Rottnest is a special place - loved bike riding, watching the sunsets, morning coffees, picnics on the beach. Quietly reflecting and respecting the history and trauma suffered by Aboriginal people on the Island. Watching vast numbers of birds fly over the Aboriginal graves was very spiritually moving.

Our cabin although basic as expected was very basically clean - if you looked beyond the visible areas the floor was dirty. The bottom of the pots were greasy. One of the staff at check in was rude - however everyone else we met was lovely.

- very affordable and has most things you need - heating is good - Hot shower - Comfortable bed - Cooking utensil is functional - Have oven, microwave, stove, large fridge and electrical kettle. Can cook or heat up meals easily as food is expensive in this island

- not easy to locate and it will be good if they stated at “Caroline Thomson cabin” so that I could use Google map to locate the cabin. The map that they provided does not mention all the road names or landmark to find the cabin. I was lost for 30minutes - Inner surface of electrical kettle looks brown and over-used. - No toiletries - no hair dryer when it is so cold - early check out at 9am - need request linens and towel at the reception which is 10min or more away. - recommend to cycle in

visiting the attractions all accessible by all day bus pass was excellent, snorkeling around the island was awesome. within walking distance of the main shops and transportation ie Bus. Ferry. Able to book for tours online and combined them with others. Loved the museum and of course don't forget the quokkas.

Not having enough money to access the bike hire, especially the electric ones. some tours were rushed due to larger groups being shown around, Not having enough time to see everything.

Great location to the beach and lighthouse. Quiet and relaxing stay.

the lighting in the cabin was very dusty and could be a warmer light. Cycling around the island there was no where to fill up our water bottle. A tag needs to be added to bikes with a reminder and QR code for refill locations.

Pinky's beach, sunset at the lighthouse, beautiful clear ocean, the quiet, island life, etc. We visit Rottnest at least three times a year for all of its amazing features,

the bed in the cabin is not overly comfy. I think next time we'll book a cottage again, but accommodation of all sorts is just so difficult to find nowadays.

I met some really really great people here who were also all travelling alone and we ended up exploring together! Place was clean and only a short bike ride from town so was good.

Was a bit of a weird set up, had 12 beds but only 4 of us in the room, though this was for the best I suppose as only one toilet and bathroom so not sure what they’d do if it was max capacity.

Liked the facilities very clean and heaps of plugs to charge all your devices and the lockers do fit electric bike battery inside with easy and with heaps of room to spare. Totally recommend going to hostel for couple of nights for cheap way to stay in Rottnest Island.

The one complaint was it was bit out of the way from the main town centre but other than that it was wonderful place to stay. I wouldn't recommend if you want to stay their longer than 5 nights.

great facilities including kitchen with all necessary utensils, and a nespresso machine which was a nice surprise! huge double bed too which was super comfortable. balcony’s have amazing views, would definitely stay again.

there wasn’t anything that we disliked, only thing was that the location of the cabins was somewhat misleading on our booking. although the title of the booking is “Georgie bay cabins” it says the location is in Thompson bay so that was slightly misleading and disappointing in the beginning. In saying that though it is well serviced with a semi regular bus during the day, otherwise is only a short walk (approx 20-30 mins) or bike ride into town centre so really wasn’t a big deal.
