From the very first moment we were warmly welcomed by the owner Tufan and his wife Elif as well as by Ali. They all were so extremely friendly, they gave us the feeling of arriving as guests, but leaving as a friends. We appreciated that they were so flexible with breakfast. Actually they stop serving at 10am, but they offered to serve us whenever we come back from our morning expedition of the Travertines. That breakfast was in a class of itself: omelettes, homemade tomato sauce with onions, spicy sausages, a plate with Turkish goodies, fresh melon, cheese, homemade jams and toasted bread. Ali was so attentive and was always willing to supplement whatever was eaten. And çaj, well, after the Travertines I was so thirsty, I think I had 6 cups. In the afternoon they flagged down the mini bus to the Northern Gate for us. It was this genuine hospitality, helpful attitude and genererosity that we so loved. On the side: Tufan‘s family has a background in carpet weaving and he has access to wonderful, high quality carpets, many of which are in the reception area. If you are remotely interested in carpets, Tufan will happily show you the different carpets (they are all stunningly beautiful) and will offer you a fair deal. I wish we would have booked for longer, as Pamukkale and the region has far more to offer than just the Travertines. Anyway, a good reason to visit again! We highly recommend the Cotton House!

The room at The Cotton House Hotel was nice with a comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, and a view from the balcony. Easy parking and great location with a bus stop and grocery store very close by. What made the place exceptional was the owner, Mr. Tufan and his family. They care deeply for their guests and are friendly and courteous. The Turkish breakfasts were wonderful and more than plentiful. I had their dinners each of the three nights I was there. The home cooked food was very good and reasonably priced. Mr Tufan gave me helpful information for visiting Hierapolis and the travertines. I also booked a very nice hot air balloon flight through the hotel. Their son manages a local company for balloon flights. I felt very welcomed at The Cotton House and would definitely stay there again!

We'd informed them that we were vegetarians. Tufan and his wife went beyond our expectation in providing us vegetarian options - for the bf AND dinner that we had with them. It was way more convenient to just have our meals with them and we were so happy we did that. After a long day of travel & hours of walking around to sight see. it was amazing for us tired, hungry souls to come back to the hot meals, hospitality and conversation in the lovely, warm space they'd created for this. Food options offered were typical Turkish items. There was lovely tea on offer whenever we needed one. Tufan helped and advised with all options for sight-seeing, hot air balloon trip, arranged for taxi, helped with public transport details. In fact, even when we called him from elsewhere, he helped us resolve transportation. Room & bathroom looked new (though they are built around 2019-20) and linen was lovely, clean. There's a supermarket close by for any additional items one needed.

Can't think of anything really. All was great.

This hotel is run by a couple and they were really nice and helpful! The room was clean and cozy. Food was excellent as well as the location. I came here to visit Pamukkale. The site is quite huge and could be pretty tiring to visit without good planning. The owner asked what I’d like to see in there and offered a very reasonable recommendation on route - I got to see everything and didn’t need to go back and forth. The hotel is 5 mins walk away from one of the main exits of Pamukkale so very convenient. Thanks for having me!

Amazing hosts and hospitality. The family that owns and runs this place were great. The mom and daughter-in-law cooked an amazing traditional Turkish dinner for us, the son was helpful with our arrival, and the dad ensured that we had a great stay, and gave us information about visiting Pamukkale. The room was big and clean, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here, although it was just 1 night. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Pamukkale.

We stayed here for two nights and found the location to be very convenient (on the bus route so bus stopped for us in front of the hotel, walking distance to town gate (aka middle gate) to Pamukkale Travertines and close to restaurants). In addition the owner and his wife were friendly and helpful, the breakfast (served in room) was very nice (homemade Turkish style breakfast) and the room was large and clean. We would happily stay here again! BTW, if you're looking for a great dinner option, try the Hiera Coffee & Tea House, you need to book a table but it's worth it!

Nothing.

We loved our stay at Cotton House. Tufan and his wife are amazing hosts!! The room was very cute and had everything we needed. The hotel is very close to the Hierapolis Site. Since we are vegetarian Tufan's wife and staff made special dishes for us!! Also, the homemade marmalades were delicious! Was a short stay nevertheless had meaningful conversations with Tufan. We wish we had more time to stay there. Would highly recommend the place!!

Nothing :)

This is small, fairly new property that opened in December 2019, right before the pandemic hit. It seems to be doing well, now that the tourists are returning. I didn't spend much time in the room, but it was just what I needed. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a kitchenette (sink, mini fridge, tea kettle), a small table with two chairs and an extra table in the corner to put stuff on. There was a great view of the travertines, and a small balcony. And the entire place was spotless -- one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was served in the room, and it was excellent. As a bonus, I had breakfast with a view of the travertines as well as hot air balloons. When it's warmer, breakfast is served in the garden. Tufan the owner was very friendly and so helpful. He went out of his way to drive me to an ATM, which was only a few blocks away. He booked a hot air balloon ride for me, and arranged transport from and to the airport. He helped me flag down the mini bus which stopped in front of the hotel. And he provided a recommendation for an excellent family-run restaurant for dinner. Thank you, Tufan for a wonderful stay. I hope your dreams of expanding the property come true soon!

The property is in the ideal location for the travertines. You can walk in five minutes to the bottom gate. If you don’t want to walk up the travertines then you can take a shuttle from the hotel which drops you off at the top and you can walk down after buying your tickets. You can get transportation to the north gate and South Gate, South Gate is easier than the north gate. The hotel serves you breakfast on your room which is quite nice because you can eat in your personal space! They make you a lovely selection of treats for breakfast. If I ever go back I will definitely stay here again. The host and his wife are both lovely and kind.

The location was really close to the traventines. The host and his wife were very helpful and know the area well so were able to give us useful information and advice Breakfast was served in the room at the time you request it which is lovely. The rooms and bathroom was spotless very clean. You can ask the host to give you the timings of a shuttle which takes you up to the ancient city ruins and traventines it cost us 15lira per person for the shuttle and the entrance fee was 700 lira person I think you should go to the site gate however I found that was closer. Unless you are a fit and healthy person then just walk from the hotel to the bottom of the traventines this takes 5 mins then it takes about an hour steep uphill

Nothing.
