The owners of the hotel are lovely and looked after us so well. The view from the hotel is stunning and it is in the prettiest part of Courmayeur. It is family run business and they are 4th generation. It is very traditional and quite simple but that is all that is needed for a mountain holiday. There was a big choice of food for breakfast and you can also eat dinner there but we preferred to walk to one of the nearby restaurants or explore town. The hotel is comfortable, pretty and very clean. We felt very at home there and we hope to return. It is walking distance from the Dolonne ski lift which very quickly gets up to the main ski area.

Super convenient for the ski lift, about 5 mins walk. We could ski back with an even shorter walk home. We drove so that we could explore the Aosta valley and the free undercover parking was great. Breakfast was lovely, dinner was good although there weren’t many vegetables. The bathroom was modern and the water was hot. Francesca was a lovely host who took a real care over her customers, and she gave us helpful tips of where to go.

The lights were a bit too bright in the dining room, which would be an easy thing to improve for a more intimate feeling. There was a bar downstairs but it wasn’t clear how it worked so we didn’t try it. The ski locker didn’t have any boot warmers which was a shame.

Friendly staff. Francesca and Alberto and their team went out of their way to make our stay good. Great breakfast. We didn’t have dinner in as we went out into town. Room and en-suite were good Short walk to Dolonne lift through lovely old town. Characterful hotel with amazing collection of memorabilia. Courmayeur great resort for intermediates and above

My wife found the beds a little firm but for me they were perfect! Much better firm than too soft. It is a bit of a walk into town but we enjoyed stretching our legs and being close to Dolonne lift suited us

The hospitality of Francesca and the Chef (never got his name) were beyond the call of duty. They both made us feel welcomed right away and made our stay very comfortable. We were given some great local tips of where to shop and a few local secrets for sightseeing. Unfortunately we didn't ski on this trip but the lift is just a 200m walk away. Free underground car parking available, although would be very tight for a large car but manageable. Plenty of outdoor parking available. Beds were large and very comfortable. Underfloor heating in the bathroom. Great view from our room. Buffet breakfast had a great selection, and fresh coffee and teas to order. The property is easy to get to. It is very clean and new. I would highly recommend booking direct with the hotel, its cheaper.

This is a family run hotel and could not be better. It is spotlessly clean and all the staff are friendly and go the extra mile. We booked half board and the food was excellent with a good selection for breakfast and dinner. The room was warm and comfortable with a view over the river and Courmayeur. The Dolonne lift is less than 10mins walk and there is a ski hire shop close by the hotel There is plenty of parking. We would love to go back.

Lovely owners who really make you feel well looked after. Delightful people.. I was suffering from altitude sickness when I stayed and they were genuinely caring and made an unpleasant experience much better. I would stay here again without a second thought. The food was delicious on the set dinner menu. Just a shame I had virtually no appetite.

The room had no view apart from the wall of a neighbouring building. Disappointed at that price.

Such a fabulous hotel in an incredible location for skiing - so much better being this side of the river as you can virtually ski back to the door (you have to get the cable car back to Courmeyeur centre if you are staying there) But only a 10 min walk into town. We were looked after so well by Francesca and her family - so welcoming and fabulous food. We had a triple room which was perfect for three friends on a weekend away. We very much hope to be back

Newly rennovated historical hotel lovingly run by hands-on husband and wife. The full panoramic view of Courmayeur from the dining room and the becroom with a large terrace. Located at the end of Via della Vittoria which leads directly to the Doronne cable car straight to the ski slopes (400m). On the way back from the mountains, we could ski down to Fun Park to walk back for shorter distance. Wondering through the stone-build historical village was lovely. The main town of Courmayeur was on the other side of the river and a 10 minutes walk (800m). The breakfast and dinner were high quality, served with a good selection of local Aosta valley grape varieties (Torrette, Cornalin, Petit Rouge, Fumin, etc.). The service was charming and attentive. Large ski room with a mini museum of local (and family?) history. Plenty of private parking both indoor and outdoor. We will be back.

There was no furniture on the terrace outside our bedroom (maybe because it is still winter). Given the weather was sunny and warm, we would have enjoyed the idea of relaxing our apres-ski time there.

My wife and I had a wonderful holiday in this clean, cozy, small, pleasant family hotel! We really liked everything! The hotel owners are very attentive, friendly, pleasant to talk to and incredibly sweet! The breakfasts are delicious and filling, and the dinners are very varied and very tasty! 5 minutes walk to the ski lift. You can rent a locker at the first station and leave your skis, boots and staff at the top, and walk down to the hotel. The best recommendations!

My partner and I had an amazing time at Hotel Des Glaciers. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The hotel is in a beautiful spot in Courmayeur, surrounded by mountains and the Mont Blanc. The views were stunning and made our stay even more special. What really made our stay stand out was the fantastic service, especially from Francesca and Alberto. They were so kind and helpful, making sure we were comfortable and giving us great suggestions for things to do in Courmayeur. Our room was cozy and clean, a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel had everything we needed and more. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed a mix of local and international dishes that satisfied our taste buds. In short, our stay at Hotel Des Glaciers exceeded our expectations. The beautiful location, excellent service, and Francesca and Alberto kindness made it a trip to remember. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special time in Courmayeur.
