Hotel has a wonderful location near Bow River walkway, Chinatown, and several blocks from the Calgary Tower and Stephens Avenue, where most of the restaurants shopping was located. So the location was perfect and walkable for us. The Shoe & Canoe bar/restaurant on site had a terrific happy hour (4-6) with good selection of beverages and small plate options (olives artichokes was awesome) as well as full service meal menus options for B, L and D. We discovered the +15 steps skywalk (look for the logo outside buildings on Stephens Ave) which is a maze of indoor walkways that connect buildings downtown to a mall and many shops, eateries, and services (good to use on a rainy day). Along the Bow River walkway (about 2 blocks from the hotel) there is an awesome coffee shop (Sidewalk Citizen) that served a delish salmon cream cheese toast and coffee. Free coffee was found in the hotel lobby. Travel from the hotel to airport was 25 minutes at the most. So awesome location and very helpful friendly staff.

Really good. All the facilities are superb, the food in the bar is excellent.
The surrounding area has a lot of homelessness which I guess cannot be helped. There’s a rehab and drop in clinic at the end of the street. We enjoyed the riverside walk in a morning, there’s a rehab centre at the end of 4th which should be avoided, just to save your nostrils from human excrement.

Good location for the city. The room was very good, comfortable, clean and tidy with good Wi-Fi. The sky walk linking the buildings is very good and keeps you off the roads
Being on floor 16. Probably not possible but to be given a choice on the floor would have been ideal. This is just a personal thing as i'm scared of heights. Parking. Be careful where you park as the ceilings are low unless you park in over size. I had a Grand Jeep Cherokee and parked on level 3 after being told it was OK, opened the boot and it hit the ceiling

Hotel location was good. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Enjoyed our dining experience in the hotel.
We missed our connecting flight from Denver to Calgary due to storms in Denver and we found contacting the hotel extremely difficult. Must have tried over a dozen times to ring the hotel and kept getting an answering service that kept disconnecting us from reception. Finally got through at approx 11.30pm to advise them not to give our room away as we were staying 2 nights. Very frustrated by the time we got through to reception.

We were in room 709. We had lovely views of the river. On arrival we were helped to take luggage to the room which was really appreciated. The room was very well equipped with tasty coffee, comfy beds, lovely shower, lots of flannels/towels and free toiletries and we could even open the windows which is not always the case. Despite being next to the Fire Station we didn't get bothered by the sound. The bar/restaurant, Shoe and Canoe has an excellent menu - I really enjoyed the trout! You can pay the hotel for parking overnight.

The property is in a great location- walking distance to the river, Calgary tower, and some really good restaurants. It's also right across the street from the pickup point for day tours.
The only downside is the food options and room service available is pretty limited

The location is very central, not far from the airport, or the main attractions. The hotel is in a quiet area, and as it is part of downtown, it provides easy access to the Saddledome and other venues.
I would have liked a microwave either in the room or on floors. The a/c ~ heater was a bit erratic as I couldn't figure out how to get it not too hot not too cold

Location and convenience to attractions and great restaurants.
Annoying to always have to pay for parking even though I have already paid for a hotel accommodation. Hotels should cover the parking for hotel guests. I guess, I’m just used to USA hotels where there is no extra charge for parking at their location.

modern, clean, spacious, beautiful decor
the food ordered in for room service was pretty terrible. not to mention how long it took for someone to actually pick up the phone to order in. i had to call 5 times just to get the front desk to eventually find someone for me to talk to to order a meal up after arriving. the meat on the sliders was hard and dry and there was no cheese or anything else on them as described. dining in the restaurant was a good experience though, wish room service reflected that too with the price of the food. fire alarm went off and got woken up and had to stand outside in my pajamas .. not the property’s fault but pretty unfortunate.
