What a fantastic place!Christian was helpful with my many questions.He arranged transportation from the airport and back to the airport The apartment is ideally situated near to many attractions,beautiful Trastevere with its lovely restaurants is literally a 5 minute walk away.Campio de Fiori square with its markets and restaurants a 2 minute walk away. We were provided with breads,fruits,yoghurts,cereals,milk,juice etc for our breakfast.There is a shop next door with all essentials. Our apartment was clean,lovely comfortable bed and very peaceful and quiet. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

This is definitely not a criticism but we would have liked a safe box in the room The area is very safe however our travel insurance only covers our valuables if we use a safe.

The apartment is nothing short of delightful, in one of the many historic and beautiful architecture streets in this magnificent city . The location is 10+ literally a minutes walk to a bridge (full of activity at night and a must )that takes you to the trendy Trastevere area in Rome with many great restaurants and bars , we were spoilt for choice. The balcony was lovely to sit in the evenings and was very quiet considering your location . We walked the streets of Rome, preferring this to the hop on hop off bus tours (which in larger cities we like to do), however Rome is very walkable (cobbled streets everywhere ), from the apt it took 30 mins to the Colosseum/Roman Forum via which we went to Circus Maximus and 25-30 mins to The Vatican City. Closer 5-20 mins you have Piazza Navona, Trevi fountain , Spanish Steps , Monument to Victor Emmanuel II/Pantheon and more …. The apartment was well equipped for a short stay and had all that we needed . The bed was comfortable and very quiet in the evenings we left a door ajar to let the fresh air in.

Location superb. Staff outstanding. Best customer service ever- Christian replied promptly, informatively and went over and above the course of duty . He made the difference between a good stay and a commendable one.

Bedroom was small and the mattress very hard Be aware of the locally payable tax @€84 for two of us for 7 nights, if you are budgeting.

Amazing 16th century apartment block, with soo much character, really secure, right by the footbridge into Trastavere, walking distance from all main bits of historic rome, yet soo peaceful in the room and we had the junior suite with terrace which was wonderful - it was huge!! Fridge stocked with juice, butter, milk and water every day, and cereal/cakes also in the room. Christian was there whenever we needed anything, even helped to take delivery of a wheelchair that i had booked for our stay - there is a lift as it is on the second floor - so not a problem even if you have mobility needs

The customer service was great. Cristian followed our flight which was delayed and coordinated with the driver so that when we finally arrived our driver was waiting on us. They also contacted our tour guide since we had scheduled a tour for that day and Manuele was able to get us our Vatican tour at a later time. It can be an all in one package if you would like one. We enjoyed the tours that we booked with Manuele. He was very knowledgeable, fun and accommodating any special needs. He shared a lot of great information but kept it very fun and engaging. Would recommend both if you are coming to Rome.

Our stay was too short.

The host and owner, Cristian, is very helpful, responsive and friendly. The location is perfect and is just steps from the Ponte Sisto bridge and the Campo de Fiore area. Pettinari Village is on the 3rd floor of an old building, and there is a lift. We stayed in Room 3 which was lovely. We were so happy with the room and the beautiful adjoining outdoor space. The first night, we kept the patio doors to the outdoor space open with the louvers closed, and the overnight sounds of the birds was such a nice surprise. Not something we expected in the Centro area of Rome:) The room itself was very clean with a double bed and a small buffet area that was stocked with cakes, breads, jellies, Nutella, yogurts, juice and water. The bathroom was very clean with a large shower. There were also toiletries for our use. The room was lightly cleaned each day. This was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast while visiting Rome as we have always stayed in full apartments. Pettinari Village was such a warm and relaxing experience, and we hope to stay here for our future trips to Rome. Thank you for hosting us Cristian.

We had a fantastic stay! Cristian was absolutely amazing — always available and incredibly responsive. The entrance to the property was easy to find and well explained, which made check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was very comfortable, and we especially loved the beautiful terrace — such a great place to relax. The amenities were top-notch, and the breakfast was generous and delicious, with plenty of variety. On top of that, the location was perfect — truly strategic for exploring all of Rome’s main attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Go there with your eyes closed — you won’t regret it!

Fantastic outdoor area! Massive and very comfortable which makes up for the no lounge area in the room. The owners leave beautiful thoughtful touches like little snacks, bread, cereal, fruit and water as well as tea and coffee facilities. Also Cristian took the time to talk us through sites as well as marking them on a map. He organised transport from the airport for a reasonable $65 euro and met us at the door. I cannot fault the service at all and the place was very comfortable and immaculate. The only very minor issue for others not myself because I’m quite short would be the gap between the toilet and basin. May prove a little awkward for taller people but would maybe just require sitting on an angle. Don’t let that prevent you from booking this place!

Everything! If I could give this 20 stars I would. The location was situated perfectly just across the river from the iconic Trastevere neighborhood and a quick walk from tourist must sees, but tucked away enough that it was quiet. The amenities, between the bathroom essentials, and the cute breakfast nook- everything had a thoughtful touch. The place was unique and lovely with updated features. The bed was so comfortable and the black shutters worked great. The terrace was just lovely and because it was tucked away in the back - it was quiet and a great place to read and enjoy some wine. Accessibility. Of all the places we stayed in our 16 days of Italy- this was the easiest to get in and out of - with a larger and updated elevator and easy door access. The hospitality and ease of communication through check in and out. Cristian was very communicative and helpful and meeting us for both checking in and out. He also arranged for a driver to take us to the airport. Would stay here again and again!

That we couldnt stay longer!!!

I would highly recommend Pettinary Village B&B. Its location is perfect and all main attractions are within walking distance. The host was very helpful and attentive from the minute we arrived at the accommodation until we left, nothing was a bother from arranging taxi's to/from airport to restaurant recommendations. Christian was available in person and via text throughout our stay. The breakfast was an added bonus before heading out exploring.
