The hotel is located within the university grounds so it is nice and quiet. There are a few parking spaces directly outside the hotel but if these are occupied there is plenty of parking in a lot about 200 metres away. The rooms are simple but comfortable. Very good breakfast. Easy access into Stavanger- we used the bus which goes right past the hotel and takes about 20 mins. There is nowhere close by to eat but the hotel provides take out menus, you can order and pay at reception and the food iis delivered to the hotel. You can eat in the lounge and also order a drink from the bar. We found this very helpful when we arrived late on our first night.

Staffs are very nice and suggested us about good restaurants in town. Breakfast area is quite small and not much but they keep adding up when food run out. The room is big and clean. What missing is a small fridge but that’s not a problem for us. Also you will support university by staying here!

It is not in the city so it won’t be convenient if you need to travel around by public transportation. We travel with a car so it’s perfect.

Perfect modern room, clean and comfortable. No imperfections. There are free coffee pouches in the room. Very good if you have work at the university. Also the bus stop is 3 minutes away.

The bathroom feels little cold, the fan in bathroom pulls a lot of air through under the bathroom door, which makes the feet too cold when sitting in the toilet.

The hotel opened in 2018 or something, and you can clearly see that in the rooms. Everything is modern, clean, spatious, and well designed. We had one of the appartments, and everything you'd want is available in the kitchenette. The view was great, especially at night. The beds were very comfortable, even the foldout couch-bed (for the kids). And -something which we don't see often- the two person bed actually had a single large mattress, instead of just two beds being pushed together. This way, our youngest child could hop in our bed if he wanted to during the night. The location is easy to reach by car, just 10 minutes from the city centre. Breakfast buffet was proportional to how many tables could eat at the same time, and everything was prepared fresh in the kitchen which you could look into. And it contained all you could want for a healthy breakfast, and with different pastries each day.

We arrived on a sunday, and apparently sunday/monday there are not many restaurants open. I think there's a dinner option in the hotel (because the elevator mentions dinner orders until 21.30), but it was not really clear what the options were or if it's only room service or if the restaurant could be used. Then again, we didn't ask, but some information in the room would be nice.

The receptionist was very very kind. Since nearby there are not restaurants he gave us suggestions of different places with different budget. Our room was very clean and confortable. The atmosphere in common areas was very relaxing. Good breakfast although the food should be covered. We experienced people heavily breathing and coughing on it (COVID hasn't taught anything).

Really friendly staff. Really calm, modern and clean. Nice surrounding to have a walk. Free parking. Good breakfast. If you have a car to go to Stavanger we definitely recommend it. We come back on our trip for sure.

No fridge in the room. For people who like to sleep on a hard mattress it is not perfect. Some rooms are smaller than others in the same category: if you travel with 2 persons ask for a bigger room. There is no restaurant inside.

The staff was helpful at every turn. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped--especially in regard to the kitchen. The breakfast was fantastic and the dining area has a great aesthetic.

The only downside is the location which is 3 miles from the city center. That said, if you like to walk, it is a beautiful setting and very quiet. Also, the onsite parking is limited. But there is a parking lot a couple blocks away where you can park for free.

Charging facility didn't work however during the weekend there is plenty of parking space available near by with charging facility at a very low price rate. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant so you need to order food if you don't want to get out to the city.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very kind and helpful. The location is great if you attend events at UiS - and also well connected (by bus) to the city center. The breakfast was also a plus. If interested, there is also the option to rent the conference room, which is great for professional events. Overall, a great stay.

exceptional hotel about 10 mins out of town on the University site, so less expensive than city options. free parking and excellent regular bus service outside the door. staff couldn’t have been more helpful advising us about trips, helping with buying bus tickets and even ordering a take away for us and setting up a table to eat it when it arrived. Excellent breakfast buffet too which was included in the price.

nothing not to like unless you prefer to be within a walk of the city centre. Bus fare NOK 60 for a day ticket which was a cheaper option than driving giving toll charges and parking costs in city
