The location of Klosterstuble is amazing, it is a very short walk into the town square and made it easy to pop back to the room if needed during the day. The beds were comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. We had the breakfast for 2 of the days we stayed which was very nice.

We were travelling with children 7 and 3 years old, so for us what would have been ideal is a fridge in the room so we could keep some drinks and snacks in there. The weather while we were there was very hot so this probably wouldn't matter so much at a different time of year! The room was a little on the small side once there were four of us and four suitcases in there - but this is the nature of an historic building and the great location meant we spent most of the time out and about looking around the town anyway.

I would recommend staying in a room on the side with the elevator if you are traveling with a lot of luggage. It was unseasonably hot with no air conditioning, so check your weather and bring a small personal fan if you see it will be high temps. This is a great location where you can get to everything easily. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is great! Beds are comfortable and water pressure is good. Hair, body and hand soap all in one provided in mini bottles and no conditioner, so bring your own if you need that. I always do anyway, so it wasn't an issue for me. Toiletries are very reasonable if you want to buy after you arrive, but not that most stores that have a good selection are closed on Sundays. Lovely town and hotel!

No air. Bathroom is very small and ceiling is low for anyone 6'1" or taller.

The room was a quirky delight. My daughter and son had separate rooms and we were in the middle. My son's bunk bed had a hand made staircase running to the top bunk. Really cute place to stay. We opted out of breakfast, but they did have it available. The building is an old structure right across from a Romanesque church and a 4 minute walk from the center of town. It is within the walls. To do the luggage dropoff, I had to drive under an archway supporting the nave of the main town church. We ended up regretting not staying here another night, partly because of Rothenburg being such a treasure and partly because it was the nicest accommodation we had in Germany.

Gorgeous views from the Falcon Nest Room and even heated tile floor in the bathing area. So many windows for a refreshing cross breeze!

The clock tower chimes every hour so we could have used some ear plugs at night.

The loacation is beautiful close to city center but quiet at the same time. The view from the top rooms is really great. The staff at reception is very friendly and helpful. We asked a reservation at a restaurant near by and all got organized for us. The hotel is equipped with a lift which is a super thing at such a historic building as we had quite some luggage with us. The breakfast offer a wide variety of choices including eggs on order freshly made. If budget allows I recommend to book the room "Falkennest" as it has besides all necessary also a free standing bath tub to relax.

I have nothing to tell here.

The building has fabulous character, and was right in the old town, so a perfect spot. Close to the edge, where there's a small park and views across the river valley. Staff were very helpful, and breakfast plenty. Room and bed very comfortable. Our dog enjoyed her stay too in this beautiful hotel and city. Easy to offload luggage from our car right outside. Just 2 minute walk from city centre. Fantastic medieval city.

Room got very hot at night, although the outside temperature was cool. We were lucky that the staff found us a desk fan for our second and third nights which may things much better. Staff member quite loud in the street, which echoed due to the narrow stonewalled street and woke us early. Restaurant was handy, but food wasn't that great so we ate elsewhere for all other lunch and dinner meals.

Erika at reception was great!! Our car battery was dead the morning of departure. Having no luck with our rental car company, and not speaking German, we called her, and she sent someone to the parking lot to help us right away. Thank you, Erika! Location was great if you want to be inside the city center, and close to everything. Parking is some distance away, but Erika helps you with that, also.

Our room and bathroom were very small. But, in all fairness, I did choose the lowest priced room. If you want a larger, and more comfortable space, you should go up a level or two in price when booking. Other than that, no complaints.

We loved the location as we were easily able to walk everywhere. However, there is limited parking available if you have a car. For us, the beds were a little hard. Otherwise, the room and hotel were both great. There was a lot of charm to this place, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast downstairs was really good, and the attached restaurant made Christmas dinner really easy.

The beds were just a bit hard for our liking. But that's just personal preference, I think, no fault of theirs.

I was in Rothenburg for the 10th time, but I have never met such a hospitable and helpful owner as Eryka. Eryka works wonders and solves all problems. She found us a parking spot and reserved a restaurant for us even though it was fully booked. But Eryka works miracles. And for breakfast, she offers eggs with a special smile on them - you will see for yourselves. The hotel is charming, cozy, and excellently located - everything is close, just a 3-minute walk.
