor. Located just off the M5 before joining A30 to Cornwall. Plenty of EV charging points available just need own charging cable. We will definitely stop over here again when visiting family in Cornwall. Staff were all very friendly and keen to ensure we had a good stay with them.

This hotel is fantastically located, right by the A38/A380. Yet the road noise was not a problem in the slightest, could not hear any traffic inside the room. The rooms look like they have been refurbished recently and are of a good standard. It was hygienically clean (a deeper clean in the bathroom is required, if I'm being fussy, around the fiddly bits, tap, bath rails, maybe the bathroom floor). But having stayed in many varying hotels, this is still about average for the price and rating The bed was comfy, and the pillows were decent. The food was OK, we ate twice in the evening and had breakfast each morning. I wouldn't say the breakfast was value for money, as it was a small portion. But it was of a good enough standard taste wise. The staff were very good, very attentive and helpful. Parking is plentiful and close to the rooms

Second time staying here breaking our journey to the West Country. Exeter Court would be very hard to beat for value for money. The basic room was small but looked newly refurbished and very clean. Shower was good with plenty of hot water. The dinner was very tasty and reasonably priced, enjoyed by all in our party of six. Hot breakfasts are cooked to order. Staff were all extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Located so close to the motorway you might think road noise was a concern but it really isn’t. We couldn’t hear traffic at all. Cannot praise this hotel enough.

The room was freshly painted, very clean and comfortable. The bedding was very clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was modern and the shower good. Good range of tea and coffee in our room and toiletries in the bathroom. Our evening meal in the restaurant was lovely and very good value. The breakfast was basic but adequate. Good vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and helpful. The receptionist turned the heating on for me as our room was cold. Exceptional value for money. Great for a night or two but I wouldn't want to spend a week there.

We had to walk across the car park to get to the restaurant and it was pouring with rain. I kept banging my head on the wooden headboard. I could hear the cleaners talking in the corridor and they were a bit loud. Maybe they should think about what they're saying as they are probably unaware that guests can hear every word.

Everything was Great. All the Staff were great. Very friendly and efficient. As soon as you enter the hotel reception, it feels great. Clean, modern. Reception was friendly and very helpful. The room was lovely. Clean, well appointed. We ate in the restaurant. Once again. It felt great. New, clean. Well appointed. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. Superb value for money. Breakfast once again was lovely. Restaurant and bar area felt clean and modern. Position of the hotel was excellent for us. 1 minute of the A38. 10 out of 10 all round.

Have stayed at the Exeter Court before partly because of its location just off the A38 which makes it perfect for an overnight stay on route [although travelling north it's a little trickier to get to than off the southbound dual carriageway.] Clean rooms and a restaurant on site with very good food at reasonable prices.

No air conditioning but the window did open a short way and a fan was provided. The location is very convenient for travel but not in a particularly attractive environment or close to shops etc.

The welcome was amazing and the staff super helpful. We went to a concert so we knew we would be back late, but the helpful info about the night Porter and his phone number really reassured us! Nice bed, pillows a bit soft for me, but I have definitely had worse! Breakfast was lovely, but would advise to go early if the hotel is busy!!

Shower was a bit "powerless" could have done with a pump! Also the pump dispensers in the shower needed to be "pulled up" after pumping to dispense enough shower gel etc.
