The hotel was ideally situated; all attractions were within easy walking distance and the Pavillion was really close too. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had stunning views of the beach. Our bathroom was also large with a bath and overhead shower. We'd read a few reviews saying that the hotel was a bit run down and tired and had expected as much, but were pleasantly surprised as neither our room, the bar area, or the breakfast room could be described this way - all looked brand spanking new and well maintained. The jewel in the crown though was Tom on reception who was pleasant, polite, and incredibley helpful. He's a real asset to the hotel and really looked after us both - especially my friend who is partially blind. We loved every minute of our stay and cant wait to return. Excellent value for money.

The only suggestion I would make is that the bathroom is large enough to have a chair in it and this would have been helpful to my partially sighted friend.

The hotel need a bit of maintenance work . When you switch the light in our bathroom the little fan was making horrible noise. My son was scared to go to toilet. Also they need better curtains in the windows. During the night the lights from the the rides on the beach were lighting up our room. Water pressure in the shower was bad.

Room was large and clean ...I've stayed here a few times a fantastic stay especially the Duo on Friday night excellent and very relaxing...if your after a 4 or 5 star stay dont bother the hotel is a good 3 star very roomy and clean ..the staff are fantastic... and the beach is 15 mtrs in front of the hotel an excellent beach plus the shops are 5 minutes away ...parking can be a problem..but that's the only downside.... I've stayed here many times and have always had a great stay .. no problems at all ...plus they allow my PTSD dog and the staff all know her name which is a nice touch

In room 106 the coffee cups were like a children's tea party size ..half a mouthful in size

Room was very clean and tidy, very spacious, up to date too! Lovely person at the front desk and very helpful, both of them that were there. This is the best place we’ve stayed in Weymouth and we will definitely come back!

Only thing is the toilets in the hallway for everyone to use, the public one, the female toilet was a little messy, about 7 toilet rolls finished and left on the side when there is a bin in there, toilet paper all over the floor too. I did clean this up as had no other issues but doesn’t impact anything that much, just don’t expect to be cleaning up after people on my time off!

Location is brilliant, couldn't be positioned better,opposite the beach, very close to the harbour and town,its in a perfect spot.Staff at the hotel are excellent, very helpful nothing seems to much to help and assist you.Would definitely stay there again and recommend to family and friends. Lovely helpful staff,

The room was nice and was clean, we had a sea view room, it wasn't a very big room or window but was adequate,only thing we didn't like was putting bathroom toiletries on the floor in the shower, no shelves and when your getting on a bit bending down to use shampoo and such like isn't good.Also only one mirror in the bathroom could definitely do with one over the dressing table in the bedroom and a full length mirror perhaps inside the wardrobe door which a lot of Hotels do to check your respectable to go out

It's an attractive quirky hotel with really helpful friendly staff. We had a great view of the sea front from our second floor window. We slept well in a really comfy bed and enjoyed the waterfall shower. There is an excellent Southern Indian restaurant onsite with the best fish dishes we've ever tasted. And there was even a jazz pianist/singer in the lounge on Friday night. We were even given a little gift on our anniversary. Perfect! Thank you all so much :)

The loo was seperate to the en-suite shower, with one of those toilets with the hand basin on top - making best use of space and water. The only issue was not having somewhere to hang a hand towel. As I said - the hotel is quirky with wonky floors and sash windows - but this all adds to the character we loved.

It had the basic facilities you'd expect from in the room, decent bed, bath, shower, a kettle with tea and coffee, great location with sea view. We didn't have the breakfast but the option of a continental breakfast was available and there was a bar next to reception that we also did not try but looked like a decent spot to have a night cap.

The location and the sea view was the highlight for us. The staff were also very friendly and offered advice and were helpful.

The property was very well located on the beach front and we treated ourselves to the deluxe sea view room with a side view across the beach. The view was amazing and we watched the sun rise on Saturday morning from the bed as the view was amazing. The small table and chairs made it relaxing to have drinks looking across the bay. The staff were amazing and very friendly (in fact they couldn’t do enough for us, even spent time trying to help us get to Durdle Door using public transport). We enjoyed drinks in the bar playing cards and just relaxing. We didn’t try the restaurant but it was very popular and smells really yummy!

I can’t say there’s anything I disliked about the property as the room we had was amazing!, however being on the seafront it can be quite noisy with people walking past. At night once I was asleep I slept like a log and felt refreshed on the morning.

We stay here quite regularly and always have a lovely stay. . Staff are so friendly and helpful and this time had our room ready early as we had an afternoon event to attend. Will always choose this hotel if available.

Unfortunately on this occasion a (what sounded like) a young couple returned from a night out at 3am and proceeded to have an hour long , very loud disagreement on the stairs outside our room. But in fairness this hasn’t happened before on any other stay .

Cheap, great location on the sea front, room was lovely, spacious and furnished nicely

We booked this hotel on the basis that it had a lift for my mother who is in a wheelchair. There's 5 steps at the front that lead up to the reception area and when we got there we were told the lift wasn't working and the rooms were on the 2nd floor. However the staff were excellent and they were able to sort a much more appropriate room at their sister hotel 150m away.
