The sea view was exceptional looking right over the entire Poniente beach. The balcony had two chairs and a small table. The location was superb and minutes from bars and restaurants The breakfast choice was very good and not just limited to continental. The air conditioning was good and there were two lifts which reduce waiting time. The refurbishment and unusual décor importantly distinguished it from the previous poorer Esmerelda Hotel. The reception team were professional and helpful. They kindly printed me off my return boarding card from my email and booked me taxis. The room was well serviced each day except Sunday with plenty of new fluffy white towels.

The bar area, which could have been an major asset, was never open for the entire week. When I looked in it was empty and unstaffed and so I used the Hotel Montemar next door to entertain friends, whose drinks, coffee bar and roof terrace bar were very good. This was the Pop Art Hotel's major fault in my opinion. I do not know if this was always the case or if I had been unlucky. Everything else was good or better.

Seems to be run on low budget, and sadly, the pictures don't reflect what you get. Asked for cups and spoons for room (after paying deposit for a kettle) - they only offered paper cups and wooden stirers (as people keep stealing them, we were told). They don't offer reserved parking space. It's very hit and miss when a space becomes available. Was told to wait until 12 noon wasting day of holiday to see if space becomes available, which it didn't. Not well run hotel for the money they charge.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Old Town, with restaurants and bars all around. The staff were amazing, friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. They offer free lockers to store our baggage if you arrive early or want to stay around after check-out, which was super convenient. Another pleasant surprise was the room game area, perfect for groups to relax and play games. This wasn’t even mentioned in the accommodation description, so it felt like a bonus! We were so impressed with everything that we decided to extend our stay by one more night. The staff kindly let us keep our room, which made things so much easier and more comfortable. Breakfast was included and featured nice coffee and a variety of food options. For a three-star accommodation, this was way more than we expected. We were genuinely surprised by how good the overall experience was. Highly recommend this place—we’ll definitely be back!”

The hotel’s location is perfect! The beach is just a stone’s throw away, and there are two restaurants within walking distance. The friendly receptionist, Lukasz, a young man, is always smiling and ready to help. I really appreciate his efforts. I almost believe that customer service is dead, but Lukasz has proven me wrong. Luckily, that the air conditioning can be set to 20-21 degrees, not the freezing 24 degrees that other hotels offer, especially since I’m coming from the Netherlands. 20-21 degrees is already considered a normal temperature here. So, I slept like a baby.

I always forget to ask if it’s normal to not have a hot shower because the weather is usually around 37-45 degrees Celsius, which is quite hot! Breakfast, could be different per days and please have pancakes available.

Extremely comfortable bed (memory foam topper) and pillows. Situated in old town but not far at all(5min walk) to main town area/shops/restaurants and new town promenade. Breakfast was nice and adequate.... we were expecting continental but there was a selection of hot food also. We booked a sea view ....and a lovely view indeed. It was directly on to the road and double deck buses only a little below the balcony(1st floor), but quiet in the evenings so didn't really bother us. Large lockers available if requiring temp luggage storage before/after check in/out.

We arrived fully prepared (going to shop en route for water, milk etc) to find a small fridge but no kettle😖 (our fault, as after checking the description did not say there was a kettle).... but no problem, quick visit to reception and all sorted. Balcony doors were quite noisy and problematic trying to close/lock. Hotel can provide parking for €15 a day.... otherwise free parking seemed scarce and on street parking is metered and restricted. We spoke to a lovely traffic warden who spoke good English and was very helpful with options.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, enjoying our clumsy attempts at Spanish. Fantastic location, literally cross the road to the beach and you're close to the start of the new town where you want to dip in. Would have liked a pool for the choice, but not a big problem. Bit of advice though, if you can't get a seaview room, dont book. The street view (from 7th floor anyway) was awful and SO hot up there. We didn't breakfast there, so can't comment. All in all, I'd recommend this hotel, just make sure you get that sea view!!!

Fabulous location with incredible views and lovely staff. Breakfast was great, a good selection for such a small hotel, with quality coffee. The cleanliness in the room (as mentioned in other reviews) could be improved, but this is more on an attention to detail level, rather than anything feeling dirty, e.g. wiping dust off plug sockets, bedside light cords, air-conditioning remote etc. The 'big' items were very clean though. The bed was really comfortable and the views from the sea view rooms are unparalleled. An addition of a kettle in the room would be great, but there is a fridge. For the cost of the room, we thought it was amazing value and would certainly return and recommended. As long as guests are aware this is a value hotel with basic amenities, you will be very happy.

Bed comfy and bedding clean. Loved the little balcony facing the sea. Really nice at night time to hear the waves crashing. Bathroom was adequate the shower was really nice and Powerful and hot water. Room 104 is classed as economy double. The size of the bathroom was okay and the size of the bedroom area was okay. Towels nice and clean and white. Staff pleasant especially the new guy who started on reception.

I thought the breakfast could have been a little bit better in terms of provisions. Little bit basic. Would have been good to have a kettle in the room with tea coffee provisions. A few more coat hangers required. The three draws did not close properly. The shower gel and hair gel bottles fixed in the shower did not pump properly so I could not use it. The room was a little too cold for me also. The French doors are single glazed and there is a big draft that comes through the gap between the doors.

Got an early check in and upto 2 hour late check out for 10 euros per hour.Lovely big room with amazing views.Great aircon and very comfortable large bed. 2 very nice bar/restaurants near the property. No 2 bus and hop on bus stop outside.Safe and fridge in room.

The breakfast was very disappointing- only went 1st morning although husband said it got a bit better.Full english breakfast was luke warm and ingredients werent tasty. Aircon was leaking slightly and toilet seat was a it wobbly but didnt report as we were only there 3 nights

Easy, relaxing, no frills stay. Wasn't too upper class to make you feel uncomfortable about what you wear to breakfast. Fantastic location and price. Rooms cleaned every day and old towels replaced with clean ones. Very helpful staff. Quirky decor, but it works well, making it stand out

Sign saying lounge bar but not open, understandable with dedicated bars and restaurants so close. It could do with some updating, though. Other than that, there is nothing to complain about.
